I wish I was making it up, but I'm not: Claddagh Coffee is the best coffee shop on earth. It's as if someone took your favorite Irish pub and turned it into a coffee shop!
Great atmosphere. Wonderful coffee drinks. And the basement Grotto space is probably the best user of basement space of all time. Come have a coffee here. You'll be half you did, I promise!

Dogwood coffee served hot and delicious! Large space downstairs is a good addition to the seating on main level. They also serve food, but I did not partake.

Cute little place, but I can only give 3 stars because they forgot to make our order (a panini) until we asked the status of it 45 minutes later.

Tried the turmeric, clove and honey latte. So good! Sat by the large window in the front and caught up with a friend. Will be stopping by again!

Our favorite coffee shop to visit while in the Twin Cities! There's two restrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The downstairs offers a selection of games and a relaxing environment. Absolutely love the owner who works just as hard as her super friendly staff. I recommend this place to everyone for is relaxing vibe and delicious food and drink selections.

Fantastic taste! My Dirty Seamus with oat milk was amazing and the service was quick and friendly! -edited- There is an automatic 20% tip added to bill, but the barista should mention it to you first. There was a confusion after my first visit, but the team s response was prompt and I feel comfortable raising it a star after!

This is the absolute best place to get espresso drinks in Saint Paul. The drinks wake you up and are very smooth. Get a vanilla late or a dirty shamus.

I stumbled across this coffee shop this week, and I thought it was the cutest place! I had an amazing latte and the atmosphere was great. I will be returning!

Quality roasted coffee and a complete menu of treats and other foods. Wifi, outlets and a whole extra downstairs seating area great for hosting group meetings. I would spend time here everyday if I could.

I love this place. It is cosy and warm and welcoming.

I have to update this review now. They close early (I think by 4 on weekends and 5 on weekdays?). Anyways, went in today to get a breakfast sandwich at 11:02 am today, and there kitchen was already closed because they close at noon today! Done trying to give this local business money. I know many people in the neighborhood have asked them to be open later... The response was closing even earlier! I understand being a small, local business... I own one as well... and the biggest thing I've learned about being a small local business is to be open when people want you to be!

A great little coffee bar with an Irish flair. Serving a great London For and pretty good hot chocolate. The location is great and the decorations are lively.

Spot on food and coffee. Best espresso drink I have ever had. The black and tan was sweet, but not overly sweet due to the spiciness of the cinammon. Had the breakfast slider, and it was crispy and piping hot. My guest had the ham panini and an orange soda made with house made syrup, which he really enjoyed. Can't wait to visit again and try another specialty coffee drink and other food items.

Good coffee and live music. The coffee has a nice unique taste, a little like blueberries. They support the local tea shop.

Claddagh Coffee is a quaint coffee shop in St. Paul Minnesota. Claddagh stems from the Irish symbol of two hands holding a heart with a crown on top. The hands on the symbol represent friendship, the heart represents love, and the crown represents loyalty. Claddagh coffee does a great job at adhering to these values with their friendly service and a cozy coffee shop feel.

Claddagh Coffee offers many different specialized lattes. One of the unique things about them is that they all have a fun little Irish theme to them.

I enjoyed an egg torta. The egg torta was fluffy and creamy with gouda cheese. I thought it was weird to have salad for breakfast but it was light and refreshing after that rich egg, which I enjoyed. And if you are a follow of author Rachel Hollis, you know to just eat the stupid salad.

This is one of my favorite places for coffee! Great flavor in every cup. I have only had enjoyable experiences here. Feels like a true neighborhood cafe! Thanks Mary!

This place was awesome! What a fun spot to get some work done. The drinks and oh my the paninis are amazing. They get pretty busy, but head down stairs to the basement for more cozy seating options!

Great little cafe; does specialty coffee right. wish it were bigger and had more seating as it's often packed. There are regular tables and chairs upstairs and some couch seating downstairs. quite a few electrical receptacles to charge your laptop/phone

Just passing by, walked through. There was some people there painting. The pictures looked awesome. Good atmosphere. Coffee and sandwich there awhile ago, they were good!

Great coffee. COMPOSTABLE CUPS! Their warm beverage cups are compostable, which is a major motivation for me. (Lids are not-room for improvement.) I don t drink cold beverages from them so I m not sure about the straw and cup situation there.
I drink decaf and they do a great decaf espresso drink.

Best coffee in the twin cities, maybe even Minnesota, local coffee, even local milk, along with homemade everything... So unique, unlike any other shop I have been too, and I'm kinda a coffe snob... Tea is also amazing...

Great vibe, friendly people, good seating, and good casual lunch options. Decent specialty drinks and reasonable espresso coffee, though some baristas are better than others. A really great place to come study/work for a few hours, or meet with friends.

This is a lovely little coffee shop. Large windows opening on to 7th street for light, delicious coffee drinks, and an excellent basement space. The exposed brick and decor is also delightful.

I ordered a black coffee and it tasted like moldy blueberries. How did they even do that? It was genuinely disgusting.

Good coffee. Fun names for drinks. Pretty good baked goods, too. There's more comfortable seating in the lower level, as well, with some board and card games. Lighting is intimate, so it might not be the best for reading; seems to be more suited for good conversation.

Love this place! It's such a great place to relax and sip on a wonderful latte.

I love Claddagh - stop in all the time. They always have great service and great coffee. My favorite drink they have is the "Hot Molly" with Oat Milk. I've had a couple of their sandwiches and haven't been disappointed. The very first time I came in, there was a group of people doing a jam session of Irish folk music. So neat!

Went here on a whim because my normal coffee shop was too crowded. Great place and plan on coming back! They host events in the basement space. The Reuben and grilled cheese were both fantastic!

REALLY like this place. Fantastic Atmosphere and the drinks are all tasty and just different enough to be thematic, but individually unique. The bit of food that we ordered was delicious as well.
