Super basic, not the cleanest and not a comfortable stay. Falsely rated four star so I was hoping for a better experience.... personally I d prefer to stay at a Quality In or similar if I had a choice between the two. Friendly staff, good location, but I wouldn t stay again.

Perfect location, nice lounge section with some free food and drinks. The rooms are a little dated and on the small side but if you can get past this, its a great place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely Amazing!! Of course nothing is perfect but managers are very on top of being sure that all guests are happy and accomodated. The rooms may be small but Club Quarters is in the big cities, what is the need to stay in your room? It was also located perfectly! We easily got around and were able to enjoy the city. Club Quartes will always be my first choice of hotels whereever I go!!! And I reccomend them to everyone!

Stayed twice over the course of 4 years. First time had an excellent room, this time we were missing a mini fridge and microwave. Our friends who paid the exact same amount as us had all the amenities. Not a huge deal but just would have been nice not to have to use their fridge 2 floors up. love the bar attached to the hotel and the lounge was nice.

OK average hotel small rooms. The beat part is the location is heart of the city and easy to walk around considering Boston is small and walker friendly city. This can only be a budget and need stay hotels not a luxury. They have free refreshments. Coffee tea and sodas with snacks etc

Had to stay here for work. Great location, close to Government Center and the North End (walked there in 15 minutes). The rooms are small, cramped, and not well updated, but I don't think people stay here to be inside all day, anyways. Not a lot of amenities in the rooms - wouldn't stay here if I was coming for a vacation.

A typical Club Quarters hotel in a converted office building. A couple of blocks off Washington Street, so the location is not bad, but the immediate neighborhood is office buildings. Rooms a little shabbier and not as clean as other hotels in the chain. Street noise means you will wake early in the mornings. Wifi is good. An adequate hotel but nothing special, better for businessmen than tourists.

Staff was very friendly and were quick to provide recommendations for restaurants and sights. Room was pretty small, I wouldn't recommend it for a couple or family but it worked well for me on my business trip. Fill station for bottled water was a nice touch and I always had plenty of hot water. My main criticism revolves around the kiosk system that they use for check-in and check-out. The check-in process didn't work well at all and I required the assistance of staff. CQ should rely upon their friendly staff to handle the process rather than a lifeless kiosk!

Excellent location close to State Street station and Quincy Market. Free coffee and espresso in the lounge downstairs as well as computer access. Rooms are small and older, with extremely limited space in the shower, walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors. The place is clean and comfortable though, and service is excellent.

So they got a few things that stand out from other hotels. Instead of having pre bottled water they have this awesome filter dispenser and allow you to fill your own bottle or one of their own. Super awesome. Also they have AMAZING water pressure. Their showers do.not.suck. good on ya!

The beds are terribly uncomfortable (think: old school 1980s spring mattresses- Agh!) Generally, the staff are quite friendly, nice and helpful The rooms are okay, nothing fancy but clean and livable. The beds are super uncomfortable though... I thought it strange a queen sized bed only has 2 pillows but we're able to get more when we asked for more. Smart TV in the room is super convenient! Amazing concept, of a shared water filter and free water bottles to refill and take and use as you wish... So thoughtful and conscientious!
Oh, there's an Elephant And Castle Pub attached -standard but good English Pub food.

Good location in Boston. Staff is courteous, however bed is VERY uncomfortable and cleanliness of the room was questionable upon arrival. My husband and I were very surprised by this as when we booked the hotel it had great reviews.

My rating is more like 3.5 stars judging quality alone!

GPS/Google map users be careful, even though the hotel's entrance and address are on devonshire, the GPS takes you to the hotel's restaurant on Arch street in the back where there are no clear signs that you arrived at the hotel and it seems like there's no clear path from here to the lobby but i didn't try. Overall, the hotel is clean and nice. Friendly staff in the small lobby. Lost first prepaid night due to canceled flight to Boston because of a bad storm in Boston (several inches of snow and heavy rain later as i was told). Unfortunately, when called by me and Expedia, the hotel did not want to be flexible on their nonrefundable policy even though i was staying for 3 additional nights!

Otherwise, the room was clean but the shower and bathroom are tiny. I didn't hear much noise even though my room was situated across the elevators. Nice modern TV with a clean signal. The fitness club is OK but the equipment are very outdated! I've seen much better treadmills and ellipticals in lesser quality hotels! I didn't like that the entry door to the fitness room did not have a window to the outside hallway. Fitness room opens at 6 AM and closes at 9:30 PM.

Best feature of the hotel is the lounge area behind the lobby where you can grab quality espressos and their derivatives like cappuccino, lattes and the such in addition to fruits and snacks. Even cold sodas are offered for free!

I would certainly stay here again but i would not make my reservation until the last minute and it wouldn't be prepaid!

The staff is great, a few unusual extras like bottled water dispensers on every floor, snacks & a nice espresso machine, happy hour wine, etc. Rooms are nothing great but certainly a value considering other hotels in the area. Great location.

Tiny room, even smaller bathroom. Inconvenient access from street with 2 doors and a tight corner making it difficult to navigate with luggage. Others staying here didn't look happy either. Would never stay here again, there are much better options.

Boston was amazing with lots of wonderful history to learn. It made us thankful to be Americans. Club Quarters was the cornerstone of this terrific time in Boston. Staff treated us with excellent service and a beautiful room.

Excellent location in the Financial District.

Excellent location in the Financial District.

The hotel rooms were neat and clean, very efficient but a little on the small side. This, however, was not a problem for any of our party, as we were mostly in Boston for the sight seeing, not to be in the hotel room. Time spent in the room was great, the black out curtains are incredible, all plugs were conveniently located, and the room service from their restaurant on the bottom floor was excellent. Arrived quickly, food was hot and delicious and a real treat after driving for 3 hours. Staff was helpful and friendly when needed. Bathrooms clean (exfoliating soap was wonderful to use!). I would absolutely stay at this location again and have every intention of trying Club Quarters in other cities I visit for the right price.

Parking in the area IS an issue, we paid for valet, was pricey, however worth it to avoid the hassel in my opinion.

The hotel gets two stars at least for the drink and snacks, plus the close proximity to easy transit. Some of the employees are nice too. Crazy how they charge you for water in the room but they give you filtered water for free . Our first night here we noticed an itch we both started getting after laying in the bed. Tonight is the 3rd night and we are itching even more we noticed. My hubby had bite marks on his neck. I'll post the pics later. Then our tv wouldn't work, called the front desk for help and noone came till we called for the 4th time. When the maintenance did arrive, the guy had a bothered tone in his voice and told us we may have to SWITCH rooms.....AT 12:30AM! Then he said he was going to tell someone and that was the last time we saw him. It's 1:32 and nothing. The top bed cover sucks. Blow dryer stopped working! Coffee machine makes lukewarm coffee. No safe. Tiny rooms. If you're staying for one day, then this is an ok place but other than that no, just no. Beware of invisible bugs because thus far, we both have bites but have no idea from what.

Great location within walking distance of major historic sites and shopping. Not far from Boston Common to watch the fireworks on July 4th. Very nice rooms, quiet and modern (the 1009 with fridge sink and microwave), coffee maker. Taken to charge phones. Nice welcome with M & ms, sodas and water self service (my daughter really enjoyed). Free impressions at the appointment behind the loby Free access to the computer and direct if you have the iPhone. Very good hotel and nice pub where we ate well

The rooms are on the small side and have a dorm feel. There is a yoga mat in the room but there is not really room to lay it down. There is a pub attached to the very small lobby. Service was fine but not great.

Nice hotel, good location. There was construction nearby at 10p, and the coffee machine was out for a day. The rooms are on the smaller end, but everything is updated. The staff was very nice. Room service (ordered dessert) took about an hour to make it to the room. And the beds were not fairly small. It was a great price, which makes up for shortcomings. But I'd probably check the area for somewhere a bit nicer.

The employees where really friendly, the room was spacious and those pillows, damn they were comfortable. I really liked my stay, however there was an emergency in the middle of the night, we were never given explanation about what happened and even though we were sent back to our room, the alert message was started again 10-15 minutes later... So it wasn't a great night sleep.

Location wise you can't beat this hotel. The perks are so many. Refillable water stations at every floors. Snacks and an espresso machine in the lobby. Great staff and an excellent pub downstairs called Elephant Castle.
