Love the clothing and style but it is very expensive. Also, before I lived in NYC I ordered a jacket as a gift online and the size said Medium but it didn t fit my sister, vintage twin doesn t take returns so it ended up going to waste and I had to give it away. So unless you LOVE it/can try it on before buying, it isn t ideal. I love the store overall but no returns is rough.
Great selection, staff was very welcoming, bought a super soft vintage T for me and my brother!
They have a cool collection of jackets which I'd spent a little too much for but was in good quality and the textiles colors were bright and not faded. Great place to shop but not easy on your wallet for the really good pieces.

Love this store so much! Just did a mini shopping spree @ The Vintage Twin & had such a good in-store experience (Connor behind the Jeanius Bar!!!) that I had to leave this review. (I usually shop TVT online bc it s convenient & easy to search & style exactly what I want.)
I ve accumulated a solid amount of The Vintage Twin clothes over the years & the bottom line is I still have & wear EVERY SINGLE PIECE. They really do find the dopest clothing & it lasts way longer than the fast-fashion that s everywhere we look.
I prefer to support their vision of sustainability & stylishness by paying Bloomingdale s prices & getting quality goods (as opposed to thrift shop prices).

Overpriced and the style is very generic. The place is not curated and racks are jammed packed. Would recommend going thrifting yourself and finding something equivalent and a lot cheaper

Went to the vintage twin cause I was in town to stock up on fall clothes. They seemed to have some good pieces but we re way over priced. I ended up leaving pretty quickly cause as soon as I started picking up some sweaters one of the workers there offered me a fitting room, which I thought was nice. When I replied no thank you because I simply wasn t ready, then she proceeded to just follow me around and didn t stop watching me. I understand if there might have been incidents where people have run off but really? Why would anyone want to even take a sweater that was priced at $49 when in reality I could get the same sweater for $5 or less at a thrift store? I didn t even continue looking any further into the store. Why would you want to support a shop that makes all their customers feel like thieves. Never going back again...
I ve never been able to shop or wear vintage, but they make it so easy. The selection is really good, but not overwhelming. And the service is the best part. I can literally go in and describe something I m going for or just ask for a suggestion and they pick the perfect piece for me every time. Highly recommend.
Go to the Spring Steeet location, it s less busy than the one on broadway. Cool vintage t shirts and jackets. It s too expensive though. I paid $125 for Levi s and that was one of the cheaper ones.
The jeanius bar in particular is a very innovative idea. I really appreciated how helpful and dedicated the employee Danielle was with assisting me in finding the jeans I was looking for
I LOVE the vintage twin!!! I am a regular customer who rocks vintage levi s and vintage wranglers from their JEANiusBAR on a regular basis. The service there is like no other: you have your own salesperson who can tell your size from just looking at you! I also have a navy blazer from them that I am obsessed with and get SO many compliments on. It is probably my favorite piece because I won t see anyone in the same one, it s so unique. Thanks TVT for my wardrobe!

The clothes are dope but so expensive! Everything is really over-priced for vintage clothing. I can pay 100$ for throusers only if it's new and of good quality..

Staff is rude and unfriendly. Especially the 2 working at 10/5/20 around 2pm. As soon as we walked in they cornered us and stared the entire time. So uncomfortable we couldn t spend more than 2 minutes in there. I ve noticed other reviews like this and it seems like this issue won t get fixed. Also the clothes are extremely overpriced pieces you could find at Goodwill
