There was some fine honies. Food was decent. Got lucky in the slots. Oooooi and I gave someone else's slot machine to a random lady. Sorry not sorry

The bird park is amazing for the young and old. A must to see for all.

Sense of day during the night, much to do and cozy accommodation near there too. Beautiful fountains through the premises and gosh there are polite and hard working staff there.

The "ferrari" competition doesn't give full details of what invoices are needed to enter competition. Spent half an evening going back and forth to get correct invoices to enter competition. Then wouldn't return invoices for our tax purposes....office had no copying facilities. Waste of time

Had a lovely experience here. Highly friendly staff at the movies, bird park, as well as the casino. I will definetely be going back again!

Amazing quality, spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, stones throw walk to lots of entertainment and dining spaces. Wonderful place to catch up with friends and family even if you aren't staying.

Everybody goes there. We often go to the Pieter Toerien theater for wonderful shows - recently for the Simon and Garfunkel show, awesome!

If being in a crowd makes you nervous, this may not be the good time to visit Montecasino.

It feels like you have stepped into another country. The decor is authentic, I can almost imagine the lady in Italy hanging her laundry out the window. Wonderful selection of restaurants.

This is the most interesting place in Johannesburg, they provide awesome pleasant ambience inside Monte casino where you can spend whole of your day enjoying. You can click lots of pics with beautiful background s at various spots inside casino. Hundreds of casino table s to play games, thousands of different types of playing machines to bet and try your luck. There's a bird sanctuary outside casino where you can see all types of South Africa n Bird s.

I love Monte Casino. It is always clean and nice. The staff can be a bit friendlier, they do not even smile.

Great food. Great entertainment and a perfect spot to play a few machines or go for a night or day out. Also a lovely bird park if you want to do something outside.

Good vibe. Not enough options when it comes to restaurants outside with some sun.

It has a nice vibe, but it's a place that one can get easily lost in.

Good restaurants, gambling, movies, a bookshop,retail shops, entertainment for children, live shows including international acts. Also boasts a bird and reptile park, with ongoing educational shows and conservation initiatives.

Very nice variety of things to do, Monte is culture driven always thriving to bring entertainment, whether at the teatro or the movies... It is also nice to have dinner of any choice before or after such activities.

But there must be supermarket inside eg Woolworths food

Awesome place and a great place for a family day out

It was really nice ,but the waitors at the different restaurants were not trained properly about the Ferrari competition.We would have to walk all the way back to the restaurant yo get the slip sighned. And we short R14 more to spend to get 2 tickets but nobody told us that.The place and the bird park was spectacular.We also attend the birdshow.

Feels like you are in another country. Assortment of entertainment and food outlets. Fun places for children, clean and neat environment.

Lunch at Texas Wing Bar was extremely dissapointing - Manager & Staff require Customer Service Skills &Training. The manager & waiter totally upset our celebratory mood esp. my family visiting from the coast. Suggest Hooters instead!

Went there to get lunch at Danny's House of Curries but it was closed so very disappointed.

This place is so amazing!! There is so much to do here. There is a place for a bit of gambling fun and also restaurants to wine and dine with the family. It is also a great place for a night out with a babe or friends.
There is also a book shop, jewelry store that is so amazing.
There is a small kiddie section.
Need to do a bit of clothing shopping??? There is also clothing stores available inside Monte Casino.

Variety of things to do, kids friendly. The place is always buzzing. Wonderful for a date night as well.

A great place for a family outing. There are a variety of great restaurants to pick from, and the farmers market is just across the road. There's also the casino to keep you busy. Potty there isn't an arcade for the little ones

It's a lovely place to have fun with family...with many restaurants ..indian ..Mexican. .Portuguese and all ...the pizza restaurants at the outdoors also offers hookah for the smokers

One of the best places I have visited and enjoyed every second of every minute. 8 hours spent there feels like 8 minutes...

The vide is amazing, the stying is immaculate, you cant do much better than monty on a Friday night

Fantastic for a night out. We went to the Teatro for a comedy show but there are plenty of bars and restaurants and a movie theatre as well.

This place is perfect for all the right reasons. Just imagine walking into a whole continent-- Europe!! It's a dazzling recreation of home away from home. Great space and attractions. Amazing food from all over the world. And a really wide casino... Try not to lose all your money haha. I recommend a visit if you ever come to SA. You won't regret it, I promise.
