- Cool tour in a neat building
- Do not understand why they do not allow photos/videos in a TV production facility
- Invasive security inspection prior to entry
- Security follows you everywhere like you are a shoplifter--unclear why other than the general threat of some nut-job

Would be five stars if the VIP guide had told more history of the place and CNN as filler information because there were times where the guide had repeated herself or otherwise didn't have much to say. Other than that it was a cool experience just to see how the studio puts everything together and what behind scenes looks like.

This place was neat. You get to look behind the scenes of how they do live news broadcast.

Would not really recommend to do the VIP tour unless you are a die-hard fan CNN. The only difference is you get to go inside the newsroom rather than look at it behind a glass wall(cost double price of a standard ticket)

Make sure to go on a weekday before 1pm if you want to catch a live broadcast.

Also for Carlos Azuz fans if you tweet him on twitter he might come out and greet you!

This is a short tour and you don't get to see much. You're escorted by security guards at every step of the way. And they warn you ahead of time that there's no bathroom breaks along the way. I was really hoping to see a show being taped or broadcast, but we learned that a lot of their programs are filmed in their New York and Washington DC studios. The tour wasn't too expensive, though. And you do get to ride up the world's longest free-standing escalator!

Fantastic place, a must see when in Atlanta. Very informative, chance to meet the CNN staff, recommend the VIP tour, small groups, much more interaction reasonable tour price cost for what you get.

My husband and I took his out of town family to do the CNN Studio Tour last year and it was pretty neat. We both took a day off of work to do the tour and it was great because it wasn't too crowded. The only down side to going on a weekday is that there were 2 big school groups with us... and let's just say those teenagers were not interested in staying with the group (which in turn slowed us all down because we couldn't proceed through certain doors without until everyone had caught up). The overall tour was cool because you got to see a little behind the scenes of the news studios though!

We enjoyed the tour; to us it was worth the money and the time (under an hour). It's a light tour in the sense that while you do get to see a few rooms and a description of what each is for, there is no "food for thought" whatsoever. The highlights of our tour were getting to listen in on the producer's audio channel during a live broadcast, and having Christi Paul wave to us during a commercial break. Lowlights included mandatory posing for photos which they later tried to sell us, and a lack of discussion of CNN as a news organization - I can easily think of a dozen questions off the top of my head that did not get answered.

Loved walking into the CNN building. It felt familiar, like I was apart of history. The tour started up the longest escalator on earth which is amazing. Had our photos taken in front of the green screen. The result was beautiful photos as reporters. One of our tour group volunteered to do a mock anchor report. We viewed the newsroom. I loved the tour and our guide, Devon.

So I'm not sure if it was different before but we came after the deranged person made a threat to blow up the place. We had police escorts and the tour was perfunctory. I was told there was a spot to take photos at a mock desk but we were shuffled in and out pretty quickly. Also, come during a weekday or during taping hours. We came through and it was pretty empty.

Okay Experience and didn t find that exciting. Everything looks like a silent tour watching people from glass and couple of videos they played. Plan if you don t have any plans for the day for 1 hr.

Not disappointed with the CNN Studios VIP tour. It is the headquarters of CNN even though most of their blockbuster shows are actually shot in New York or Washington. However, these are the only ones that can be visited and the visit of studios of news channels remains very rare.

There are also large CNN and Cartoon Network souvenir shops.

There are many fast food in the inner courtyard of the huge building.

I purchased the citypass tickets which allows you to pick 5 out of 7 attractions to do. The CNN tour was one of the main attractions. Addison our tour guide was really nice and interacted with my kids really well. I thought the tour was very cool and informational. I do wish we got to see a "live" show being broadcast or even got to meet some of the anchors or directors. If I didn't purchase the citypass I probably would have never went, but glad I got to experience it. We had several security guards following us at all times which to me made me feel safe.

If you're a news junkie, this is somewhat of a pilgrimage.

The actual interior of the CNN headquarters is quite interesting on the ground level are gift shops and a mall-style food court (the whole ground level has mall vibes).

The tour is not long and doesn't involve an insane amount of walking. It is informative, however, and you get decent access to different parts of the production operation.

This was my first time on the tour even though I've lived in Atlanta for a long time. I went with a couple of cousins from out of town and they sprung for the V.I.P. tickets, which was totally worth it - 2x the price for 10x the tour. We only had 12 people on the tour and had amazing backstage access. It was a fascinating tour and look at how CNN works.

Our guide was Sean and I can't believe he had only been there a few months. He was amazing. He could tell our group was really into the tour, asking great questions so he went all out in where he took us, including inside spaces you normally only observe through a window. I highly recommend this Atlanta attraction.

This tour is okay. Depends on how knowledgeable you are on television. It doesn't take you through any studios which is really disappointing and only had one interactive spot with the green screen. The VIP tour is where it's at but far more expensive.

Yeah so the best part of the tour was seeing the inter workings of what goes on at CNN, everyone was really nice.

I expected more from this tour as seeing a live studio podcasting or so, but the closest thing was a glimpse to the news room (where they prepare the news). The tour guide didn't know basic information, like if the reporters segment is live or pre-recorded!
