Clawson Honda of Fresno Review

Excellent experience! It was my first time there and I left with a car. I had the help of Mercedes and she was absolutely amazing! So friendly and helpful. She found me the exact car I was looking for! It seems some places just want to sell cars, but here it felt as though they were helping find a car that was right for me. Very thankful for the rest of the staff that was willing to go above and beyond to make everything work out for me.

i went today for my first oil change for my new honda, they didn't take my business because they were overloaded with work, i had to take my car to other shop, How long could take to change the oil to my car? I'm disappointed.

The staff was very friendly and respectful. The salesperson Debbie was very professional and was never forceful just providing me with all the info I need.

Sold me a new 17 accord exl v6. Bought another civic ex today! We also got Engine and Transmission for life protection. We shopped everywhere and couldn't find the lifetime protections anywhere else.

I went in there terrified of my cars problem and possible cost! They reassured me that they would take great care of me. They found the problem and luckily it was under warranty. They also fixed all of the problems that were under recall. Even the problems I wasn t aware of. They were efficient and timely. Bud Bailey , supervisor of the parts department, greeted me personally and ensured the best care. Clawson staff are the friendliest in town. Their dedication to their customers, their expeditious service, and manageable pricing make them Second to None for the Honda owners. They truly make you feel one of the Family ! We are very disappointed to visit Clawson Honda of Fresno. Sales department, 3 of them were acting and one of them (Jose) they are trying to make money from you as they can, even the way like a Clown unprofessional and not recommended if you want to buy a Honda car from them. specially They keep changing the deals in the same time and then they go ask the manager and they never went to ask . Just drama in dealership location.

Liars being purchasing new cars every 5 years for the last 22 years took my son in to purchase his first car for 2 weekends they filled him with lies and no car. Walked into selma automall and within 1.5 hours he got a better new car and was treated like a human been and not like a child thanks selma honda

If I can leave 10 STARS I would! Jesse and Ralph were absolutely knowledgeable, respectful, friendly, and accommodating. Let's be honest folks ... no one likes to spend their day at a dealership and feel like they're being pushed around. My husband came in on a Thursday afternoon, happened to be the last day of November, Jesse and Ralph introduced themselves and at no given time did they say "what can we do today to get you into a Honda". They simply gave us the numbers and if we didn't like it I was honest and said no. They actually made the entire experience fun ... thought you'd never expect anyone saying that about a dealership right?!? Stick with Jesse and Ralph ... well, Clawson lol ... But I appreciate those two guys for being upfront and respectful!

The only star they get is for having the car, but that's it , they get a for running my credit with 15 places after I told them to call CRB Auto. Thanks for running my credit down and it showing up on my credit report bad.

I'm extremely frustrated and upset at Clawson Honda!!!

4 years ago: Reasonable service adviser and great technical diagnostics

Updated 2018. Things have changed. A couple of years ago. Took my van in for worn engine mounts. Was told they all have to be changed at a price tag of $2500. Went next door to a top tier mechanic, only $900, as only one was torn and damaged, which has worked for several years now. Same thing again, took my SUV in for AC problem, was told $2700 to changed to whole AC system. "the whole system is contaminated". Took it next door to a top tier mechanic $950. Worked well for a years and sold the car later with it still working well. This morning went in for parts, they didn't even stock all the wiper blade inserts for my CRV. What's up with that? This is suppose to be the Honda dealer. My guess is management has changed. Still says Clawson, maybe senior retired. Who knows?

My husband and I were traveling cross country on our motorcycles and we stopped to get gas and upon our return our motorcycle would not start! It was hot and we were traveling all day. We had our bike towed to Clawsons from Selma, 30 minutes out, and from the start their care and service were fabulous! They felt like family from the take in process to settling up! Highly recommended

Went there today and tried to deal with them for a 2018 Civic Si. The first gentleman that helped us out was great and pretty helpful. Once we got to talking about pricing though and one of the sales managers was brought out it changed entirely. Not only were they clearly not willing to deal the manager was rude the entire time and refused to listen. I gave him a hard number that was my final offer and they still wouldn't budge. So finally I got up and walked out and said "If you change your mind, call me back and you'll have my business." The manager just looked at me and said "I won't call you back." ....Yeah real family owned vibe you got goin there bud. Would never recommend buying a car from here and even if they call me back tomorrow with a better offer I'll be tempted to tell em no just because of how rude and arrogant that guy was. Congrats you guys just lost a sale....... Update 2/11/14- So I was car shopping a few months back in Nov. you were among the first car dealerships I went to and I can still say it was by far the worst experience. Oh and I did take my
business elsewhere and got the same car from Visalia Honda. Speaking of whom, were actually extremely helpful and not pushy arrogant salesmen. I'll probably be buying cars from them in the future, all i can say is i'll never be going back to Clawson. Congrats on losin a 24k sale...... Also my Si is pictured below like the day after I picked it up, pretty sure Visalia traded you guys for it too so i hope that feels as good as reading this review.

I will not be returning here. I've been paying $45 for oil changes here for years. Today, I paid over $70 for an oil change. This would be fine if they told me about the recent hike in price before my oil change. Additionally, I was told the wait would be under an hour. I was out in 90 minutes. I got hustled. You guys lost a paying customer. I hear Juffy-Lube is quicker and cheaper.

My Parents were interested in the Honda CRV and Antonio Juarez assisted us in a very professional manner. He was able to give us a great deal on the CRV and give us a great deal on our trade in. And the sales manager Michael Delao was very polite and professional and came out and introduced himself and said if any issues call me. We had a great experience and will refer our friends and family with confidence. Thanks Clawson Honda for making my parents happy!

Here at Clawson Honda in Fresno. Right from the start....no pressure approach, I like that. Just a willingness to help and answer any questions I had....and I had a lot.
Charvon Srey was the sales associate that the opportunity to help me, a knowledgeable professional that had his hands full dealing with me. I had tons of questions and needed to look at everything on the vehicles. A couple of test drives later and coming to an agreement on the price (I crunched the numbers), we made the deal. Srey was excellent on relating my concerns, needs, and wants to the sales manager, and made it happen.

Clawson Honda of Fresno did a great job of helping us get a great new car at a great rate! We came in to look at a used car, and left with a new one. They dealt with us fairly and negotiated in a way that was productive and beneficial to both parties, without that slimy used car feeling you normally get at other dealerships. Our Salesperson, Jackie was really terrific and knowledgeable... I would definitely ask for her! Frank, her manager, did everything he could to make our experience a very positive one. Even the Finance Manager was not over the top trying to upsell us. The tech guy was very knowledgeable and helped us again, the next day, when we came in with more questions. I would definitely buy through Clawson Honda again.

I went to Clawson Honda to trade in my Chevy Malibu for a Honda Accord I was helped by Renae in sales and Maria in Financing they were excellent at explaining everything to me from hooking up Bluetooth and new features of the car to what coverage on insurance and when my payment will be due. I have never had such a great experience at a car dealership before, I am in love with my Honda Accord I should have bought one sooner what a great car

I have been buying my cars from Clawson for about 2 years now and purchased 2. I absolutely love doing business here. My sales person was Rachael and she is amazing to work with. I will always purchase my vehicles from Clawson Honda Of Fresno!

I leased a car from there in October 2017, there was a big scratch on the driver's door and on one of the plastic parts outside of the car. I was told that I would be called back and get it fixed within a week. 2 weeks passed and no call. I called them 3 times and left messages and still no response. 2 more weeks pass and until I left messages with the general and service managers did I get a response. They fixed the issues in 2 days and said that I would get a call from the Sales manager to address the slow service times. 1 week has passed since this and I still haven't received a call from the Sales manager. This company seems to only care about getting you to sign the lease/purchase, they will also make promises they will not keep and you will have to be on them to fix things that they should taking care of on their own. Please consider a different dealer.

Mr. Jacob Arriola was the best sales associate I've ever come across! Very patient, transparent and most importantly, nice! He did a very thorough walkthrough of the Civic and found out some cool perks in the process. When it came to the sit down, he explained everything that was going to happen and even suggested certain things to add to the purchase. My family and I will definitely buy from him so if you're in the market to buy a Honda, make sure you go to Jacob!

I purchased a car here a couple years ago and I took it in recently to trade it in for a new one. They were offering me very little compared to what they sold it to me for. I asked the guy why & he pretty much said take it or leave it so I went to buy a Toyota instead. The Toyota dealer gave me $2000 more than what Honda was offering me. Honda has lost a customer for life thanks to Clawson Honda

Poor communication. Made and appointment for an airbag recall service. Upon arrival to the appointment, they informed me that they will inspect and may have to order the part if necessary. I was also told it would take up from 3 to 4 hours, but it took five hours before I got a call about my vehicle being ready for pick up. When I went to go pick it up I was told to sign a paper and was given the receipt. When they said it was ready for pick-up. I assume that the full repair service was complete.

A day later, I get a voicemail regarding my car. They stated that a part they ordered came in and is ready for have my car repaired. I was so confused. I understood that everything was completed when they called me and stated my car was ready for pick up, but no one communicated or confirmed that I have to return at a later date when I went to pick up my vehicle. This place is nice and friendly, but there was horrible communication and lack of consideration of my time.

Went in today as a walk in to have my oil changed. Job was done quickly and all staff was helpful and friendly. Clarice greeted me when I got there and was especially nice and made for a great experience. Thank you!

My family and I absolutely love Clawson Honda! We have always gone here because it is our family's most trusted car dealership. We got a 2004 Honda Accord, a 2003 2-door Honda Accord, and a 2014 Honda civic from Clawson Honda and we always seem to come out happy! My family and I have already worked with most of the employees at the dealership and from what we experienced, they are all very welcoming and genuine people. They really strive to make your experience there worth it and make sure you leave with what you were exactly looking for. Overall, I recommend coming here because you won't be disappointed! :)

Dulce is AWESOME!!! Everyone was so great to us and we left with a new car. Except the finance guy is extremely pushy and pressures you intensively to get extended warranty. I do not appreciate that. "No its okay" shouldve sufficed. Second time too. But pressuring till they say yes is BS.

As a military spouse we are constantly traveling/moving and this has been one of the worst Honda s I ve ever been to, from attitude to services. Will not be returning to this location. Literally did not care what my concerns were about.

Purchased a used vehicle from them and they sold me a car with only one set of keys. They stated to me that they would let me purchase a 2nd set for $100. I have called their sales manager Jimmy multiple times to schedule an appointment to get a set of key and never have this issue resolved. Don't buy a used car from these guys or buy any vehicles from Jimmy

On July 31st, 2020 I took my mother in to purchase a car and Josue did an outstanding job helping us find the perfect one. He was very patient and did not pressure us at all. He took all the time needed to show us multiple cars and made sure my mother was completely satisfied with her choice before moving forward. It was very hot that day and he did extra by making sure we had nice cold water the entire time we were there. He led us to Maria in financing who went above and beyond to make sure we knew exactly what we were signing. She was very patient and kind and took all the time needed to answer all of our questions. I had got a vehicle here in 2016 then traded this vehicle in for a new car this year a 2019 Honda and I was told I was going to not owe anything but yet for the last months since August I told the person that sold me the vehicle online it s showing my car is still being charged. I spoke to them and the issue never gets resolved. I ve been telling them for months and spoke to HONDA financial services they said HONDA themselves has to handle the situation and speak to them but instead I keep getting told it should be paid instead of them fixing the situation which is also affecting my credit every 30 days

I usually never write reviews but this is an exception. The service at Clawson Honda has been the best that I've experienced! The staff are always friendly and they treat and provide you service as if you're they're only customer. I took my car in a couple times, for my AC unit to be serviced under warranty, and the technicians and representatives are very transparent about their job and inform me of the work that they have done. Which as someone that likes keep tabs on their car, is a very reassuring thing. This past visit in particular I was quite overwhelmed with their customer service. I took my car in because of a strange whine that was present while driving. To make a long story slightly less long, a costly repair that I would have to pay out of pocket got covered under warranty! I have to personally thank Marcy (or Marci), for getting this done. She has been the most helpful, caring, and amazing representative that I've worked with at any dealership, bar none. I can't put into words how grateful I am for the efforts that she puts in to help the customer out. If you ever need service on your Honda, come to this dealership! They will take care of you here.

For starters, just want to say My wife's & My Experience was basically as good as it could've been. Myra & Jacob were Extremely patient, friendly, & Jacob seemed to be very knowledgeable! The Only complaint I/we had, was having to wait. We were there from 2 pm until approximately 9 pm! We were very hungry, but had to wait a while because of various people ahead of us & apparently the financing department was backed up? Fortunately for us, Jacob was stayed with us & seemed to be an all around friendly individual. Wouldn't be surprised, if 1 day soon, he made Management! Anyway, the Honda personal patiently worked with us & we left Hungry, but Very Very Happy with the end result. Thank you Honda!
