This was my 1st trip to Atlanta from the UK so the CNN building was on my list of places to go in the city. We decided we wasn't going to do the tour as time was short and we had other plans. We still really enjoyed ourselves just being there. The building is huge and seems like there is so much to do. The tour cost was $16.30 which is really good for what you could see. We went into the Cartoon Network store as my daughter loves it. I brought a few things for her as gifts. The staff were very helpful and the building busy. The next time I'm in Atlanta we will definitely be doing the tour.

A very informative and interesting tour of CNN. The guide really knows a lot about the channel. You will be told how the company collects information and decides which part goes on the air, it is possible to see the action live. When traveling inside a building under a glass roof, you feel very unusual, as if several business centers were covered with a dome, but by the way it is, see for yourself

I was looking forward to this tour, however at the end of it I wasn t left so pleased. I thought the tour was kind of short and we didn t really get to see the important good stuff on the tour. It was pretty basic and not worth it at all in my opinion. Having said that, it has good food places in the food court.

It is very interesting to take a look behind the scenes, but I found the lead to be rather thin at times. There are about 15 stations that you walk and sometimes you stand there for less than 1min, but you have to walk there for 3min.
But you can definitely join in, especially if you have the CityPass. The building itself is extremely impressive. You are not allowed to take photos during the tour.

The tour is very interesting. I just wish we could've met Ted Turner. . There are lots of steps coming down to lower floors so if that is a challenge, make other arrangements when you book your tour. There's a nice food court and great security throughout the building.

Impressive tour if you have an interest in how news broadcast works. Nothing much for kids. You can take photographs only at first 2 locations. Dirty washrooms. Limited food options. You can't carry food or drinks on the tour. It is about 50 min tour.

Very neat to see the CNN process in action, and we had a great and enthusiastic tour guide to make the experience that much better. The escalator to the top of the globe(the world's longest freestanding escalator) is absolutely terrifying, you can feel it shake below your feet multiple times on the way up, and if you fall down it you are pretty much dead. So hold on.

Affordable attraction to take the family to. This is a guided tour throughout the television world of CNN. You go up a huge escalator to start and once the tour starts after every stop you have to walk down stairs so be prepared for that. It's an interesting tour of you're into how the news casters and meteorologists work and how they get their information.

Good:

Good:
- The building is really cool, the atrium is humongous and picturesque.

Bad:
- The tour was very meh, there were about 40 people and we had to go to a bunch of different rooms to explore different aspects of CNN. The problem was, there was only a couple minutes of content at each place, so the vast majority of the time of the "50 minute walking tour" is just getting up and herding 40 people to different rooms. I didn't really feel like I learned much on the tour, but seeing the rooms where people worked was kinda cool.
- No building wide wifi, this is kinda a small gripe, but it should really become the norm now. I had to connect to Starbucks or Dunkin and those networks were overloaded by the hundreds of other people connected to it. Definitely a minor nit though.

Though the food court was good, the Studio Tours are a complete RIP-OFF!!!!! The guide SUCKED, he talked way too fast for anyone to hear. The Coca-Cola World is a much better option, and is much more enjoyable for the whole family. Moreover, CNN is NOT a place for kids. Many of the kids and teenagers were whining, and none of the adults looked very interested. I'd even go as far as calling it a scam.

To be clear, this is a review of the tour itself, not of the food court or surroundings. The tour begins with a ride up the longest freestanding escalator, which was enough to excite our son. Our tour guide was energetic, enthusiastic, and full of interesting information about the inner workings of a major news agency. There were numerous opportunities to stop and see the studios, research desks, and other production areas which were fascinating. If you're a fan of news reporting, it's a very interesting tour and worth the cost.

Great tour with interesting things to see inside. You start by going up to the top in a long escalator. Tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. Too bad there were not any live broadcasts to see. It comes with the Atlanta Citypass, which is a great deal.

If you have city pass it worths. Overall it s below average tour. Security guards needs to change their attitude to the visitor. You pay money to have fun and learn new things about media but they act like a boss there and make you feel bad.

It was awesome to see behind the scenes of the news agency and how everything works. The only thing I didn't enjoy about it were some of the people not following the rules about the use of cell phones during the tour, but that can't really be helped. I really recommend this to anyone who has any sort of interest.

Something interesting to do if you need to kill an hour indoors because of rain. You don't learn anything that someone with a basic interest on TV wouldn't already know. Group size is on the large side (40ish), so you don't always get a good view. Our tour guide Blake was funny, which was a bonus.

Tour is 50 minutes long and tells a little about CNN's history and shows the behind the scenes of the channel. It also has the largest escalator in the world! It is possible to buy tickets through the website, already with the time that it will start. I recommend it, especially if you are making a long connection in Atlanta.
