Went for a wedding so can't really score the facilities, but its a beautiful place, with really nice picture locations.

The lunch and dinner buffet was not up to my liking. Being a seaside resort, there was no variety in the seafood that was offered. The meat also did not taste great. I was disappointed with the main meals, however surprisingly the desserts were not bad at all.
The room was basic and clean. However the veranda door which opened to the pool was rusted and slipped of the rail. The water pressure of the shower was amazing.

Visit for wedding ceremony , foods good , wedding hall have enough space , not enough people to serve to the guests , after having meals plate collection take long time

This hotel is part of citrus chain of hotels, this is far away from the city. Food was good but their housekeeping service really sucks. They don't provide towel and other toilette in the room. Their attitude towards guests need to improved

Well this is ok but not the best. Staff is not friendly enough.

We stayed here for 3 days and it's a nice place to chill out and relax, however there isn't much in the surrounding areas except other hotels, plus the beach isn't nice enough to swim in, so all you can really do is stay in the hotel. The food is really good though but this is overshadowed by the service. It takes roughly 30mins to get a drink (once by the pool we waited 45 mins for a coconut drink) and about 20mins plus to get your bill. I think the staff are trying really hard but they just don't know service like other places. They need someone to come on board and teach them hospitality skills as it's severely lacking. Additionally, the spa is very very expensive at 70 usd for a 1 hour massage.

This hotel is lovely if you want a beach break. The staff couldn't do enough for you. The food was excellent with many options both local and international. The only reason it is not five stars is the rooms although comfortable had a strange set up in the bathroom. Basically a shaft running from top to bottom in the bathroom where you could hear people doing their ablutions from above and below.

Good view with beach, it's better they can increase thier foods quality....

Good food with nice location. But the staff is lack of humanity and friendliness. Specially the front office staff. Better to give them a proper training to deal with their customers

Nice place. Good facilities and good variety of food. The service standard of the hotel staff was very good.

Free wifi covers all places, the lobby is stronger, the evening peak can only be WeChat text! Breakfast and dinner are rich, only one key, lost 10,000 rupees! The room is quite big, there is a small balcony facing the sea, the waves are big, It is not suitable for water! Toilet toothpaste, etc. should be used, paper slippers! Three floors high, no elevator! Gym, swimming pool is good, but also facing the sea, there is a feeling of swimming in the sea! Security is strict, big iron gate defend, noisy people Wait for the dog to enter! The only drawback is the railway in front of the door. The train passes through noisy and will wake up deadly!

Great place to stay. Not far from Colombo, was just 1hr for me from my home on the highway. Excellent service, clean beach, and good food.

Comfy Room. Nice Location. Food was average. Not much varieties on buffet. But Desserts is fabulous. Overall ok.

I would rate 5 starts even though it's not a 5 star hotel. The reason? They know how to make you feel welcomed. The view is awesome, the beach is clean and well maintained, the rooms, lounges, hallways and other places are beautiful and eye pleasing. The buffet is really good. They have a variety of food for each course. The swimming pool is long and can actually swim, unlike some other small pools. The rooms are spacious and has a beautiful view for each of them. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. It's a good place to spend your day and have a good experience.

The buffet was wonderful!!! Breakfast, lunch & dinner all.. and the bar.. staff was friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was beyond my expectations. Room was good,and the view from the room was OMG!!!

Conveniently spacious rooms overlooking the sea.... Clean and well maintained rooms... Good lengthy swimming pool... Multiple restaurants cater to the need and interest to the guests...

The place is really awesome and good place to relax your self. But before make the reservation make sure to check the duration between your room and main entrance.

We made a mistake by not inquiring that. We walked almost half kilometres to the buffet and back to the room. Same for the pool as well

A really huge hotel spread out over a massive property. The rooms are fairly comfortable and clean. The bathrooms can probably do with a bit of refurbishment as the age is beginning to show slightly. The pool is fairly big and it's not too deep. The gym and the spa are decent. Would be an ideal location for a weekend out away from the hustle of the city.

The only thing that brings this hotel down is the quality of their staff at the main restaurant which serves the buffet style dinner and breakfast. The staff seriously need to be taught on better guest interaction. The waiter who was in charge of our table did not bother to ask our group if we would like to drink anything. To make matters worse we were not served even water. This is despite him happily serving and refilling water to the tables right next to ours. After about 30 mins of expecting that he would serve, we had to request for water at the end of our meal and he serves it without even a simple sorry for his "oversight".

While the above can be put down to inefficient service, the next incident was down right rude. I was waiting in line to serve soup when this big built chef type, who was probably in charge of checking and refilling the quantum of food available on the buffet just pushed me to a side from my shoulder and then proceeded to check the quantum of soup being available. He did not make any attempt to apologise despite me glaring at him. In all my years of having gone to hotels, resorts and restaurants all over the world, never have I been pushed like that. So I clearly know that this gent did that intentionally or at best case is a person who is not fit to be in the service business.

One does not expect to be treated shoddily when one is a paying guest.

A good place make your holiday fun. There is good foods and a big swimming pool. I spent a enjoyable day at there

We went during off season so it was great value for money. Sea view rooms are fantastic. The service was excellent.

Environment - good and enough space.
Staff does not care about guests. Do not attend to tables.

A beautiful place right next to the beach. Make sure you get a room on the upper floors that have a perfect view of the sea from the balcony. The rooms are pretty spacious and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was really good. The pool is big enough but tends to get over crowded. The best time to hit the pool is early morning as soon it opens.

I went Citrus for workshop at stay one night. Okay this is good hotel. Food is delicious and friendly service.

One of my cousin's had her wedding reception at this certain establishment and it was the worst service I have ever seen. Highly not recommended for anyone who thinks of having a wedding or any event in this hotel to think twice before wasting your money.
