Bemis center is a UPS located at 13th and Leavenworth Street to south east corner. Entry can be gained through the back parking lot. You may have to wait a few minutes as the guy that runs this place is quite busy. But he is prompt when he gets to you and will do with you in a very courteous fashion.
I would trade this place about a seven on my Richter scale
The Bemis Center has never had the same international reputation since past President Masuoka drove the establishment into ruins. I heard he was astonishingly able to fool a museum out east into hiring him as CEO.
Exceptional selections. Really friendly atmosphere. Given how popular they are, I'm not surprised.

Art lovers in the Omaha area should really consider becoming members or otherwise supporting the Bemis Center. It is a wonderful place for emerging artists and where expanding the love for art is happening. Ongoing exhibitions and special events. Get on the mailing list or attend a special event there.
Art is different for everyone. What you consider art may be what another person doesn't. There are so many different types of art and people out there. Let everyone create their own inspirations. Be passionate be bold, stand out.

This free studio has an eclectic mix of rotating art pieces from around the world. The staff is very friendly, informative, and helpful. This isn't your typical art gallery, they have video artwork, 3D pieces, and canvas art in a beautifully historic building.
Elle was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. Cabernet was excellent and fantastic ambiance.

The Bemis Center is a world treasure, and we are very fortunate to have it in Omaha. One of the strongest residency programs for Contemporary art in the world, they bring exciting artists from all walks of life to share what they do with the community. Definitely check out one of the open studios they have a few times a year to get a behind the scenes look at the magic. Take in a gallery show, or join them Thursday evenings for an artist talk.
