Delicious food for a decent price and the wine serve by glass is superb!! (Podere San Luigi, Fidenzio 2005.... Woooow :) )

A sensationally beautiful location right on the Aare. A wonderful terrace where you can spend nice summer evenings. The dining room also has its charm. The huge window front offers a fantastic view of the Aare. Depending on the weather, this can also be opened. The five-course menu honors the Gault Millau points. It has a very interesting, unusual menu and the large wine list offers many great wines. Mainly from Switzerland.

Very good address with a beautiful view of the lake. Reception was pleasant, the dishes very well cooked and homemade. I recommend the cordon bleu. Note a beautiful wine list which highlights small local producers.

Consistent restaurant. Friendly service. Good kitchen.

Appetizer and main course were very bland. In response to our complaint, the service staff behaved distantly and unsettled. A little gesture to make amends would have been appropriate. Price-performance ratio is wrong.

We were able to celebrate our wedding in the steamship. The event was sensational from the first contact, through the organization of all details, until the evening itself. The menu, the beautiful decoration - all details were right! Without exception, the staff were more than friendly and courteous and could not be disturbed by a horde of children. Thank you very much! The restaurant was closed due to corona. But there was mulled wine and punch for the passers-by outside the door on the banks of the Aare. A welcome warming and very friendly gesture!

Beautiful setting at the ferry landing. Food is above average delicious.

All tables were decently cleaned and the seating was extremely comfortable. There you get both: sympathetic and fast waiters. It totally blew us away. Good cost performance ratio. I have not been so impressed with a place for a long time.

the location would be great, but if you come and z. b. a water would like when all tables are reserved, which is absolutely understandable, but the tables are not yet occupied, you get a discharge, incomprehensible to me. Pity. arrogant!

Great place to eat and look out over a very nice location

Interesting small menu with unusual combinations of ingredients but very tasty. Our waiter was incredibly friendly which we appreciated. The setting is quite romatic right at the river bench without feeling busy. We had a good and relaxing meal and will be back.

Great location on the Aare, excellent service and good Swiss gastronomy

We were welcomed very hospitably without a reservation and received a wonderful table on Saturday afternoon. Even the start of the menu has been successful - the recommendation for a non-alcoholic aperitif was great, as was the bread served. The appetizers and the main course were delicious, freshly cooked and well presented. The dessert plate for sharing an experience. We would like to come again!

Beautiful atmosphere! But 30.- for Pasta with soya sauce way too salty. Stuff was unfriendly refilled water without ordering us not knowing that the water is gonna cost 3.- per bottle in total very disappointing experience.

If you wanna enjoy a cup of coffee, front of the beautiful thun lake this is one of the best places in Thun. But if you wanna do so highly recommended during the summer. The ambience was perfect. You feel like you are in a pub back in 1800s when you enter the restaurant. Food was great, price is also very reasonable comparing to other places in Swiss. Service was absolutely nice. I have given 4 stars because there were not many entrees to select from the menu and there were no stakes. But it's a very nice place to enjoy a dinner with your family.

Very good food and friendly service, gladly again anytime

At first glance, it all looks quite unspectacular. Sure, the location on the lake is excellent, but the building and the whole layout are not special. What is then offered in culinary terms is simply world class. In addition, good wines at very fair prices, attentive but not intrusive service. And all of this with a high degree of consistency, for me one of the top addresses in Thun.

Imaginative lunch menus that also fill you up, also vegetarian, very inexpensive. Courteous waitress sweetened my lunch break
