I've been here for several concerts and the X Games. The amphitheater is a great concert venue and the X Games were well organized. They did a good job of streaming traffic and the grounds have plenty of vendors, restrooms, etc.

There needs to be a greater presence of well informed employees at COTA. There is very little direction and planning for events. I walked three to four extra miles because employees told me to go one place then another because they had no idea what I was talking about or the correct route to take.

We were here for the F1 Grand Prix. Awesome circuit. Venue is not too far from the city and access is very accessible. Huge area so prepare to walk a lot. Food options are ok, but nothing fancy. Concerts were awesome (we saw Imagine Dragons and Pink), but sound was not great. Probably they did not have enough time to get it set up. All in all, a good experience.

In town for the COTA US MotoGP round. First I would like to explain why not 5 stars. On Saturday morning the track was supposed to be open at 0745 hours. We Ubered from our hotel in Austin just as heavy rain began to fall. Walked across the parking lot from the posted Uber point as the rain turned into a deluge with thunder and lightning. It was past 0745 hours and the entrance was not open. A group of around 100 race attendees were standing under the flimsy tents used by the staff to check tickets and backpacks. We were told by COTA staff to return to our vehicles, which none of us had. We were then told that it was "not safe" for the COTA staff to open the gates even though we were out in that weather. Really, not safe for the staff but what about US? Finally, around 0830 hours we were let into a safe interior portion of the facility. Bad move COTA! Be more considerate of your guests.

Another small gripe is that by the end of the weekend the restrooms were not clean, trash overflowing, stinky. Better than porta johns but, come on.

Now, I gave the track 4 stars even after that occurring because the rest of our time there was outstanding. We had VIP tickets for all 3 days. The staff were great! The food was good and the track was amazing! Everyone we met and interacted with was friendly, courteous and helpful. We will definitely be back again because where else in the US can you mingle with international racing personalities and witness such a great spectator sport.

Compared to other autodromes, this one has a lot of investment in infrastructure, excellent service and very good facilities including the track. The organization is very good. During the GP motorcycle event the food is excellent and from any point of the track spectacular photos are obtained. Screens very well located during the races and the local sound make the stay better. Recommended nachos with flank steak and burritos.

What a great venue! I always think the parking situation is going to be worse than it actually is, but they have the process buttoned down well.

The only thing that is not great is that they shut down the restrooms at the end of concerts. I had kids with me and we wanted to let them go before we started our trip back home. We ended up finding a construction port-o-potty for them outside the gates. We were lucky. If you go to a concert be sure to go before the concert ends!

OK, I am new to F1, but not to being at fabulous locales and sports arenas. I have to say that the COTA track is one of the best laid out, most comfortable, and accessible I have ever been to. Cannot believe they built it in 9 months, and improvements were evident in year 2!! Glad I purchased my PSL for 10 years... a wise investment and love the venue.

It's been the third time I went there for go karting and as usual it was an amazing experience. One is required to reach 30 minutes before the race starts so they can convey the required safety information for first timers. It is preferred to make reservations before hand especially on weekends.
The go karting track is right next to the F1 stadium. The stadium is great and I used to love seeing the Audis parked outside. Wish I could attend a race at the track

Awesome

I am only giving this a lower rating for one reason. Bought tickets to a concert that were ADA, the closed seats to the front are in the back on the ground floor. At most concerts people STAND up well if i am in a wheelchair I CANT see. My brother in law moved into the aisle to be able to see and was scolded and treTed very poorly by a manger, telling he had to move even though he couldn t see. Instead of her offering a solution she was extremely rude and told him from the seat there was a hole in the crowd where she could see........
...( standing , not at his level) I was so outraged that they would not look for empty seats to help out the situation. Luckily another associate disagreed and corrected the rude manager and found some seats where he could actually see. If you have a concert area don t put the seats in the back where everyone is going to be standing in front impossible to see. I think this is a major design flaw and you are not really accommodating correctly. Please think of your future guest. ThanKs

We had a great time seeing the 2018 MotoGP here. Grounds just south east of downtown Austin, about 10-20 min away depending on traffic. For event, prepare for an obvious delay in arrival. Parking is easy and the grounds are new.

What an incredible facility. Everything here is top notch. I attended a RideSmart event here and enjoyed the facility and the track very much. The track doesn't need much support but the layout, elevation changes, smoothness, safety is all excellent. The facility is equally as nice. Paddock, garages, meeting rooms, driveways, tower, bridges. Nothing but the best!

Beautiful and impressive (i.e really fast) track, paddock and spectator areas! Even the restaurant in the paddock was quite good. Expensive for a grassroots racer but I guess anything F1 has its price!!!

Amazing track!

Got a chance to experience the thrill of going around COTA via the Audi Driving Experience. A huge recommendation to anyone who is remotely interested in trying it themselves. It was an amazing experience.

Expensive parking No shuttle bus (to pay 20dlls Friday and Saturday and 30 dlls on Sunday and make you walk through fields that if it rains (as in this case) becomes a quagmire and without receipt. there is signage and if you ask the support staff, most of them have no idea and they make you lose too much time, at least all this happened in Moto GP 2019

I went to COTA for a concert. We got the cheapest seats so we were placed on the lawn. However, the lawn is on a hill so the view was elevated. There is no bad spot on the lawn. You can see the stage from the back. The venue isn't the biggest. You get the smaller feel of a concert in an outdoor environment. Probably one of my favorite music venue in Austin!

The bridge from the standard parking to the stadium is made from rickety plywood...for the price I paid for tix get a real engineer. The ground under the back of the lawn is sinking as well...fix that too before you have injuries and lawsuits.

Such an awesome place! I've never been to a place that's so clean with such friendly staff and security. The bathrooms are spotless which I really appreciate and am surprised by because of the 250k people coming through here this weekend. Really hope to be back here for another race sometime!

I was there for IMSA. The views are incredible and your can see most of the track from most places, except The main grandstand. The biggest thing I would like to see is more shade in seating areas other than the main grandstands, especially turn one. I would also like to be allowed to bring in my own drinks like many other tracks I've been to.
