Neat experience. Understandably it's touring many floors of a large building it's not the most physically challenged friendly place. However they have 'accessible' tours at specific times, which is awesome. After watching a elderly woman in a walker almost begin the tour, it was clear the tour staff may a bit of sensitivity training to provide information to guests who may not understand the physical demand of the tour. It's tough to tell people 'no' but that patron would have had an incident should they allowed her to go on the non-accomidating tour.

This is a fabulous 'Behind the scenes' tour.

This is a fabulous 'Behind the scenes' tour.

You start your tour by travelling on the worlds longest escalator and get to see how things work on this pop-ular 24 hour news channel.

Sadly you are not allowed to take pictures, but it's well worth the price of admission.

Fun tour! Really enjoyed it. Felt like we learned a lot about how they do a broadcast. Escalator was an experience in itself. Neither of us is afraid of heights, but we did discuss that it seemed awfully big. Turns out, it has a world record!

This Sunday my family went to the CNN center as part of our city pass. My husband and I have a 5 year old son and a 10 month old daughter. We got to the first room in the tour where you sit down and my daughter made a tiny goo sound. Not crying. Not being disruptive. The man called me out and said rudely "Do you have a pacifier for that baby?!". I said "no".. He obnoxiously said, "Oh great! with a huff and rolled his eyes". Completely embarrassed me and upset me. When we got out of that room and were making the transfer to the next room he was off to the side away from people and I calmly said "That was a bit rude in the other room". No one else heard me. I didn't call him out in public. He yelled I could just leave and get my money back. My husband asked him to calm down. The guide got in my husband's face fussing and kicked us out loudly and obnoxiously. But not before making me cry (28 year old woman here in front of my 5 year old child with a baby who is being ridiculously good and not causing issues in a large group of people). The security man took my statement and called his boss who apologized and made things right. I was told that he apologized to the group we were a part of at the end for his behavior and would be dealt with. They put us on the next tour which we only did because our son wanted to learn about how the news worked. The new guide was amazing. No one had issues with my children. We learned a lot. But for me, my son seeing a man treating his mother like that put a damper on my time. I've never been treated like that before and I probably will never go there again. Not in the near future. We'll take our money elsewhere from now on.

The tour itself? 4/5. However the fantastic tour guide made this a 5/5.

There are only 4 or 5 stops, but at each stop the guide will explain a lot that goes on in each of the places as well as answered all of the questions asked to her. She was very knowledgeable and able to effectively explain things in a way that would be understandable for even the non-tech savvy.

It is pretty amazing to see all of the gears that make a news network like CNN work. For ~$15 per ticket, I think it is well worth the 50-minute tour if you watch any news networks on TV, regardless of where you lean in politics. This tour does not say or do anything politically charged, so don t avoid this tour because of that.

You will see what the control room looks like, what an actual studio that records news looks like, and a few other rooms and studios that film international news.

The entire building itself is amazing to just be inside even if you do not go on the tour, so at least come inside the building to hang, grab food, and soak in the magnificent structure.

The tour offered much more than I expected! It was very informative and I learned a lot about the history behind CNN and how their shows are recording works is shared across the world. Very educational for my children and kept them engaged and interested from start to finish.

The tour was really short, you can only see newsroom through a window, they allow you to take pictures at only two times and they are rushing you to take it . You don t get to be in a real stage or have the experience of knowing first hand how a studio works but only looking through a monitor. Drinks during the tour are not allowed unless you have a bottle of water with the tap on. As a journalist I was expecting more of this tour due to the fact this was the main reason for me to come to Atlanta .

The kids and I had a great time. We went on all three tour's. First on wedsday we did the regular tour. We gave an hour after and did the Vip tour. Thursday morning we did the 8:45 with Robin. Each tour is diffent and meeting Robin, Mike, and the sports guy. We loved it. Try all three tours. Robin is the bices person and great with kids. I thank her staff and her for a great time. I am from Sacramento and Mike is from Stockton. I have to say he is so cool.

Our tour group was much too large to accommodate, which detracted from the quality of the tour. The tour was short and not super interesting, and nearly half the tour is "mock" newsrooms and CNN videos... Not worth the money in my opinion.

This was my second time on the tour with a span in between tours of about 8 years. This latest one wasn't as good. I recall the last tour being more comprehensive and frankly a little less salsey. It's still worth doing, just not as good as before

Get in the inside of CNN, see people from your tour group try to read from the telepromter, present the forecast. See the newsroom from above. All in all, I found that $15 is a bit expensive for an hour long tour.

I worked here so maybe I'm a bit biased. My CNN tour was free and we got to meet anchors and all that jazz. Definitely take the tour, but i know a lot of people come to eat here before concerts at Philips Arena or before a game at the Georgia Dome. It is also right across the street from Centennial Park. There is a lot of seating, high ceilings with that open space feeling, and it's a great spot to meetup with friends.

Even though I don't care for CNN much as a network, the tour was amazing to see some of the newsrooms, green screens, sample desks, and employees working round the clock. Large and great food court.

The tour is very interesting, it explains in detail what happens behind the television news reports. Obviously you can't take pictures except in two places where it is allowed. The entrance times are meticulously respected so it is sufficient to queue about 10 minutes before. There is a large Food Court where you can eat and relax.

Not worth the admission price ($15 pp). You only see a few of the studios and the newsroom from above, and the studios were could see were empty. The one studio that was actually filming, they had put up walls so you couldn't see anything. The whole thing is less than an hour, but between all the walking, introductions, and photo taking that they try to sell you at the end, the content is only about 15 mins. Go do the Coke World tour instead.

Our tour guide was very nice, but the tour felt very "light" on interesting things to see and learn. For instance didn't really see a real studio or news room. The main "real" thing we saw was an overhead look at the news-gathering room. The attempt to sell us our photos at the end seemed low-class of CNN. I'm a bit surprised at the positive reviews because we didn't see a live/real studio or control room in action, which maybe they did. Note that I'm talking about the $15 tour and not the more extensive one.

I was expecting a little more out of this tour. You don't really get to see much of the studio. The most interesting part of the tour was seeing the newsroom. It was very informative and the tour guide was great. I just wish we could have seen more.

The highlight was riding an elevator that was in the Guinness book of world records. Everything after that was "meh". The tour guide did good, it is just that there is nothing interesting here. Unless somebody really loves CNN, I would not recommend it.

The tour, as a whole, was "ok". I expected a little more pop from the tour, but it was an almost robotic trip through the studio. To be fair it was a Sunday morning, not exactly a crazy day/time for anything too riveting. I was just about 50 minutes long, and if you got your entry through the "City Pass" you won't feel robbed.
