Beverly Family Chiropractic Review

I first started seeing Dr.Derek when I was about 36 weeks pregnant in the hopes of helping me achieve a VBAC, as well as helping with some upper back pain. I m happy to say that my labor and delivery was about as easy as could be hoped for and my back is feeling better. With two children, appointments aren t always the easiest, but Beverly Family Chiropractic is super accommodating; there are toys in the waiting room as well as in the offices, and Judy is always more than happy to hold a baby:). I really appreciate the family oriented practice that Dr. Derek and everyone else at Beverly Family Chiropractic has created, as well as the holistic approach to health that Dr.Derek employs. Highly recommended!

Dr. Derek is professional who takes the time to listen and inform. I am confident that he treats my spine to cheap me straight in both spine and organ function.

Dr. Derek came to the hospital just hours after my son was born to check him. Since then, my son has been adjusted nearly every week. I credit his health (no ear or sinus infection) to Dr. Derek's care. I love all that this office stands for and appreciate that their family leads by example.

My 3 yo see's Dr. Derek and it is the highlight of his day! He really looks forward to his visits with him. Dr. Derek is fantastic with the kids and knows how to work with them on their level. We ve seen a lot of chiropractors in our life, and Dr. Derek is one of the best. Not only do I visit him regularly, but my husband and two kids also get regular adjustments - and it makes the world of difference in our attitudes and physical well-being.

Dr. Derek is helping me to feel my best. He is companionate and adjusts you depending on your comfort level. I have been improving over time. It is a lengthy process and you have to do your part too. So, don't expect to improve in a few weeks, get into your car, put a checkmark, and drive away. You have follow up with the exercises to help you get better and help Dr. Derek to treat you better. Overall, I have been happy coming to the office. The staff is very friendly too.

Wished I had found Dr Gallant sooner! I work as a nurse and was having horrible pain in my neck and shoulder I was being evaluated by the chief of pain medicine at a large Boston Medical Center - with little improvement. Fortunately, I found Beverly Family Chiropractic and Dr Gallant. I began to feel relief after my very first adjustment. Dr Gallant targets just the right areas for adjustments for your personal needs ( not one size fits all) I have had chronic pain so It is going to be a journey, but I am on the right path! I've been going in twice a week for only a few months and have experienced significant improvement! No need to go back in to Boston to the chief of pain medicine. I am in the right place and have had amazing results. The staff is friendly and do their best to accommodate your schedule for appointments, I would highly recommend! A+

Almost two years ago was in excruciating pain sciatic pain after seeing Dr.Gallant consistently for a few weeks my pain became tolerable and months after no pain. Now it mentainence. I always feel taller and more aligned when I leave his office plus he and his staff are so pleasant and positive.

Dr. Derek is very thorough in his explanation of his practice and how it works- and for someone who had never done chiropractic work before, his attention to detail and answering questions was incredibly helpful. At every single appointment his manner is positive and attentive.

I have a complex medical/health history, and Dr. Derek takes the time to address every issue and check in on how things are going, how I am doing between treatments, etc. I have seen the results of his careful and specific work: not only is my posture better, but many of my other symptoms have lessened or even faded away.

Additionally, the entire staff is excellent! Everyone helps create a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. They invest time to get to know each patient on a personal level: they make you feel like you are truly joining their family practice.

Derek is an amazing chiropractor. He is one of the few in the north short who was trained at Life University. He is very welcoming to entire families, singles, couples or children. It is easy to make an appointment with him!

For one reason or another, I'd never visited a chiropractor before. I'd always wondered if it could benefit me, and what exactly they did, as friends have given me mixed reviews from their visits. I've heard of "good chiropractors" and "bad chiropractors" and for that reason, tended to just avoid the field entirely. He impressed me with his whole-body approach to health and wellness and seemed like the kind of doctor that would be easy to connect to.

Dr. Derek Gallant is a breath of fresh air for Beverly. He is young, educated and thoughtful, and really took the time to listen to my health history, evaluate my needs, and offer insights to help me get better results. He even went out of his way to contact another healthcare provider that might provide additional benefits for me. I had my first ever chiropractic adjustment and I really felt better and more aligned after the visit. One thing that impressed me the most with Dr. Gallant s approach was that he was non-pushy and actually listened. So often, we meet healthcare professionals who don t take the time to actually listen, process, and advise accordingly. Dr. Gallant weighed out the pros and cons to treatment, and was respectful of my needs and concerns. I really appreciated the information he presented while respecting my choices.

He accepted my insurance, and the people I spoke with in booking appointments and at the reception desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. I also found the fees to be more than reasonable. I wouldn t hesitate to recommend Dr. Gallant to a friend or family member and am so happy to have a local professional to keep my body and health in check!

Beverly Family Chiropractic is an amazing, family friendly place. They are so warm and welcoming of my kids and take great care of us. Derek has been adjusting me for over 6 years and totally relieved the daily back pain I was experiencing. I saw him through both my pregnancies and it was a game changer. During one of my pregnancies I had sudden and severe back pain. I even went to the ER to make sure nothing was wrong. The doctors said all my tests were fine and that they weren t sure what to do to help, that it could be muscular. Derek saw me the next day and adjusted me. My pain was gone within the hour. So grateful for this practice!

I had reached a point in my life where back pain was normal. Dull lower back pain kept me for doing more than an hour of house work at a time. Sharp upper back pain made my work as a dental hygienist difficult. My family pushed me to see a spinal surgeon who told me nothing was wrong with me and gave me prescription pain killers. I knew this was the path of pain medication, injections and eventual surgery. that was not the road i wanted to walk. I was curious about chiropractors but I didn t quite know what they really did. I started seeing Dr. Derek Gallant two years ago and I am so happy to say today I am pain free.

An unexpected success related to my care with Dr. Gallant is eliminating medication from my life. I have been on over the counter and prescription medications since 1994. Most recently five to six medication daily. I thought my body could not survive well naturally. I have learned a lot since then. Along with my chiropractic care I take a small daily dose of raw apple cider vinegar and local raw honey. As of May 15th I had have not taken a single medication.

Excellent care! As an endurance athlete with chronic neck and back strain, Dr. Derek has kept me (mostly) pain free for the past 6 years and functioning at the level I want for my lifestyle. I used to get debilitating stiff necks several times a year that would put me out of commission for at least a week - I have not had any of these since beginning my care. I've been going to Bev Family Chiro since I was 7 months pregnant with my second child and had a broken ankle, so I was also in a boot. My body was a mess and I had extreme back pain. Dr. Gallant cares for his patients. He takes his time to thoroughly explain to you what may cause your problems and come up with plan to correct your problems. The office is very flexible with their hours and will try to fit it around your schedule. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend any one that needs corrections to come here.

The whole team at Beverly Family Chiropractic is excellent! Everyone is very friendly, welcoming and cares about your whole health. They were great support during and after my pregnancy. I've had neck/shoulder pain for a long time and lower back from pregnancy and hardly have any, even with nursing, carrying a baby in probably not the best positions all day!

After a few months hiatus (due to Covid19 and choosing to stay close to home), I've returned to Beverly Family Chiropractic. I'm excited to get back into the routine of seeing Dr. Derek and his team. The office is clean (as always), the people are inviting, and the level of care and attention is off the charts. I have seen Dr. Derek throughout both of my pregnancies and he has helped guide me through the postpartum recovery process. He takes the time to teach me new exercises to strengthen and he gives me advice on how to make small changes to my sleeping habits and daily routines to alleviate ailments. I believe I am getting the best care possible!
