Absolutely fabulous and safe. Great restaurants and entertainment. Only irritation is the car wash staff when parking. They often bump the vehicle's next to the ones they work on as well, with no concern whatsoever. Otherwise, in these scary days of crime in SA, this is a great venue for everything entertainment related.

I'm not a gambler, but I like the place for other services it offers. I've been to several restaurants there, and the food offering was great. I also liked the independent bookshop in the premises- it's well run and has a great selection of books.

Love the coffee shops and just wandering through some of their knick knack stores

Fun, variety of events on and worth going to in the evening. Ladies wear flat or wedges as the floors are challenging for heels. Parking affordable and very safe.

Johannesburg is one of my least favourite places in this world, however putting that aside, I can honestly say that Montecasino is a great place - if not one of the only places to go for some entertainment in the city. It's great for date nights at one of the many great restaurants they have on offer, it offers a range of activities for families and children, such as the cinema, bowling alley and arcade. The decor makes you feel as if you are in another country, although if you have travelled it can be considered rather corny. For an overnight stay in Johannesburg, if you have the budget for it, then they have a variety of hotels to choose from. There are also often events held here, whether it be screening of sports or live shows in the massive audatorium and at the comedy club.

Montecasino is simply wonderful. The indoor "city" area is beautiful and has lots of restaurants. I would definitely recommend coming to watch a musical here and stopping by a restaurant afterwards!

If you like slots, movies,shopping, relatively fine dining and plays. This is the place for you.

It's always pleasure to visit Montecasino. And Billy G is our favorite dining restaurant. It's an all you can eat buffet, what more can you ask for.

Stupendous, fantabulous and incredibly stunning place to enjoy with family and friends. It's one of the must-visit place in Gauteng. It's like a small town with antique decorations within the city. It's got casino, theaters and lot of shops, cafes and food chains. Plus it has one of the biggest bird park where you can spend the whole day with your family.

My purse was stolen at Monte Casino. On the cameras they could see a black gentlemen took my purse and went to the bathroom. Monte Casino can not supply me with the name of the black gentlemen who took my purse according to them he played with a players card. Im sure you must supply you ID and name when you het a players card

The Movies there are really affordable. Great chilling spot for your family and friends. Great for old and young people.

Wide range of restuarants for whatever mood you are in or even if you are undecided.
Always a good vibe and easy to get in and out.
Be careful when leaving though, especially if you had a few, as cops are notorious around the area. Rather be safe and Uber.

Great place. Even after all these years. A great selection of newer restaurants catering to different budgets. A few favourites are La Rosa and FireRoom.

Large Casino and mall. The theme is that of an Italian town, and it carries throughout the whole place, there is a lot of attention to detail it really feels like you have been transported elsewhere. The selection of restaurants spans many different culinary styles. For entertainment there is a live theater a movie theater and a comedy club. Children would enjoy the bird park, arcade and Lazer tag. If you need to relax there is a Thai spa as well.

The Laser Tag was an amazing experience. The magic company's arcade was fun too.

Even if you're not into gambling, there will be something here for you. We spent the day visiting the bird gardens, which was wonderful, played ten pin bowling as well as laser tag- all of which was great fun. There are many places to shop- be it clothing, souvenirs, books or candy- you will find it. And of course, a food court with a variety of stores or if you're looking to be a little more fancy- many restaurants to visit.

Really great place for a meal or a night out. There are lots of good restaurants and places to go. They have two great production theatres and a very cheap movie house that plays the latest movies.

Parking can be a bit of a mission though when they have events on, so plan accordingly as not to be late.

They have themed the complex really well inside and out and it gives the complex an amazing atmosphere that is hard to beat. Make sure you look up at the ceiling to enjoy the attention to detail that they have put in to make everything flow.

I don't visit Monte Casino often but when I go there it is always joyful and pretty to appreciate the decor of the place. Even on the outside the fountains are clean and beautiful.

It's my go to place in Joburg! There is a whole lot of things a person can do there watch movies, free WiFi and game store.

I thoroughly enjoyed the bird show, food, etcetera. All good for mind, body and soul. Felt rejuvenated. A must visit, everyone!

Always loads to see and do - meaning that at times the place can seem ridiculously packed. The choice of restaurants is always great. After many years Monte remains one of the destinations to take friends and relatives for an entertaining day or evening out.
