By far worst restaurant in Reston Town Center! So a 1:30 reservation means 1:55, terrible. Server never asked if we wanted something to drink, so we drank water. Server was slow, never asked if we wanted desert, coffee, nothing and she came by not very much. The food was also terrible! Won't go back!

Bustling atmosphere meets friendly waitstaff meets a phenomenal cheese board. Very little not to like-- AND there's a hefty handful of vegetarian-friendly options as well! Victory all around.

Such a spectacular restaurant. If you have not experienced it, you need to do so!

The recipes are so well-balanced with they're fresh ingredients, then it always leaves me walking away amazed.

If you are in town for a visit, as a local I would certainly recommend this place. Been going there since I was a kid.

OVERALL, FOOD IS JUST OKAY. SIDE DISHES SUCK!
- Creole Oyster Stew: is way too spicy that we were not able to identify the tastes of the fried oyster. The fried oyster tastes like fried dough.
- Duck breast: it's taste is good, it's not overcooked, texture of the meat is good, but it only comes with 4 small pieces.
- Lamb shank: it's just okay.
- Side dishes: SUCK! Unexpectedly tastes bad.

INTERIOR OF THE RESTAURANT IS VERY NICE
- it's full of holiday spirit even if we went there after x'mas.

CUSTOMER SERVICE APPEAR INCONSISTENT
- the first server appeared friendly and attentive at the beginning. And then, he just disappeared. When we were ready to pay, we waited and waited and didn't see him. Therefore, we asked another server to bring us the bill. Before the second server brought us the bill, the first server suddenly showed up and asked how the food was. Weird.

Excellent seafood, excellent service. They could expand their draft beer selections, but there isn't much room for improvement. They're the gold standard for seafood and steak in the DC area.

I am only giving you all one star because I have no other way of rating you all. Overall the service was great the food plating was also nice as well. Here is the part I didn't like, they have an anonymous pet mouse that runs from one side of the restaurant to the other. When we tried to call the manger over too tell him about the problem, we tried to call him over his head was buried deep within his phone until we walked over there. Overall worse place ever!!!!

We had an excellent experience at Clyde's in the Reston Town Center. We were seated outside on the patio. Our waitress was attentive without being intrusive. She brought crayons & paper for my granddaughters to keep them busy while the food was prepared. The food was great. I especially enjoyed the crabcake sandwich. I started going to this Clyde's when it first opened in the early 90's & the level of the food & service have remained top notch. I will be back the next time I visit northern Virginia.

Despite wayyyyyy overcooking our lobster to the point of not being able to chew it.. we were given another meal, with a free dessert. I really loved the steak frites, however my friend wouldn't eat that either. I will eat here again, whereas my friend says he will be leaving a horrible review. Opinions vary.

On the Saturday night after Christmas, Clyde's had a good buzz and energy, but not so busy that it felt crowded.

There are three of us, and we got our go to appetizer of calamari. Very good. Lightly breaded and not greasy. One person got the French onion soup and liked. The other two of us got the Reuben. The meat is pretty thick and very tender. No gristle or extra fat.

Clyde's is right next to the skating and across the street from the big Christmas tree at Reston Town Center

Service was not like it used to be, waited forever for food, and waitress didn't come back to table once during wait. Also did call ahead reservations using open table, asked for outside seating only to be told AFTER arriving that OT could not be used for outside seating-then IT SHOULD SAY THIS.

Go to classic Town Center original eating establishment. Large menu with something tasty for everyone. Try the double dipped wings. Also very popular amongst the late night crowd with the bar staying open until 2am.

5 star atmosphere. 5 star service. 4.5 star food. All of the Clyde's I've been to are fantastic, and this one is no different. Situated in an upscale Reston shopping center, there are plenty shops and restaurants to entertain you. This restaurant has a fun, nautical themed atmosphere. The food is very good. I had the firebird chicken sandwich. They offer a full service bar with handcrafted cocktails. Expect to pay $30ish per person with cocktails.

Clyde's is a well-known spot but I'm not really sure why. The menu wasn't terribly exciting and the food itself was just okay considering how much it cost. The atmosphere was pleasant though. I would try it again in hopes that the food is better next time.

My family has been coming to the Clyde s at Reston for over 20 years and it has always been a favorite of ours even with the gradual decline in food quality and service over the last few years. But we ve celebrated milestones, special occasions and birthdays here for so long that we held out hoping things would bounce back eventually. Sadly tonight is the straw that broke the camel s back for us. It was by far to a baffling degree the absolute worst experience that we ve ever had in any restaurant, period. The food took extremely long to come and was inconsistent in its order - my son s entree came with our appetizer rather than all entrees coming together. The food was okay but nothing like it used to be several years ago and for the price, below average in taste and presentation and was not warm. The calamari (a longtime favorite appetizer) was very disappointing and far below average. Our waitress was so inattentive and had such an attitude to a point where it almost felt like she was completely avoiding us. We were so confused by this because in spite of the awful service we went out of our way to remain polite because having been in the industry ourselves we understand everyone has an off night. But the rest of the evening continued in this trend - just completely horrible service. We weren t mad about it so much as we were just disappointed and sad. We came in to celebrate a milestone and left feeling deflated from such a negative experience - on all cylinders. This is the last time we ll be coming to Clyde s at Reston after 20 years. It s not only not the same anymore but it was such a bad experience tonight that we re either going to a different location or finding a new family restaurant altogether. I know this is a harsh review but it s been a long time coming. We ve been loyal patrons for over two decades and it s such a shame to see what this restaurant used to be to how it is now.

Terrible front end management and service.... bar service is highly overrated and over priced to match.... restaurant service is far, but not good.... food is great if you can deal with the terrible service as a general practice at this location....

I was very very disappointed with there New Years event. I spent 200 dollars so my husband and I could attend a nice black tie event. Well the night was a bust. They did not enforce a dress code so we had people in our group go buy suits and people at the event were wearing jeans. They did not have enough servers so it took 15 minutes to even get a drink. Then to top it off they did not have enough food and ran out within a matter of minute. My husband and me were so disappointed that we left at 11 and went to drink at the hotel bar.

Had dinner here with a client for the first time and was impressed. Salmon was literally picture worthy and perfectly cooked, cant say I agree with the tomato ragu but the fish was suspended on potatoes and veggies so wasn't really touching it. Grilled swordfish can be dry but not here, delish. Fried calamari was tender, crispy and tasty. Will go here again when in the area.

5 Stars to Frasier! , a manager at Clyde's. It was my fathers birthday and Frasier helped me make arrangements for a wonderful birthday experience for my father ( I live in Michigan). After dinner my father called me and told me that Frasier and the staff were wonderful and made his birthday a wonderful experience. Many thanks to you Frasier and Clyde's! You are fine folks!
