If you go to the F1 race here DO NOT BUY ANY package from the COTA website. When I inquired about packages I was sent pictures of couches, nice comfy chairs and tables everywhere. That was the major factor in my decision seeing is that we would be there for 10 hours a day for 3 days. When we arrived we were very surprised to see non of those comfortable couches, tables and chairs that were in the pictures sent to us. Instead there were cheap metal and wood chairs, 1x 2 person couch and zero comforts like was told to me in the purchasing process. We spent $2500.00 on each ticket for the "Owner's Club and the only people that had those comforts were the actual owners that sat in the same tent as us. They had plenty of those nice comfortable things in their section. When I spoke with Westin Pedigo (The person that sold us the tickets) we were told that the pictures we were sent was from last year and that they had complaints that there was to much furniture and not enough room for people. We were also told that they sold more tickets in the "Owner's Club" which told me that they made more money by selling more tickets and rented less furniture which tells me they cheaped it out this year. People were basically fighting for position in the chairs with the view, if you got up you were screwed. There wasn't nearly enough seats for all the people they sold tickets to. In addition to this they served decent food and beverage the entire 3 days. On race day they picked up the food over 40 minutes earlier then was written on there chalk board they had on both floors describing the menu's for the day. There were a few more issues but none nearly as bad as the ones described above.
I've called 3 times and emailed multiple times to talk to a manager about my issues and no one has tried to reach out to me about this at all. They got there $5,000 so they don't give a crap I guess.
I have to say for this race to be successful you need to have return guests, you'll never make it if people come once and never come back.
I recommend getting a regular lawn seat, sitting right in front of the "Owner's Club" tent and enjoy the race without spending all that money. You'll have the same exact experience!

Just left Austin from F1 trip. What an experience, we splurged on the CORA club and while it wasn t cheap being a VIP was worth every dollar!! Only issues I saw; better traffic managment during concert times for both cars and people. The mass of people trying to get into Pink was poorly handled. Otherwise, food trucks were awesome! Race was spectacular, and grounds were very well taken care of!

Wow!

Off of the beaten path, so if you don t drive and need a ride share it can be costly ($94 coming no back Saturday after the last race around 6pm). The beers are all bud owned, so if you want craft beer you have about 2 options. Way over priced as you d imagine ($10 pint $14 for a 22oz). Food was not that great either and extremely overpriced. None of those things would have been that big of a deal if we didn t have to deal with those outrageous prices for three days. You ll be doing a lot of walking but they do have potty s, food and beer within a reasonable distance. I won t visit this track again for the simple fact they rob you with the concessions. For a one day event I understand, but this was a three day event. I hope to god motogp goes to Indy next year. Hopefully since a lot of the riders were complaining about the poor condition of the track (bumps everywhere making it dangerous and cota has never been able to repair) MotoGP will be anywhere but here. Would not go back. I love you Austin, but cota was a meh experience.

This is a really great F1 track, and COTA has continued to improve everyone's experience. They have added shuttles that take you around the circuit, as well as shuttles that take you to some of the farthest parking lots. Be advised, if it rains most of the parking lots will be muddy and I've seen cars getting stuck. F1 is the busiest race of the year so expect delays when getting out of the circuit right after the race.

Leaving this place is awful. They only opened one gate for people to leave which meant I needed up walking all the way around that huge track just to get back to my vehicle (took over an hour and 20 min). Felt that they could do better getting people out of there and back to parking if they did some sort of shuttle or something. The actual concert was fun but having to deal with so much chaos just to leave made it a disappointment

Fantastic track, with great viewing even for general admission (especially around turn 1 and out on the 'esses'). Parking can be tricky for major events, so book in advance if you don't want a long walk!

Be prepared to walk a lot and bring a small foldable lawn chair. No shade. And bathrooms are a walk and lots of porta potty s. I went for the F1 race and it s was fun but it got packed on race day.

We went to the electric car show held here. We tried the cafe that is there. It is a deli style cafe that also sells burgers and fries. It was fresh food and great fries. The staff are friendly and kept the place clean. I did see some people confounded a bit on which was compostable trash and recyclable. Maybe a small picture guide to help? The indoor restrooms are always a plus in Texas! The restrooms were kept clean, a huge plus! The event setup indoors did have good sound control - no resounding echos or cross presenters competing with traveling sound. That is probably helpful since the F-1 track was in use that day. We could hear the track but it was muffled background noise that we were fine with.

Nothing bad to say!!! I live 5 minutes away from it so I don't deal with the traffic issues when its time to go home for the spectator's, but hey what can you do about it! That's what you deal with when thousands of people get together for an event!! Also the best part... cars and coffee!!!! I love it!! Won't miss it for the world!!! Also there is very little police presence to ruin the fun!!! It's a very mature event, hope everyone that goes keeps it like that, so they won't have a reason to be there!

The track is awesome, however the infrastructure for pedestrians is awful. They weren't prepared properly for the rain. They had to many flooded parts, mood and the volunteers and the staff were completed disorganized. The fanzone was great and the autograph session too.

An incredible facility and track! I visited for the Formula 1 race and sat in Turn 12 and Turn 15. I highly recommend seats at Turn 12, I was able to see most of the best action of the race right there. Lots of food options here, lots of restrooms, and lots of places to buy merchandise. Everything is well planned here and makes for a great race experience! I will be back!

It was my first time visiting. I loved it. It was a cars and coffee meeting so it was pretty fun to see amazing cars close by and also watch them race thru the circuit with their own car (you could drive your own car for a $150 fee). If I had a super car I would totally pay it, worth the experience since there may not be many chances like those (that I know of).

Went there for the X-Games to see Metallica. It felt kind of unorganized but I had a blast. Would definately come back again. Just know that leaving is a complete cluster f***, took us over two hours to get from our spot in Lot F back to 812.

We ve visited the COTA for numerous events including MotoGP, Formula 1 and Le Mans race. Each time the venue offered different stalls, eateries, facilities and entertainment. Notable things are that the grandstand offers great facilities with food, drinks and bathrooms. The portaloo s outside the grandstand were kept clean and useable throughout all the events. Parking is simple and easy to access. Walkways to the venue are provided. There have been rickshaw bikes for hire for those that can t make the walk.

The track is amazing. I was there for the inaugural F1 race and I wasn't dissapointed. Prepare to walk and squeeze through areas where vendors are. Proper walking shoes are a must. For General Admission areas, I suggest the lawn chair and getting there extremely early on race day. Elevation changes are constant so the elderly or those who require assistance, prepare ahead of time. Very limited ATMs so bring your cash. Most vendors only accept cash. Know where you parked and most importantly, know what shuttle takes you back. Some overlap and people constantly ask "Are you going to parking lot X?" or "Does this shuttle take us to the park and ride in Austin?" The town of Elroy is small and two lane roads makes it difficult to get in and out. Getting to the outer parking lots, i.e. Q took me almost 2 hours but in Elroy's defense, it was their first time having a quarter of a million people in a town of 125. Hopefully the years to come will be more efficient. Overall it was an amazing experience and will be there again this year. Hope to bump into you.

Can't say enough about this place...went out for cars and coffee (first Sunday of the month) and it was amazing, everyone was polite, everything was clearly marked and sectioned off, vendors were out, go karts were blazing around the kart track, the Audi experience was underway and you could sit in the stands and watch the Audi V10s scream down the straight away, looking forward to going back again!

This is by far the most amazing race track I've ever been to. It's huge, there are great views everywhere, and there's a giant tower that you can go up and watch the entire venue from hundreds of feet up. I highly recommend going out to check out a race.

The Circuit of America's is by far one of the coolest places to visit. The Formula 1 race was loud, fast paced, exciting. A moment of dullness never came with the adrenaline rush of racing and illustrious atmosphere makes this a once in a lifetime experience. Great food as well with a great race, makes a great day/weekend.

COTA is one of my favorite places to go. Great races throughout the year. The venue is huge and offers lots to see. Make sure you use the shuttles around the track they make getting around much easier than walking. Also check out the go kart racing track super fun.
