My daughters confidence and willingness to do maths has improved so much more than I though was possible.
She is excited to do the tutoring and really enjoys the relationship she has built with her tutor.
So glad I decided to try it out.

My experience at Cluey was great! it was my first time tutor and I believe the team did excellent, the tutor is friendly, Cluey team are always present to provide help and assist with any issues, they nice, friendly to talk to and understanding!

The service provided by Cluey is exceptional. The tutor is nice and knowledgeable and helps to prepare me for tests. My favorite feature of Cluey is how easy it is to arrange, cancel and move sessions if something comes up or I need more help. It is an incredibly flexible system and I am enjoying using it.

My son is enjoying his Cluey experience. The tutor is well matched to his personality and he is showing some improvement already.

My Year 10 child was losing confidence with Maths as a result of remote learning and a reluctance to ask the questions he needed to in order to improve his understanding. Finding Cluey via an internet search I went with the trial period and the results have been very pleasing. The one-on-one attention has made a big difference as he has gone from high 60's into the 90's with some of his tests. He has formed a good learning relationship with his tutor and is reaping the benefits. This has been critical as he needs a high level of maths competence to pursue his desired career path.

When my 8 year old daughter came home to tell me one afternoon how she had been put into the "special class" for her daily maths lesson at school I knew it was time to jump into action.
Not only had I learned that she was falling greatly behind but I could see that by leaving her friends/classmates she had lost her confidence and thought that her class teacher thought that "she was dumb".
She was really upset and just luckily I had a friend who had recommended Cluey to me when her son who has ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) was really struggling to concentrate in class and told me that the tutoring he received from Cluey had really helped him to focus through an online learning environment.

I then enrolled my daughter and am so glad I did. The teacher is wonderful
and just after 2 lessons she quickly recognized the areas where she was having trouble.
The teacher had even taught her how to read the time in just one hour! I couldn't believe it!
The teacher is really encouraging which has also regained her confidence .
Every week my daughter actually cannot wait to have her Cluey lesson and see Ashleigh her Maths teacher.
She really brings out the best in her and has even told the teacher back at school that she is too smart for that class now!
I would not hesitate in recommending Cluey and will continue to use their educational services in the future.

Our daughter struggles with English and as a result, dose not enjoy it. We saw the adds on TV and signed her up with Cluey. Our daughter was very nervous before her first session but now she looks forward to it. We also signed her up to do Math. This was done because of the extra long "Home Schooling" in Victoria and we didn't want her falling behind.
They have a great online system and it is all very easy to manage. I highly recommend Cluey Learning

I will give them credit for quickly returning a general online enquiry, but my goodness they are extremely pushy! After several calls, texts and emails while i was at work I let the rep know the service wasn't what I was after. Yet he persisted in trying to contact me. Very off putting.

Cluey has been fantastic my son has gained confidence in both English and Maths the tutors are supportive and seem to really connect.
We had a couple of issues with my lap top connecting to the first couple of sessions and support team were wonderful getting it all sorted.

They helped so much as I am in year 12 and have struggled over the years. This year has been especially hard but have helped me get extremely high marks in my subjects, I d suggest them to anyone.

I have been thoroughly impressed with how easy Cluey have made everything. I was worried about finding a tutor that would work well with my son given that he has ADHD and can be challenging to work with. But they found the perfect tutor for my son who has and organising the sessions was quick and painless. Am loving all of the information that is provided online and how transparent everything is. Thoroughly recommend Cluey to anyone thinking about tutoring sessions.

Very professional outfit with good quality tech that seems to work. Communication is good (sometimes a bit too often), but you always know what is happening. My daughter has built a good rapport with her tutor and is more confident with her maths now.

Starting using Cluey when my 16yr old son needed help with Yr 11 Advanced English and so glad I did. From the first time I made contact to organise tuition for my son, my enquiry was handled professionally and promptly. After one phone call from Cluey, my son s trial lessons were arranged at a time that suited him and all the concerns he had have already been addressed by his teacher. His teacher understands exactly where he needs help and every week the lesson report explains what was taught and how my son worked during the lesson. It has put our minds at ease to know that our son is getting real help with what he is being taught at school. I would highly recommend Cluey!

My daughter started Cluey learning after having tried other tutorial support but this one was the best fit for her. We have seen a remarkable improvement in her maths. The tutor that they selected for my daughter was a really good fit. After trying so many other options we finally found the one that suits my daughter s learning style. Very happy with Cluey. They found the perfect tutor-match for my daughter for maths. Her confidence and skills are growing, and I believe this is thanks to Emma who is kind, smart, patient and able to explain things clearly. if lessons need to be rescheduled, it is simple from the portal. This is the first year we have used Cluey and definitely pleased. Help articles are there and emails are answered in a timely fashion.

Extremely disappointing!!!

I rang and enquired regarding Cluey tutoring. I decided to go with the trial lesson. they deducted payment. I was sent a link to download a program. My computer couldn t download therefore I emailed them requesting to cancel that night as my pc wasn t able to download software.

I rang next day and was informed that I should go ahead with this trial lesson as it s not refundable. I was being cooperative..They then transferred me to their technical support to sort out my pc. They found out my pc don t have camera and microphone to receive this lesson. The person who signed me up was suppose to call me to let me know the outcome. I didn t receive call...Next day I rang and had to leave message for him to return my call...no response. I tried again next morning to speak to this person, again had to leave a message....didn t receive any response...I rang again later to speak to complains dept. Their reply to me is that I need to borrow a computer so I can have this trial lesson.

Cluey provides online tutoring service...they should have checked with me if I have the appropriate software or program before they deducted my payment!! I informed them right from beginning that I have desk top. Their technical person said most desk tops don t have cameras. This information should have been provided to consumers prior to enrolment and payments!!

I paid this trial lesson to have no service provided!!! Where is the moral in this?

Cluey has helped me to extend my knowledge on Chemistry and become much more confident with my studies. It has resulted in my being ranked #1 in my class and I have a very large range of knowledge, thanks to Cluey.

I am very happy with cluey learning.my sons tutor in the first lesson picked up his weak link and was working on it before his assessment time was up.

I had enroll 5 lesson for LANTITE preparation lesson.
The first lesson looks 'perfect'. But The following lessons is lack of experiences and can not explain things that she just taught.

However, after the first lesson, the second lesson had been reduce from 60 mins to 55 mins.

Moreover, there has another things that I think I had being trick: when the first time I called to ask the price of the lesson, (I made the recorded) and the staff mention to me that there has package for 5 lessons for 20% off. However, after my first lesson, I send an email to Cluey about the package discount, (Only been for one week from the first called) they told me that the package 5 lesson had no long available.

Furthermore, from the second I realise that things that the teacher teach has nothing relate to LANTITE exam, which I had mention and communicate on this issue to my tutor because I need some practice that relating to reading instead of something random practices. But I still trying to learn as much as I can to practice my English learning. The funny thing is, every time, when I submit my homework to my tutor, and Cluey learning also send me a confirmation about my homework has been sent. But my tutor never received it!!!!

After my third lesson, I found that my tutor resources can found online for free, after the lesson based on my research, something that tutor told me, is not right. This is not the main point, only thing make me feel disappointed is my tutor never plan her lesson toward to my lesson. Every lesson I told her about what I need, and she just told me something random. Because it is one on one, that's why I can tell deeply she never pay attention on student's need!

The reason write this review not to say bad thing about Cluey learning.
Actually, the system of Cluey learning is great.
My tutor is good but just not the right one for LANTITE test preparation.(Obviously she had never attend to ACER's LANTITE test, because she asked me if I am allow to bring my dictionary to the test )

The main reason for this review is for parents that need to take more consideration to online lesson instead of look at it because it "looks" good.

Their idea is good . Love tutoring season. Not enough practice material or some free video tutoring that I was expected wasn't there . Other thing I am not happy about is overpriced and didn't give me enough information told me 30% for first month cost me 56$ only one hour lesson. Felt like scammed. I ask them free trial but guy told me 56 $ for 4 weeks . But they keep charge me every week every session 56$ . I going to complain about your service .Don't give your card number they take your money without you notice it

Cluey Learning has helped my son increase his knowledge in English. This in turn has given him so much confidence and he is now driven to improve in all areas at school

Good tutoring, with a good range of resources they give you to do

We thought our daughter would push back on maths tutoring but she was keen to give it a go and after one session with Sarah, she was absolutely adamant that she wanted to continue with the sessions. After just two sessions we have noticed an improvement in her confidence around maths and numbers and she responded so well to a calm and patient tutor who makes maths sound and look easy. Its also very convenient, we don't have to go anywhere and we can change our sessions when we need to, highly recommend!!

My daughter had been struggling in her Maths and English since early Primary School and wanted to seek out additonal support. Cluey came up after a google search and thought in the current Covid environment an online tutor could work well. After a good chat with Jerome, we decided on who would make a good tutor for her and decided to give it a try. My daugter is excited every week to jump online to chat with her tutor and I love listening to them going through thier weekly activities. She is learning a lot and gaining a lot of confidence.

Covid lockdowns and home schooling have been hard on my Year 6 daughter, so we looked into online tutoring to help her out. Cluey Learning offered very competitive rates, with discounted introductory sessions, the choice of 1:1 or group sessions for Maths and English and flexibility around session times.
The communication from my initial contact was fantastic and within 2 days we had a schedule booked in for my daughter.
It has now been 6 weeks and I couldn't be happier with the progress she has made. Her tutors are very engaging and encourage her with her work. They post homework, which is achievable, and the platform is very easy to use.
We have only used the 1:1 sessions so far, but are looking at moving to the group sessions for the rest of the year.
I would definitely recommend Cluey Learning for anyone who is looking for extra help for their child.

Cluey Learning offers a fantastic tutoring platform. They really know how to pick the best tutor for child, and make the lessons fun and interactive.

My Y9 student has seen fantastic results from his English tutoring with an increase of 20% in his assessment marks. His tutor has been able to drill down to the specific problem areas and work on them each week until he is confident.

Cluey has been so amazing for my son. He was falling behind in Math and English and has improved so much since we started a few months ago. The lessons are tailored to what his needs are and they even work with his teachers to make sure what he is learning is relevant to what he is doing in the classroom. I cant recommend Cluey highly enough.

The team have been really helpful and easy to deal with from the start. I was unsure how to even go about tutoring with the current Covid situation, but the online portal is so easy to use. The tutors are friendly and engaging, feedback is received within half an hour of the sessions ending. The kids have shown a huge improvement and best of all they enjoy it!

My 10 year old has had a 'in person' tutor before Cluey Learning but they didn't really engage him and it wasn't effective. Our experience with Cluey has been really great for him, Melissa has really engaged him and worked with his personality so well. I think online tutoring at home worked especially well for us, its easier and the tutors are fantastic. As a result, his confidence with English has really grown. We are very happy with Cluey learning and would happily recommend them.

Our daughter has been engaging with tutors through Cluey for end of Year 11 and it has been a very positive and professional learning experience. We will be returning for Year12!

Its expensive ($80 an hour), but we have had such a good experience, and having used other tutors Ive decided you get what you pay for.

Our tutor is very highly qualified, and genuinely knows how to manage kids and inspire them. The sessions are an hour long, and our son is only 8, but he's always keen to go to the lesson and his confidence is so much higher (maths). We decided to enrol him in English too.

They say they dont reschedule, but theyre actually quite flexible and did it for us a week ahead of time. Support get back to you literally almost instantly.

Also - the tutor will provide a report after each session thats very detailed and suggests areas to work on - practice questions between sessions online are also great.

I was suspicious, Im a bit cranky and hard to please, and I was ready to be disappointed. But honestly, Cluey exceeded my expectations. What kid wants to do an hour long maths session on Saturday morning? Ours does! yay!

The Year 11 English Tutors are not qualified and lack the knowledge required to teach the HSC Syllabus, my child tried 3 different tutors ( they insisted that we keep on trying with different tutors ). But all three of them were not helpful.

They also didn't let us download their resources. If you decide to send your child here just watch out for their charging policy before you start.
It wasted so much of our time and money.

I do not recommend sending your child there. We are highly disappointed with Cluey and their services.

I contacted Cluey to help my son with HSC in the last 2 month prior to HSC, the team did all the assessments and found the best teacher for him and he found it very helpful to boost his technique and skills in the subject.

I m quite happy with Cluey learning. Like the teaching platform. My kid is very enjoying with it.

My tutor has been amazing! I ve been able to solve problems easier and more efficiently! If you struggle to untangle maths equations and making sense of at all this is the place for you! And they supply homework questions to do in your own time ! Which they can also follow up and help with mistakes !

Not helpful at all. Good concept but ridiculously over priced. Save the cash and get a just as good tutor from gumtree. Most will skype you for $20.

My daughter was already in her top class in year 9. She certainly found herself improving after having tutoring through Cluey Learning.

I was really shocked after having to home school my child just how little maths has been taught in schools lately. term and annual reports just say 'at the expected level' however i saw just how much anxiety it was causing to my child..
After signing up with Cluey Learning, they selected a tutor that could relate and assist.
The results were almost immediate with confidence and willingness to tackle maths problems dramatically improving.. The ability to now understand problems and convert them into simple equations was a problem, and is a work in progress but the improvement each week is noticeable and confidence on the increase. Cluey learning tutors have been very helpful with studying for my HSC courses Advanced English and Standard Mathematics (2 unit), with the help of their in depth explanations and assistance with understanding the topics you are learning in class.

The flexibility offered by Cluey enables me to teach while being a full-time university student and I love how Cluey s content is tailored to the needs of my students. Though the online platform can seem foreign at first, I find that the layout of the platform makes it easy and enjoyable to use. Cluey is an amazing tutoring service in which is extremely helpful to students of all ages. I m currently in year 12 and have been using Cluey s service for English. Suddenly faced with the demands of year 11 English, our child went from near top of the class to near bottom in the space of a term. Their one-on-one classes and friendly, intelligent tutors will be of great assistance to giving your child the boost they need.

Have tried tutoring like North Shore previously. While it worked for two of my kids, one of them benefited from the 1 on 1 service that Cluey offered. Have tried it for about 1.5 months. Very happy and watching the video of the sessions I can tell my child is happy too. Our tutor Debra is great!

The quality of the tutoring sessions are amazing. I was matched with Troy and have had no issues studying maths concepts for Lantite. As an adult, I thought it would be weird and uncomfortable being tutored but I have had the opposite reaction. My tutor has been encouraging and it has helped increase my confidence to pass my maths exam.

My child is very happy with the tutor. She has struggled with mathematics for last few years and I have tried other avenues. We find it easier to access a real person live and available without travelling further than the loungeroom.

I m a tutor with Cluey and have had a positive experience working with the team for over a year now. My 10yr old has really benefited from his Cluey tutors. At first he was very shy but now I overhear how comfortable he is with them and his school teachers have commented how he s so much more confident in his school work. We only started this term 3, end of term 2 he was just scraping by with a C but when term 3 finished with Covid involved his school advised if they had just 2 more weeks he would have a B. Before he d not be interested in any informal practicing on spelling or maths but now he happily participates. I m actually really sad we will change tutors next year as I m sure he is, but I m confident we will have amazing ones next year also.

Never thought my son would love learning Math, and Cluey has helped this to happen. Tutor (Michael) is receptive, child-centred and has taken the effort to 'get' my child's leaning style. Very happy!!
