I have worked with several recruitment agencies in London and I would say Claibon is by far one of the best in the Property Management and Services field. Whether you are in between jobs or looking to make a bit extra, they have loads or temping opportunities as well as great permanent roles. The staff are excellent and very helpful.

Had a poor first-hand experience the first time I visited Claibon.
They where so busy and hardly had time to talk to me. Since then I ve been impressed with the communication and interviews arranged. Now I use them to cover my staff s annual leave and sickness.
Communication is first rate and the level of cover provided to date has been exceptional. Thanks you Tracy and the team.

few years ago went there to apply for a job advertised for 10 quid an hour,when i got to the interview and was given the details of the job and location turns out that the real pay was 8 pound something......so yeah, expect that. as for job offers, only got a few after half a year from signing with them. but i guess the lower pay you are willing to accept the more jobs you might get

Applied for so many roles, no reply at all, when you call the land line receptionist picks up and quote verbatim "takes 5 days" otherwise "you won't hear from us", no chance to speak to consultant at all. I hope they take candidate seriously as people do apply for job with all seriousness.

DONT BOTHER... They cleary have staff who are not trained to a professional standard nor understand how to speak in a appropriate manner towards people over the phone. I received a nasty tone of attitude and im glad i didnt waste my time to continue dealing with them considering when apparently theyre offering short term jobs with low pay. Dissapointing

A friend recommended Claibon to me since he had already been working with them, since started the company I started working with them, and in fact I was very comfortable, I never lacked money when it came to collection, which is the most important thing. 2) They won't cover any transport costs, so one day you might be working 5 minutes away, next day you might be 5 miles away where the first two hours of your shift is paid directly towards your travel. Sometimes you'll be sent to handover shifts that last two hours and that entire two hours goes on to your travel.
3) Their clients give Claibon feedback on all temps that they take on, yet NONE of this feedback ever comes back to us as the employees. How am I supposed to improve the service I provide if I am not told how it could be improved? Even if it is anonymous, I would appreciate hearing something...
4) They won't search for a permanent position for you much. There are plenty of reviews on Google of this company trying to lure you in to temporary work and keep you there as long as possible, which is true. They will happily keep you on temporary work forever and it's mostly up to you to look for and apply for permanent positions; they won't submit your CV for you and if they do, they won't ask you about it, they'll just do it, even if you don't want it.
5) If you try to apply for a job that they feel you are not 'suitable for', they may not reply at all, or if they do, they won't give you any reasoning or suggestions and you might find you have to look at other agencies and positions yourself. Your CV and how well you can do the job are two very different things.
6) They call from a private number which is EXTREMELY annoying. Not only do I not know if it's them or a spam caller, but I can't call them back directly when I miss the calls. I'll often just ignore them anyway.
7) Some staff at their office can have bad attitude issues, including Claire Gibbons herself. Look on Google Reviews for further confirmation of this.
8) No preference to have staff email you with things like temporary job offers. They always call, even when you're currently working, from that annoying private number, which is inconvenient. I should be able to specify my preference.
9) No web based scheduling system; all details are sent in emails, so if you're doing a lot of different temporary work at different places, it's up to you to organise yourself and scan through your emails for the right info.
10) In 99% of cases, the info they send you in the emails is scarce, outdated and overall appalling. Honestly, it's disgusting. For example, one description was "Concierge role - hover hallway". Other times it'll be "In construction, only 1 resident" when the entire building is occupied. Half the time the phone numbers are wrong too, and they never specify exactly what break you have to take, however, ALWAYS ENSURE TO TAKE SOME if you do this work yourself. Remember it's 20 minutes per 6 hours by LAW. They don't care if you get your break or not, but will kill you if you're late.

Brilliant to work for, always available for support and lovely locations.

They can help you in various sectors within property services. Work was always available and for the most part it was always reasonable travel. Easy to sort out pay, always call you back and keep you in the loop. Overall I would definitely return to them again.

Utter waste of my time and money going to register with this recruitment agency. Went in December 2019 and never heard anything from them after. Was supposed to meet one consultant and ended up with someone else which isn t professional one bit. Company seems unorganised and they never get back to you

Working for Claibon gave me a very good start as a concierge. I've worked with few agents, depending on a location they sent me to. They have lots of job offers around. When I needed time off , agents always respected that. Thanks to variety of places I've been sent to, I could determine what would be the best for me. And it happened. I recently started with Claibon, I must say I am impressed with the girls in the office very helpful and happy just the right attitude specially for a concierge/porter who s having a bad day calling the office and speaking to staff definitely helps , they listen and act immediately if you re looking for a good company to start look no further!

In the middle of pandemic I have applied for a job that was advertised by Claibon. I was soon contacted by Tracy who has listen to me patiently and soon after offered me a job interview in residential sector. After first unsuccessful interview Tracy was persistent in finding me a role that would both suit me and my employer. I had went for an interview first week of January, it's now 4th February and i have had no response. I had sent an email 4 days after the meeting for feedback on suitability for two vacancies and the recruitment officer has not replied.

Bare in mind I have 15 years experiance in a 5 star 301 bedroom/ 47 executive apartment London hotel, 2 years of which as a Sales and Marketing Exec and 7 years as a Head Concierge so I am not that inexperienced, the recruitment officer has not had the decency to let me know what has happened.

I would not recommend Claibon based on my experiance; there are plenty of other agencies out there catering to the private property sector.

I would like to especially thank Claire Gibson and the Claibon Recruitment team for giving me this opportunity, my experience so far has been very pleasant since I joined the company last month.I have already covered luxurious 5 stars buildings in Central London and, the travel distance was short and they always call and send me emails for shifts.

I worked as a temp Concierge with Claibon Agency whilst I was working as a Hotel Receptionist, I had an interview with Claire which is a lovely person and very professional.

My experience with Clabon was very successful. I would like to tell a few words about the interview. I came 15 min earlier. They welcomed me in very friendly way and asked to fill out the form. The interview started at the appointed time with Tracy. She were empathetic and very good psychologist. Out of all if not most of the recruitment companies out there in the property sector, Claibon has to be one of the best in my opinion. Fast, simple and efficient interview process; lovely, hardworking, dedicated staff and very attractive positions at high end, beautiful locations. Very quick in finding and offering both temporary and permanent roles. Was offered plenty of temporary roles and found a permanent position within weeks of registering with them and cannot recommend them highly enough. If you are diligent, able and willing there is a wealth of opportunity to be had working with Claibon. Claibon provided me with the opportunity to work as a concierge in 2012. To this day, I kept a very good relationship both with the founder and staffs. They would even accommodate last minute and out of office hours call. Would definitely recommend to others who are seriously seeking temporary or permanent posts.

Applied for a job via Totaljobs a few months ago. I was invited for an interview. After completing the paper work at reception along with my photo taken I was finally interviewed by Calibon s director herself, Claire.
My impressions were not positive. The interview was conducted in a small cramped office with a random member of staff working away on her pc. I found Claire to be arrogant, abrupt, rude and uninterested in gathering my work experience. She really needs to work on her interviewing skills and learn to be polite to her future applicants.

I didn t hear anything regarding my job application so I emailed a Charlene for an update. To this very day no reply. How very professional of them!
