Great food amazing 360 view of Toronto while you eat. Friendly staff. Only downside is it's quite expensive.
Great food amazing 360 view of Toronto while you eat. Friendly staff. Only downside is it's quite expensive.
The view is amazing, but the interior and food is average
Lentil meatballs are delicious as a vegetarian option. And the view of the entire city is spectacular.
It is very worth it if you want to treat yourself or are having a romantic dinner.
For anyone that's ever been on a Finland cruise - that's the vibe the restaurant will give u. It smells like fish and other food; there's the wall-to-wall carpet; and some lobster for like an hour at least. If it wasn't for the view, our waitor and just the experience then I would have given the restaurant a lower rating. It's like, either make better food or lower your prices.
Beautiful night view of the city, great service and great food but just the steaks was overcooked
Took my gf for a dinner date here on here birthday. She loved it and so did i.
View is nice and that's the only thing you are paying for.. Food is very poor.
Bread served was cold first off..
Got the fish that came with potatoes and greens.. I assuming they were bringing the sides in a side plate because it came with the fish with a shaving ( I'm guessing of potatoes) so was starving and had to fill up on the cold bread.
For my 18 month old the kids menu was $40 which is a little over priced for a child.
For my dessert I ordered the chocolate tower. I had seen a photo of it in the way in.. that's not what I got.. I got a skinny chocolate cup with mousse instead..
Can honestly say worst food experience but they dont care because it's still busy as people want the view.. but if you are going expecting a good meal dont unless you want to pay $500 to fill yourself up
We were a table of 4 and we all had a bad food experience.
Sidenote/tip- there is a hotdog stand outside.. think having one in your bag could make the experience more enjoyable
At sunset and a panoramic view of Toronto, the view is magnificent. The food is delicious but lukewarm in some places and the prices are slightly above the normal range but for the price the spinning of the platform and the candle is paid with.
Great experience. Loved the rotating floor seating arrangement. It takes a little over an hour to go around the restaurant. The staff is amazing, and they don t rush you, so you can enjoy your dinner while enjoying the 360-degree view of Toronto.
The view was beautiful. However, the food was below average. The 4/5 stars are mainly for the beautiful scenery, cleanliness, the decent service and the fact that It s a very romantic date-y type of restaurant - which I love.
The overall experience was below expected, the food offered was terrible. It was tasteless and the food presentation seemed like a child put it all together. The price is ridiculously high, considering the quality. Service wasn t the greatest, server wouldn t make any recommendations when we asked, all they wanted is just tips, when I asked the server if it was included in the bill, he got very excited. It was my boyfriend s bday dinner and we both were disappointed. Don t waste your money if you are going there because of the view and wish to experience fine dining.
Will not recommend this restaurant to anybody.
Appalling Customer Service! The management at this restaurant turned away a sweet 16 birthday celebration, of 8 people, simply because of cost. The girls went all the way up to have dessert and the restaurant would not allow them to sit down, as they would not be ordering 'enough food' to justify a seat at a table. This is discriminatory behavior, and quite frankly, so sad. Our daughter will never forget this offensive and belittling experience on her birthday.
The scenery is beautiful, the taste is average, the price is not beautiful,
Booked in advance asked for a window seat, didn t get one. Couple vacated a window seat right next to us right after we sat down, asked server Clarence to move us, was refused. He stated window seats were only provided when asked for, which I indicated was the case on the reservation, to no result. Bread brought to table was cold and chewy. Prime Rib was dry. Cocktails were left empty without being asked for a refill, had to wave him down. Not the service you d expect at these prices. I ve been here before with completely opposite results. The view of-course is outstanding, but the restaurant isn t worth it anymore. Save your money, eat somewhere that isn t relying on its location for patrons, and come to the observation deck for the view later.
Service was exceptional and the seafood was the freshest. The food and views were great, I will definitely return.
Curtious neet attentive.....delicious and appetizing!...
Really unpleasant experience. Low quality food cooked poorly and extremely overpriced. Not one thing that the restaurant did was to standard let alone "fine dining". The views were amazing but I would recommend you eat elsewhere and just pay the money to go to the observation platform or bar. Oh and the staff were so rude and condescending that I was furious by the end of the meal and just wanted to leave.
The food here is very, very good. Our waiter was amazing, very good knowledge of the wine and the pairing. If you purchase a "prix fix" then your lift to the viewing area is covered. I enjoyed the fact that you can see the whole city and have a nice look over lake Ontario while eating. I definitely recommend it once for everyone visiting Toronto.
We usually have a New Year Eve lunch or dinner at 360 restaurant every year. The food is good and reasonably priced.
If you wish to bring your own wine, they charge a 45 dollar cork fee, which I find outrageous given the level of service they provide ( to be specific they broke the cork in our bottle half way when trying to open the bottle, no decanting etc. .....).
Our server was very professional and polite , however some of the helpers were rude and inconsiderate. My daughter politely asked for some crayons, the helper thru them on the table, probably out of haste, but nontheless my seven year old said : that was rude....
Overal, the facility suffers from a very poor management for such a significant infrastructure. From difficulties in access, parking and signage to mis-haps at the coat check to outrageous wine bottle opening fees. All signs of a very rookie and poor operation and management. Other than that, the view is nice, the facility is clean and tidy, and the food is not half bad.
One last thing to mention, I felt really insulted when I called to ask about their corking fee, the woman who answered the phone said out right : we don't recommend you bring your own wine. In my view that is a personal choice that she should have been tought to be respectful of. Again another sign of poor management.....
I have lived in Toronto for all my life, and it's surprising how many hidden gems there are. 360 The Restaurant at the CN Tower is a must see for tourists and residents alike.
Be sure to book in advance, the lines to get up are quite long. The food is a little pricey, but it's well worth it. When you're at the top, you get a stunning view of the city you can't see anywhere else. The restaurant has "360" in its name because the seats and table revolve around the CN Tower, showcasing all parts of the city. The speed is so calm that I didn't even realise that we were spinning until half way into our meal!
This is an experience....I highly recommend you go...The food is good...The portion size is small and its expensive but hey isn't every bougie restaurant.
View is amazing, service was great.
THE A LA CART selection is way better then the fixed menu, we tried both. The quality is far superior on the a la carte menu, but double the price.
the atmosphere and the quality of the food is good but the portion of the food is tooooooo small.
The food was not bad. I recommend the course meals because it comes with many choices for a reasonable price. We went as a group of 6 and it cost around 500 for dinner. You pay mostly for the view. But it is around 40 for a tour of the tower without the restraunt. It cost around 60 per person for the meal. So you eat but see everything the general admission offers. Just note appetizers and desserts are small portioned. The meat and main is bigger then the waiter says. The service is amazing. Dress code is confusing though. Some people will dress nice and others wear casual. I don t think it matters because it is a tourist attraction. I hope you found this helpful. All reserve the time around 8:15. You will see the sun set.
The restaurant is in a beautiful setting. The view is exceptional. You also have access to the gazebo on the lower level.
We took the menu with the three services and the quality is excellent. The service is sometimes a bit long because there are a lot of people. It is preferable to reserve in advance.
PS: bring a little wool because it is cold up there.
Fabulous meal, terrific scenery - happy we went for an early dinner in order to see the sunset, dusk, then see the city in the dark. A fabulous city!
Went there 10 yrs ago, so went back for anniversary. Very disappointed! Their service was just ok, but the food quality was poor. My salmon was over cooked and under seasoned. Didn t finish appetizer and dessert was forgettable. We started laughing at how unbelievably bad the food was and was sorry we hadn t gone somewhere else.
Go for the view should be their slogan - everything else is overpriced and underwhelming.
Won t recommend, won t be going back.
The view is sensational! It is a revolving restaurant, so you can see the city in its four cardinal points! The delicious dishes! The excellent attention!
Having a dinner here is a unique experience, if you come to Toronto, CN Tower is a MUST!
Quality meal and hearty. Good value for money with an exceptional view.
Food was just ok, (and pricey - but that is expected), but you go for the rotating view! You need a reservation, and we didn't feel rushed, which was nice. Would have rated service higher if waiter had been more personable - but no complaints about the actual service.
food is tasty but overpriced. rather long wait times. not worth the visit if it wasn't for the views of the city.
Good one-time experience on a proper sunset evening!
The only advantage of going to 360 Restaurant is that you actually get a 360 view of Toronto city without a lot of traffic /rush. Obviously the food is overpriced and mainly taste bland (low on salt). The only thing which actually had a taste was the beef rib steak. 2 course for $65 is a better option as the appetisers are pretty useless and a main plus dessert is a better choice. Tried 3 desserts and all 3 were pretty useless. Would go again just for the views as well as the lesser crowds. Despite having to pay $65/head plus tax for a 2 course menu.
Went for my daughters birthday, party of five. Excellent food! Panoramic view and exceptional service! A special thanks to our server Javed for making it a memorable evening.
I couldn't have asked for a better meal. From the atmosphere to the view, there is nothing that comes close to what you get here. I can not wait to visit again with the wife in January. 5/5 stars. I truly do hope that my next visit is as enjoyable as this one.
Much better than expected. Service is very good. Foie gras for appetizer is not very good. Definitely not worth extra $6. Tried elk for main anf it was very good. Overall great experience. Great spot to bring your friend who is new to Toronto.
Bread served prior to meal - dry, not the freshest, hard crusts.
Plate not clean - got something sticky on it (see photo).
Food - portion is decent for fine dining restaurant although the taste is below expectation. The chef also seems to have some liking for strange texture. The shrimp and grit (supplement $6 extra) has too much liquid in the grit but the corn in the grit is too hard. Also the mashed potatoes for the main was mashed with skin on it. The texture was really unbalanced and strange, the potato skin also makes the color of the mashed potatoes darker and unappetizing.
Ambience - expected to be quiet but way TOO LOUD (but it is the CN tower so...)
View - now that s what you are really paying for. Great for dates
Pricing - you know what you are getting into if you come here
Overall I think there is still a lot of value in the dinner package, just don t expect too much for the food.
One of the best meals I've had. A definite must visit while in Toronto
Pleasant experience overall. Food is descent but not the best, however I feel like it's more about the view. Would have given this place a 5 star but got really inconvenienced when trying to make a small change to my reservation because they just didn't want to answer my call. Called twice and each time waited more than 11 minutes (picture provided) and eventually just gave up and went there as is.
The food was ok.. lobster soup tasted like pure butter
The view is great (needless to say), food is not bad. Price is not bad taking in to account the rent they have to pay for this place. However, unless for the view, and for the record, I would not choose to go here just for the food.
From Japan:)
Pricey but great foods made with local ingredients and awesome view. Smoked salmon was outstanding. Highly recommend for travelers, anniversary or just for gourmets.
Great view and a great table. what a nice place to go for a special night out.
Food is terrible not worth the price. The view however is the only reason I give it two stars. I would recommend to pack your own lunch or dinner and buy a general admission.
Top notch food with terrific view. Would definitely come back
Great food, great service - incredible view - Richard Trus review
Great place to go to eat and see the beautiful side of Toronto. We the North!
I really wanted to love my experience here but unfortunately I wish I never went. My husband booked our anniversary dinner for July 27th. We were trying to recreate our engagement dinner from 2017 at the Stratosphere, Las Vegas which is a revolving restaurant designed simarly to 360.
To start with, I think this restaurant is over commercialized if that makes any sense and takes away any intimacy from the setting. It's over crowded and my first impression on walking in felt like walking into a buffet but OK it's a popular place!
We ordered appetizers, taste was basic, portion size was small but it's "fine dining" so size doesn't matter. We hoped the main dish would taste super. We both didn't eat more than a few helpings of the main dish. My husband ordered steak that came with a side of mashed potatoes and veggies. Steak was bland, potatoes had lumps and tasted like plain potatoes and I'm not sure how to describe the veggies.
My order of pasta was a disaster. I had three helpings and couldn't have anymore. My husband packed his to go but we couldn't even eat it at home!
Well, we drank our wine and got our huge bill which wouldn't matter if it experience was worth it but it wasn't.
Service was rushed and poor to be honest. Im quite sure I wouldn't be back here for my own pleasure and would discourage people who are planning special events. Just to see if it we as a one off, I spoke to some friends about our experience and they all had similar experiences.
I would usually take pictures of nicely plated food but nothing was worth taking a picture of here. I hope management realizes the value people intend to get from coming to this place and makes adjustments accordingly.
The view is spectacular of course. But not such a great experience. Grossly overpriced and I've had a lot of nice dinners out. So I was expecting phenomenal for the price. Went for the first time ever, and had the Prime Rib. Full of fat, over cooked. No roasted vegetables. The three I had, they were also over cooked. My sons dessert was a chocolate chip cookie but it was so hard, he couldn't eat it. Service was great, no issues at all. The lava cake also was overcooked, it didn't run out as it's supposed to. I won't go back until they make changes.
If it hadn't been the view and the salad it would have been 0 star. The food and plating looked good..The stuffed pasta was over cooked, its flavor was bland and the stuffing was horrible , the salmon was dry and the mashed potato that came with it was bland almost watery. The bread that they served to you was hard as rock. There where two servers serving our desk, one of our server was nice , but the other one took our food right away having not finished the food yet. Don't go there for dinner... dinner was $65 minimum per person and I will say it was $65 wrongly spent.
A must do eating experience - the food is good and the wine ok. The service was very good , but the thing that makes this special is the view.
The 360 restaurant at CN Tower has an amazing view of Toronto, and with its revolving floor you get to see it all as you eat and drink yourself through an amazing experience.
It has a price premium compared to a restaurant on the ground, but it is worth it.
A Very Memorable Night!!
Yes there is the view but so many have written about it so I'll just skip it. I went to the 360 with a large group, earlier this year to celebrate a birthday. There was a great menu offered this time which focused on real Canadian made dishes which I really liked. Once our group was sat, waters poured, wine ordered and children sat I finally made my choices. I started with the absolutely out of this world Smoked Sable Fish Chowder, for an appetizer to share I chose the wild rice dish and I had as a main course braised Elk which was amazing. A great evening for all and I do recommend the 360 for couples, friends, pre-game and any other occasion. It was not my first visit, but most memorable.
Definitely worth going here. You get to experience everything the tower, the revolving restaurant, with just the dinner. The service is amazing! I ordered the Ontario grilled chicken, can t find the picture. Appetizers were amazing as well! Such a classy place to have a meal! Menu is seasonal, I believe it changes in summer and winter.
I love this place, I was there in January to celebrate my anniversary. My husband and I both agree the cuisine is delicious, great experience, the restaurant manager also came to greet us and spoke for a bit. In our menu selection, entrance to the CN tower glass floor, etc..was included. We were there to celebrate my eldest daughter s birthday not too long ago, we ll be back for sure
Food is good. View is spectacular, especially on a nice sunny day, clear sky for sunset or night scenes.
Service was absolutely wonderful. Natasha was our waitress and took her time catering to our needs. The food was great... The view... The absolute best. The restaurant rotates one revolution per every 72 minutes, so you always have a different view. We had a group of 10 and they were extremely accommodating for our group. Did I say the food was great! Excellent experience.
Nice venue with a great view. Some of the service was a little slow and it's a little pricey but other than that can't complain.
The restaurant can improve, but the view is amazing. I have been to eat at the restaurant twice and this last time I noticed the facilities a bit dirty and the waiter was super rude. Outside of that, going to the tower is a must, a Toronto classic
Superb food and desserts vegan options available. Reasonable priced. CN tower entrance included with a private elevator. The 360 rotation takes one hour which is enough to get your food and finished
A wonderful experience.
Stellar views.
Wonderful prime rib.
Good, good service, good quality of food! Some portions more generous than others (chicken vs duck) ... otherwise great!
The food is delicious but the prices are astronomical and the spinning restaurant made my partner feel nauseous.
Very nice experience. Food was plenty and really good. The recipes were original. The service is impeccable and very family friendly. The view is fantastic. And we received a 5 star service from A to z where we used the separate elevator just for ourself. No queue !
Honestly, the price you re paying does not justify the amount and quality of food you ll be getting. You re basically just paying for the view not the food. I hope they upgrade their menu. I would recommend dining at a better restaurant with great menu selections.
Food was not very good, understand high price due to location but at least have competent service and properly prepared food. They didn t have steak knives and any knife the could provide me for my steak was completely inadequate for cutting the steak, the horseradish sauce had no spice whatsoever, I asked the server for a better knife and he came back with a butter knife despite the fact I had a steak in front of me and there was nothing on the table that would have been applicable for a butter knife, the selection contends to be 100% canadian however most of the wines are international and none of the selection is very good. It took far too long for food to show up, my order wasn t taken promptly, the server had no suggestions for wine or tried to explain the menu. Put a keg up there so at least you get good food and good service consistently, it doesn t have to be an overly fancy Restuarant just a competent one where the food is satisfying and comes with appropriate cutlery.
Went there for our anniversary over the Victoria Day long weekend. A 5 star view with 3 star food. The experience was what made me rate them a 4. For two of us and a $300.00 bill you would expect much better food but it was only mediocre. The same level can be found at any regular bar & grill for $100.00 for two people. (Again you are really paying for the view) Our server was nice and even though they need turn over within 75 mins we didn't feel too rushed by her. Something i would recommend anyone to do once in their life in Toronto but i wouldn't go back unless the cuisine level was raised severely.
Pricey but food is good and gets you access to the viewing level too so better value.
Great food, amazing view, and an unforgettable lunch. I stayed for about 2 hours at the restaurant. Definitely recommend the Chicken Supreme entree. Delish!
Meal includes general admission to the CN Tower.
Very, Very poor service from Waiters. The just could not care any less.....Very poor attitude. One will not hear ' Thank you ' , ' You are Welcome ' and so on. Bussers are much nicer than waiters, maybe because they do not make the big bucks...Will not visit again.
The view of Toronto and Lake Ontario has been breathtaking. As the name suggests, the restaurant rotates 360 degrees. It is very subtle. You don't even feel the revolving movements.
I don't think the food was particularly good or bad but it wasn't really memorable; perhaps because I was captivated by the beautiful view of the city. Food may have improved as my review is not up to date. The server was attentive and friendly. You can even purchase a souvenir photo of your group dining inside the restaurant.
Price-wise, if you want to go up to the Observation Deck, it may be about the same amount of money to spend on admission plus some food elsewhere versus having access to the Deck by eating at this restaurant; especially for lunch.
Worth it for the view. The admission to the CN Tower itself is $30 and it only gives you a view with a net obstructing everything. The glass at the restaurant is completely transparent and the food is well worth it.
