Great atmosphere. Like going here after a long week. The bar area is great.
Great atmosphere. Like going here after a long week. The bar area is great.
Always a good place for a meeting or a quick lunch. Clyde's is a quality restaurant chain in the DMV area with good coffee, excellent seasonal dishes and fresh salads. We had an attentive waiter and even the manager came by to ask us how our meal was. Great staff, clean restaurant and quick, tasty meals. The steak was perfectly cooked.
Food is always amazing, and the service is just as good :) definitely recommend clyde's to anyone who wants delicious food and an awesome experience!
Great place to eat and drink! Loved the mezcal cocktail.
Clyde's has excellent service. Great food and atmosphere. On Saturdays during summer there is live music just outside. They also have outdoor seating which is nice. We had a great dinner.
It was OK. Its loud though in the dining area. Its your typical american menu. Nothing that stood out to me. I would go again though
An absolute RTC staple. The sweet chili is a perfect light meal and I highly recommend their steak salad. The bar area has a fantastic lunch reward card as well.
Yummy food and quick service. The atmosphere was relaxed but upscale
A meer shadow of what it once was. This used to be THE spot at the Reston Town Center, boy how the mighty have fallen.
My last visit, the whole bar area smelled of stale beer. Maybe if the bartenders cared enough to use clean towels, it would be better.
I ordered an regular Eggs Benedict. The food runner dropp it off in front of me, while bumping me, and not even apologizing. Rude!
The Eggs Benedict looked awful. The eggs were overcooked, as were the potato wedges that came on the side.
I have been a long time customer of the Clyde's Restaurant Group for years, whether at one of the Clyde's Restaurants, the Tombs, Old Ebbitt, or 1789, it always has been excellence service and food... It's really sad to see how far Reston has fallen.
All the lamps on the tables are littered with dead gnats, food was cold, crab cake was mediocre, steak was fatty, and overall service was poor. If anything the drinks were good, but overpriced.. I was disappointed with this experience more so because of the price vs customer care.
So delicious, great service always, boozy milkshakes are the best in RTC.
Fun, exciting atmosphere with good service and delicious food.
Great brunch with great service. The food was very good and our waiter attentive. What nice way to start our Sunday morning.
Good food served on outside patio on a warm evening.
Good food and service.
Similar to many other restaurants in Reston area, price not match with the portion.
Great menu selections. LOBERSTFEST time of year! Ample seating inside and out. Can't beat a 1 1/4 pound lobster dinner for $21.99. Friendly service, but they had serious problems with their credit card system. Couldn't accept our gift card and eventually ran a paper copy credit card slip after about 15 to 20 minutes of trying. Surprised they didn't comp us a dessert or drink for the inconvenience.
It's a hot or miss. Sometimes the food is amazing, other times it's average.
Ckyde's has changed over the years. Normally a date type restaurant, now full of screaming children.
The burger is what i go to Clyde's for. Cooked perfectly. Beer was cold and fresh. No conplaints.
I went because parking is free on weekends. The parking garage will kill RTC.
Love the food. Good memu for all tastes. Dog friendly! 10/10 Would go again
A nice place, casual and friendly. Parking can be a problem, especially for larger vehicles. Worth a bit of walk though. Everyone I ve taken here enjoys it.
Service was ok. They gave us room temperature water, never asked if we wanted ice. Glasses were not properly washed. Appetizer was cheese platter. Very small and very expensive. Disappointing. We asked for Guinness, beer was old. They took over 30 minutes for main dish. Meat was awful, it smelled like old meat which was reheated. Those who had fish (fried trout) had stomach aches the rest of the day. Would not come back
Something for everyone on the menu, nice variety. We enjoyed the trout parmesan and the soft shell crab. Our dining party also enjoyed their steak and the salmon burger. The truffle mac and cheese was a little runny. But using shell pasta caught the sauce. Maryland crab soup was tasty with lots of vegetables. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and accommodating even bringing a sample of the soup for me to try before ordering. It is a bit high in the noise department, and it wasn't full. Otherwise a very pleasant dinner.
Sloooooooooooow service on a Saturday afternoon. Over 45 minutes for us to get our food. Server disappeared. We were invisible to the host and other set of servers. We hadn't come here in a long time given the parking rates, but if service is this bad, why bother coming again?
I am sure this is a great place for groups, holidays and special occasions. It has a great vibe and location. Staff takes care of you as well.
However the food quality has decreased a lot! And the prices are high for the quality. A group of 5-6 can easily run for $150-200and trust me is not that wow. Despite 150-200 not being much for a group, you could great better food for less at other places. in here you are paying for the location and service.
Kids menu also needs some better options. And the burgers are not that good.
Some friends have said their other location has better kitchen and the food quality shows.
Great outdoor space and dog friendly. Indoor bar area rowing themed. Great scene.
This restaurant is fantastic! I am very pleased with David's management, and he is a great leader of the restaurant team.
The food and drinks are fabulous, and the atmosphere is lovely.
Everything about my meal was wonderful! I strongly recommend! I had the butternut squash ravioli and was very sad when it was gone. I had no leftovers.
Delicious food and drinks, great atmosphere, cool decor
I had the Reuben with grilled white bread instead of italian and it was absolutely delicious! I was with a group of 20 people and the service was magnificent! I'm from Chicago and will definitely be back to Clyde's!
Food is always good, consistent and you know what to expect. Only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is it's too noisy, people are almost yelling at one another to hear, that's consistent during any lunch hour. Otherwise, great place. Try the one in Ashburn, amazing space, food and service.
Went with a group from the office. Food was good, good service too
Busy the evening we visited. Hence, noisy and cramped. Great milk shakes! Food? Meh.
Went there for their annual Maine Lobster Feast. I do it every year. Unfortunately I don't go to Reston Town Ctr much at all since you have to pay to park and I pay to live in Reston....double dipping, my opinion.
Superb service...beautiful atmosphere and location..
Terrible Rueben sandwich!! It was microwaved..corned beef was so dry I had to remove it to eat the sandwich. The bread was very thick and I couldn t find the cheese. It also had a hint of cinnamon..as did my burger a few months ago,. I didn t complain this time..because the server was wonderful and my friend was having a lovely visit with me. But I did a few months ago! Cinnamon in a burger and a Reuben???
I may not return for our monthly visit..though it s such a great setting. So many other restaurants to choose from..
The brunch is very good, so says my date. Sadly, the brunch menu has nothing vegan. I had to order a Beyond Burger. The $4 bloody Mary's will certainly bring me back!
A Reston classic. Upscale dining, good food. It's where I take my parents and meet people for business lunches.
The huevos rancheros on the brunch menu are not the world's best: the eggs are usually overcooked and they use tortilla chips rather than actual tortillas.
Would DEFINITELY recommend!! Best seafood I've ever had. Perfect location with LOTS of outdoor seating. Fantastic service and reasonably priced.
Had the crab cake. It was pretty small but pretty good. Fries were good. Service was slow...took a long time to get our food.
Clyde's has upped its game with more locally sourced and fresher ingredients. The beef that goes into their already great burgers is grass-fed in Virginia. The Parisian burger, which I had, is even sprayed with truffle aioli. Combined with great service for our large group, Clyde's of Reston is on my culinary radar again!
It was a wonderful dinner and atmosphere but we need a better light at the table because we clean not read our menu. Thank you from your loyal costumers
Food not so good and terrible service! After taking our orders, our waitress never once stopped by to check on us, she did not refresh our water or even acknowledge we were there even though she walked past our table plenty of times. She was rude when I asked her if they still served bread. She forcefully took our plates and made our group feel uncomfortable. Talked to the manager about her lack of service and he didn't seem to care. On top of bad service, my food arrived cold and it was sub par. Not worth the price! I would suggest new management. Clyde's is not like it used to be. We could use a better restaurant in Reston Town Center!
Nothing like being lied to..I USE to take my daughter to Clydes every weekend to eat and play in the park next door. Yesterday, I was told they wouldn t seat people outside because of the Weather . Well, that was a lie. There was an arranged wedding scheduled in the park and Clydes didn t want sit anyone outside. Fair enough, but no need to lie MANAGER. Needless to say, we won t be back.
Good late night comfort food, Buffalo chicken sandwich and Raman are the best.
We had a delicious outdoor dinner with excellent service in a lovely area. I wish I had known ahead that parking in the local garages was free after a certain time. That would have been better than street parking.
This has become our go-to for Thanksgiving. With a family of various eating preferences, it just doesn't make sense to try to accommodate everyone. Yes it's more money, but no prep time, and better yet, no cleanup. Plus we order extra so we have leftovers. Not a bad deal. There were special cocktails for everyone, decent wine selections, and generally good food prep. This year the sweet potatoes weren't up to usual, and the cranberry sauce wasn't the usual jellied version, but whole berries that didn't go over well. The 3 cowboy ribeye was good, and I heard the crabcakes were too. I think the Thanksgiving plates were too. I'll get to try that tonight. The stuffing is always a hit, so we ordered extra to take home, as usual.
Happy at Clydes! Nate was our bartender and meets and exceeds what you come to expect from bartenders at Clydes. Great bartenders know its not just the service, food and drinks that make you a master of your craft, its about building relationships.
Still a favorite after all these years. This Clyde's has a more open floor plan than some others which leads to a higher noise level, but the food is still perfect and the service is excellent.
I've been to both this one and in chinatown/metro center, both amazing
Awesome experience. Steaks and burgers are fantastic.
Such a nice atmosphere. Good food, reasonable priced too
It's a very fancy restaurant and the menu is pretty simple. Ordered the ribeye but it wasn't completely to my satisfaction. Wasnt tender enough and they didnt have all the sides available. On top of that, the waiter was kind of slow in bringing our stuff.
I admire this spot! They provide decent dishes, their menu is nice, The cook in that spot is a real pro, I love very much eating all their food. The food is consistently good, the service towards the clients is very good too. I often eat in this place and I not even once was discontended. I recommend it with no hesitation.
Food was excellent. An interesting array of Brunch/ lunch choices...nice decor and ambience, if a little loud. Servings are not copious, but just right. I highly recommend the "Rice Bowl", Lobster Shepherd's Pie, and the Quiche. There are many more delicious choices. Make sure to make reservations!
A great place, except, really loud. Parking is an issue now that they charge but NO CHARGES AFTER 5PM and you get 1 hour grace. Anyway, Clyde's remains a local classic.
Usually I have a great meal at Clyde's, but tonight my steak and gratin potatoes did not seem to have much flavor. Despite the meal, the service was excellent.
Very cool little spot. The food was delicious! I had the Cuban burrito and the mix of flavors was amazing. Good quality meat as well. The people I was with had different sandwiches and they also said they were excellent. The service was friendly and it looks like they might play music in the evenings because they had a cool stage set up. I hope to go again soon.
This is one of the nicer outdoor venues and the food was reliably up to Clyde's standards.
I like the atmosphere. Lives up to expectations of other Clyde's in the area.
Good food, not too expensive and good beer selection.
Very bad stake salad, small and cost $20! This place us getting worse every year.
One of my top places for delicious American food. visited on fri i believe. the bill was appropriate. reminds me of a cafe in chicago i loved to visit.
