Club Med Resort, Bintan Island Review

An Awesome place to relax and enjoy the beautifully surrounding. No regret at all..staff were great and cheerfull food was there at all times.A great experience.Will be back. Cheers.

Overall this was a great place to visit. The hotel looks beautiful, the rooms where very comfortable and the staff where excellent.

In need of a bit of a renovation and touch up but i had such an amazing time. The environment, staff and activities are top notch and the beach is stunning. Highly recommend doing the snorkelling, circus(trapeze) and mountain bike riding. Many great friends were made on our trip with the staff and fellow guests. They certainly do make it sad to leave!

Great club, great activities, great location... love it

Loving sun, sand, sea, sports. This is a place to go. Friendly staff made the pleasant experiences. Room is not so great as you should be staying out to enjoy all experiences provided by the resort.

The facilities are perfect and the staff are cordial and courteous!

Love the activities they have for kids. Amenities and room looks old and sad. Not what I would expect from Club Med. A little disappointed.

The Service is really Good and the hospitality of the bellboys are pleasant. The bellboys are strong because they even can carry the heavy luggage. The system of the hotel is really unique and so different with the other hotel that i ever been. The manager also friendly and almost always be there when we Gm arrived and departing from the hotel.

The view is good, the hotel employees are very frendly, many have outdoor activities for Kids, especially if you come to the SPA for treatment, Best already

It is smaller than the Phuket Kume but it is compact and I liked it. I like swimming in the swimming pool and going to the private beach next to the sea to swim in the sea. The water depth of the beach is not too deep, and the waves are so good that the children are very nice. There is no gravel. But there are tar oil residues that are pushed into the beach and settled in the sand. Remove the towel exchange oil remover immediately. If dried, it will not be cleared. Free drinks are available on the beach. All in all, I can eat and sleep at all. I think it is too hard for me to find the main event.

My husband and I visited Club Med Bintan Island for a 5 night stay from 31st Aug 2018 . This was our 4Th Club Med resort and as always had an amazing time there. The location of the resort is stunning with a private beach, beautiful blue sea with white sand.
The transfer from ferry terminal in Singapore to Club Med Bintan was hassle free and smooth.
Our room was in V block. It was spacious and clean. Though it was far from main reception area, it was very peaceful and quiet and had a short cut to the beach. The housekeeping team would leave wonderful towel art in the room every day. Wifi in the room was available.
The food at the Terrace restaurant was varied ,catering to all tastes various cuisines like Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indonesian, Indian a special kids corner and of course yummy desserts. It was wonderful to meet Indian chef Dev, whom we had earlier met at club med Bali in 2017. It was like meeting a long lost friend. The waterfall restaurant was also very nice with a sea view. Free flow of all sorts of drinks , juices, cocktails all day long. Variety of snacks were also there at the bar .
Kudos to the GO s of the resort. They were practically everywhere . Greeting with a smile every time.
The best thing about the resort is you can choose if you want to laze around the beach and have a quiet holiday or participate in the day long fun filled activities.
Variety of entertainment every night performed by the staff glow party was wonderful. We had our faces painted with glow colours. And I would like to specially mention Hera. She would sing in the bar in the evening and at times during entertainment programmes at the theatre also. She has amazing voice and is a wonderful singer.
Aris, who looks after sports was also very friendly. He and Hera joined us for meals and would chat with us whenever we met them.
Had a really wonderful time. Thank you Club Med Bintan for a memorable holiday.

2nd time to Bintan Club Med. Would rate this the worst Club Med amongst Bintan, Bali and Phuket. Used to be a warm experience with the GOs making you feel welcomed. The Gos are almost non-existent this time round. Food was ok with the speciality restaurant s food very poor. It s not worth queuing up at 7am to book a place! Asked to see the village chief to speak with him but it fell on deaf ears. Some of the service staff were rude to the point as if they do not care.
On the flip side, had great weather with the wind constantly blowing with great views. Shame about the club med experience

Much better and newer then cherting. Too bad its raining most of the time at this season. Same usual high standard of food, drinks and warmth. My 7yo daughter loves the mini club.

My second time staying in Club Med after last year in Phuket and loved it so much!

Everything is nice and well organized food at all times of day, activities and lots of free drinks. However I tried to buy sun screen from the resort shop and it cost 25 USD for a tiny tube of it which put a bad taste in my mouth.

Food and drinks are nice. The rooms are nice too. The sports amenities, though, are a little underwhelming, and the weather can be quite irritating here too.

It was our second visit to a Club Med but our first stay at Club Med Bintan and we had such a great time it was really sad to have to leave.There were so many activities to do that we never got bored. The golf guys were great - and helped us improve our swing to the point where we could fairly consistently hit the ball well. We also had a few hits of a squash ball and a go at archery. However, a lot of time seem to be spent at the main area of the resort, with the bars, the beach and the pool. The holiday was just amazing and there is just so much to say so I apologies if I have missed anything.

Beach is very good where the sand is very fine and the deep of the water is suitable for family members to play around. The food on the hotel is delicious and have many different choices. This was the third time I came there and I believe I will come back later.

First Club Med experience for us. Top class way to relax. Taken good care of from arrival to departure. Now to decide which Club Med destination is next...

Just a 45 min ferry ride from Singapore this is a Very Nice place to take the family. Club med is the go to resort for all inclusive family vacation. Its a cruse on land they take the kids keep them occupied. You relax get a massage do various activities and that's that. Bintan island has beautiful beaches but be a wear the surf is rough and swimming is often limited to the pools. It can rain quite a lot during rainy season but activities are easily moved inside and good times are generally had by all as the sun manages to polk out for awhile each day. The food is not bad for western and Asian tastes every meal had kid friendly and vegetarian selections too. Plenty of fresh fruit and veggies low and no sugar though no artificial sweeteners so if you want coke zero bring your own.
Cons. It was a bit run down. just a tiny bit of polish and this place could be spot on. Tropical island paradises need Paint every day to keep them looking new! update bathroom fixtures, especially the main building Japanese style bidet heated toilets would make it seem more like a resort. The high end rooms need to be more high end than economy suites fit finish and services makeup that difference like offering Baby sitting and exclusive dining for two or midnight couples massage. This would make it a 5 star review. I'll go again but I'd love if someone would get smart and work out what you could do with this club...

This is the place to go if you want to relax, recharge with variety of exercises, eat, and enjoy some time with your spouse when your kids are taken care of by the hotel.

Public areas are lovely but the bedrooms need a lot of attention. So many stairs to climb to get to the bedroom we had with no real direct route

Because of the customer service and all of the activity s that they do with the kids.

It was very good the food and the service and the activities was just as good

Good place for holiday. Everything is inclusive. Rooms are a little old. Location is right beside the beach.

Great activity, kids and teenagers clubs are must be. But buffet is normal quality.

It's fun to have a variety of activities. Geos are overflowing with enthusiasm. I am so excited and kind, and I am very fond of you. Thanks to the chief ministers and other geographers, I had a happy and enjoyable vacation. It is a place where both children and parents are happy. Sun, Eugene, Sophie, Sofia, Ginny .. I am impressed with the kindness of the Korean Geo people and the delightful Aqua Robot of jayrate geo. I like Bintan Club Med!

Chefs de village Mr. Jona and the whole team of ClubMed Bintan....from the GOs, to all the service crew members have put up a fantastic experience for us. We truly enjoyed our holidays here from the beach, to live shows food selections. Even though it was just a 3 days 2 nights stay, we were thoroughly well rested. Will definitely come back again! Resort with the most beautiful beach on Bintan Island

Nice place for hangout and spend holiday with you family. Expensive worth it. There was all physical activities for kids and adult.
Out side of resorts you can't find anything.
Beach are too good.
They will offer unlimited food and drink all the time.

Perfect for beach lovers, amazing surf and top service from all the staff especially food, room cleaning and body & soul program. The chief of the club Yousef is amazing with bags of energy that invigorates all the "GO's" to perform at their best. Best stress relief place for the whole family.
