Visited the hotel for the third time to attend a social gathering. The location by the seaside, the view from the rooms, the staff, the ambience and the service is great! My only complain would be the food. Yes, it is good, don't get my wrong. But not the best I've had. Expected better food from a 5 star hotel. Overall a great place though
The property is quite Okay, but the staff is beyond hopeless. We stayed here for 2 days as part of a group. At check in, we were told twice over that Internet is complimentary, but they charged at check out and basically told us we must be lying about it. Then they have a scheme where you can give up to 10 items for laundry by 10:00 AM & they'll be charged at a subsidized rate, so we gave 5-6 items. They charged those at full rate cos it wasn't exactly 10 items! The card doesn't inform you that it's for 10 items exactly and neither does the staff. But at check out, they'll hold you to it. We spoke to the manager too, but to no avail.
It's obviously not about the money, but general attitude & hospitality. It's just not worth it. Spend your money somewhere where they care about the customer.
Good place, does not live up to be an upscale place, not five stars as advertised, maybe 3 stars. Food is ok, rooms are a little small but good. Bathrooms are not good, no exhaust. Can find better places for the same price
Absolutely THE place to stay when you happen to be this side of paradise.
It's home from home come rain (like now in monsoon) or shine (from October to March).

One of the best property in Goa. The Portuguese theme adds a great charm to hotel. The private beach is really lovely. The swimming pool is great. The clouds create a great ambience here in monsoons.

It was a great experience. I have been coming year since 1991. It has always been a pleasure and a memorable experience at Cidade de Goa. Hope to visit soon.

A really cool destination for a chill-out vacation! By the beach, you are sure to have a fantabulous sunset every evening (rarely during the monsoon though).. food is exquisite! The Goan menu is by far among the best that I have ever tasted. Service is top notch, associates too are very kind hearted and helpful.. cleanliness and hygiene of the area is very well taken care of.. although the loo in and around the banquet area could be taken care of better. Guest amenities are within an arms reach and you wouldn't have to run around much to find them. A must visit with family and friends, even if its just for the weekend this place is one that must be experienced especially if you happen to be a non Goan.

Nice property, well maintained. The staff were very courteous, professional, and went out of their way to accomodate the needs of especially my parent with restrictive dietary needs. The care and attentiveness was excellent!! I highly recommend this hotel. Kudos to Mr Ramendra, sous chef, Mr Ravindra at Laranja and their entire staff for a huge spread of gastronomical delights. The ambience is simple yet elegant. The beach is just a few steps away. Kudos to the house keeping team, in room dining team, the chefs and their entire staff!!

Lovely place where you have Sea view rooms & a pleasant evening.
Such a huge property on the beach front.. Haven't seen the inside of the rooms since our triathlon was mostly outside.. The guests looked happy.. So must be good inside too.. The pool looks clean.. And they properly faces a bay where u can actually swim safe in the water without a lot of waves.. Jellyfish are quite a bit around this time... Not much fun to be stung by them though not very bothersome.. Good amount of life guards around here... Haven't had food.. So no comments on that!

He not even maintained my room but also provide me lots of details about goa and suggested me some places there to visit thanks for making my stay comfortable.
