Ciao Baby Cucina Review

We had a great family lunch at Billy G, there was however a lot of inconvenience as the restaurant manager had cancelled our reservation. So all 21 of us had to be registered and tagged upon arrival, this caused about an hour delay as there was a queue of other guests. They then gave us a table upstairs as 'a plan' since ours was now given to other customers. The upstairs buffet was not properly equipped which meant that some food items were downstairs, since we were with the elderly this proved to be a serious problem. Even waiters seemed to prefer to he downstairs so this meant we had to endure long waiting for even a glass of water. The food was great when we could finally eat but the experience could have been the best had the basic issue of bookings, ushering and waiters been dealt with professionally as one would expect from a restaurant of Billy G level. So for that reason I rate them low.

They think its italy. But there is a significant difference. Even that they made it quite nice. Casino is nice. Lots of restaurants around and nice cinema.

Monte is always cool. I always have a good time here... vibe is great and its always buzzing.

Tons of parking. Loads of entertainment for young and old. An arcade, bowling, laser tag, movies @, restaurants and shops, bird park and outdoor area. The casino floor has multiple smoking sections too. This is a wonderful place to chill and have a good time, not forgetting Cantare club. Only downside is that lots of casinos offer free parking with a member's card, Monte doesn't. I suppose it's a business and so you just have to form out R10 extra to park.

The ultimate casino and dining experience in the country. Been going there for years and never get tired of it. The timeless design always keeps it relevant. Great choice of places to eat at all price points. Gaming is abundant and never feels overcrowded.

Montecasino is an amazing place to be with family and friends, I'd suggest you go there for family outings

Took my visitation cousins form Tanzania to dinner at 3sixty bar,decent food,good portions at decent prices comparable to sour but less busy. Monte in general is smaller than it looks outside, if you're not going to the arcade or theater then your options are limited to a few restaurants and the casino.all in all a great place,

Food places range from Chinese, Indian, Italian to delis

Day tripper can also opt to go to bird park next door good fun for kids and they have nice bird shows, a lot of exotic birds like flamingo etc

Kids playing area has so many games and options to play that you will get tired but games will not end

Movies section is great too with more than 4-5 screens and very good quality set up

Fabulous as always....i was there between 10am and 12pm and I swear it the best time of the month or day to go and basket in it, you can go site seeing, shop and eat with a peace of mind...it was truly a Zen experience .... no human traffic or congestion best visit thus far!

Always a great day/evening out. Great food and entertainment for everyone. Has a food court or lovely restaurants. If you want to sit outside the piazza is the place to eat. There is an arcade where the kids can play.

Montecasino is a great place to visit. It has really good options for eating for various dietary needs. I do miss the regular street performers, like the clowns and magicians. There is a good choice for entertainment. They have a magic company and a lazer tag arena. They have a cinema that's affordable than most with reasonable but still expencive snack prices. I really enjoy Monte, I always feel so welcomed when I'm there.

Service is great. Staff are friendly. Creche facility is phenomenal and the staff there are fabulous with my children

Little share of faux Italy. Always bustling, great places to eat. Dining inside or all fresco. Teatro is a must visit for good shows.

Loved staying @ Sunsquare Hotel. Saw the most magical Christmas show on Christmas day.

Visited the bird park, was awesome and the bird show, I will highly recommend anyone to go there.

Great indoor entertainment for the kids. The Piatta fountain is also great, but a playground and some more kids activities would make this more of a hit with families.

Beautiful place! Tons of stuff to do and alot of good stuff to buy. The restaurants are also amazing. A replica of an Italian street!

Its a great family for a family retreat. Vacation amd some individual time.. Its kids friendly and above all it is very well maintained

Service good. My fillet steak seemed to be cooked and looking pale and tasteless. Potatoes okay. Tinned mushrooms etc tasted okay.

Casino and hotel. There are also a wide variety of restaurants to choose from if you just eantba bite to eat. These range from fancy sophisticated ones to family orientated ones to fast food joints. A cinema and Two theaters are available for your general entertainment as well as an arcade for the kids.

Must visit if in joburg. Absolute must. Amazing place. Too many restaurants to choose from.

My boyfriend and I love coming to Monte, we even have Monte cards and it's a great to come to Monte as a treat and night out. But for some reason at 4pm on a FRIDAY afternoon, the Roulette tables were all only R25 tables. When we asked why the dealer told us the R10 tables are only available on weekends? This has never occurred on Friday when we have come here before. Very disappointed

It's an amazing experience for my child the show by the park rangers was awesome and a lot of work was put into training the animals. Very nice

Went to the Mangwanani Spa at the Pivot. A wonderful luxurious experience. Went to Calcachio's for cocktails afterwards. Great service and yummy choice of cocktails.

We had a good time with my son at the movies also visited the book shop .

It is a great place to visit with the whole family, with friends or just great for date night. It has variety of things to do, you can go bowling, play games with the kids, watch movies or just have a stroll around or even enjoy the great food from one of the restaurants.

When I visit Montecasino I feel like I am transported into a Tuscan Wonderworld. I just love the cobbled walkways and the inside-but-not-inside dining experiences. The ambiance outside the Teatro feels sophisticated, authentic and relaxed. Everything about this place is just magical, from the lighting to the patina on the walls of the buildings.

We visit the bird park, super clean, great staff and good birdshow. We also enjoy a lunch. The food was good and service excellent

It's a great place to visit when one happens to be around Joburg, they have, hotels, casino, restaurant's n a movie house

This is the only casino that has a fantastic vibe each and every time I go there. There's so many places to eat at and a wide variety of foods and things to do. There is a bird park, bowling, theatre and so much more

We had a lovely time at the Doritos Festival de Mexico Halloween fiesta. The venue was great. The artists who performed were amazing. 5FM just needs to be a better host. Too many long pauses after the artists had performed.

Has a wide range of fully functional restaurants with many specials. Casino is open and follows Covid protocol. A relatively quick outing for the family.

Donatella's food was amazing and now with the covid and social distancing, there isn't much people. Very peaceful and I found macaroons so I'm happy.

It's hard to give a single rating like this for a place with so many different shops and facilities. Past slightly higher prices there is a good chance you'll find something that will entertain you here. From a very wide range of restaurants to 10 pin bowling to book shops, and loads more. Not ignoring the actual casino which looked very lively (not tried it yet myself). Well worth a visit with friends or family.

Who does not love Monte Casino ? Best entertainment hub ever .always love it there

This is most famous casino of the country. It is attracted by visitors and tourists 24*7 and it is well maintained. The architecture of the it quite good and it caters to many other things other than casino like food courts, premium stays, bowling alley, theatre etc.

It is absolutely gorgeous here. It is as if you are walking around a small italian village.

Today I was disappointed. Some of my favorite restaurants have closed down,due to COVID-19. It's still a good place to entertain oneself and the children though.

The ambiance and service is of a bery high standard. We had a breakaway for our anniversary.The rooms and facilities promotes relaxation. Also the staff is very engaging and we were impressed by the housekeeping team
