Great tour! The admissions office is very helpful and all the staff and students in general are incredibly nice. The place also has great architecture in it's buildings. I really look forward to (hopefully) go here!

The way the school is diverse and the kind of quality education you offer makes it the best. I would wish to join you in 2020 and study Computer science and come back to Kenya and make a difference.

Graduated many years ago, been to many fine schools since, accomplished a lot, but the magic that is MIT remains one of the most important experiences in my life. MIT is not a college, it is a total experience. Recommendations cannot do it justice. If you can experience it, it will change your life permanently.

It doesn't deserve to be the starting point of U.S. route 3. "US 3 begins in the south along Memorial Drive in Cambridge, along the Charles River, at an interchange with Massachusetts Avenue (Route 2A)." If you just read wikipedia and don't look at the map, you will never know that U.S. route 3 starts on its campus. Shame.

Before I know anything more about you, I would like to thank you for the generous open courses on your website. I cannot find any decent summer schools that teach me programming in Montreal. I will count on you this summer and see how the IT courses go for me. Thanks again for all the online resources.

Did a college tour with my kid. Great campus! Take public transportation if you can. Parking was a bit difficult to find. Ended up finding space in the yellow garage. Not a far walk from where we needed to be.

From Harvard, I walked the friendly streets of Cambridge - but you can also take the subway to Kendall / MIT (red line) station - to see MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), ranked as one of the best in the world. math, science and technology teaching. It is a vibrant place known to be home to innovation. Take a stroll around campus, enjoy the bustle of students, their classrooms, labs, dormitories and the monumental buildings of the University. Stroll through the athletic center and enjoy a meal at Stratton Center (the food court is cool, open day and night).

MIT... Name is enough...Fascinating Campus! As a tourist, I found out MIT is a cooler place to visit than Harvard. I mean for the architecture, the stories, and the cool things going on in the school. The engineering building was the coolest to see. You definitely need to plan ahead as they have limited space. The hour information session could have been condensed to 35 minutes, but otherwise was very helpful. The walking tour was more informative. The campus is beautiful with many unique buildings. Stroll through Killian's Court and take a walk on the riverside to see the crew teams and sailing teams as they practice and race on the Charles River.

It is a kid in the third year of middle school. As I was looking around the net, I saw the news that a quantum entanglement was found as a result of shining a laser on a large mirror. Under the article, it was written that if this entanglement of quantum becomes larger, humans will be able to slip through the wall as well. is this, Isn't it not too far away?

It's not worthy to go there if you didn't go to other places in Boston. All the tech stuff is pretty amazing - but I didn't find it exciting enough to go there. Even being a scientist. Go there only if you really like high tech stuff and have time for it. Good thing: it's not expensive.

Visited the campus during a recent trip to Boston and enjoyed the experience. It's great to see a private university opening its doors to curious visitors who are drawn in by the prestige attached to the school. The Visitor/Information Center is on Rogers Building (aka, Building 7-121) along Massachusetts Avenue, where maps and restrooms are available. The building is hard to miss with its Greek columns and the name of the school and founder inscribed on its facade. Maps are also available on the MIT website. It would probably take half a day to visit the campus at a leisurely pace. If you don't have much time, the Great Dome and Killian Court (green space) are easily reachable from the Information Center and are very picture-worthy. From there, you can reach the waterfront, which offers amazing views of downtown Boston and Charles River. You can even cross the bridge on foot if your next destination is the downtown area.
