Nice entertainment and eating out place esp3with the kids.

Hi, we stayed at the Southern Sun Montecasino on Saturday night - its a 4 star hotel but i give them a 5 star rating for room and hotel cleanliness and overall excellent service - well done and keep it up - we will be staying with you again in the near future -

Best place to visit as well as best casino to play..

It's a great place. They must work on movies. They must bring more movies and good movies. They need to improve their movies

Unfortunately very quiet at the moment during lockdown, but still a great getaway

Once you step into monte casino you have literally stopped into a different world. You can't even tell the time by looking at the sky as it has its own inbuilt sky. There are so many activities to partake of here from bowling to the arcade to movies. You will most definitely have a great time here

Stimulating visual experience. Many games, movies, play areas, a wide variety of eateries, hotel and casino.

Not a huge fan of the cobble stone floors and can difficult to navigate the first few visits.

Pay upon entry, last I checked it was R10.

It's relaxing with great entertainment. It's a fun place for the whole family....

Texan Wing Bar has a good menu. The burgers are gr8. Good place to just hang out and chill. Gr8 place to watch spot. Gr8 service.

Monte is absolutely amazing, with everything( it has a romantic feel)... Restaurants serve the most mouthwatering meals.

The ambience is great. Lovely Italian setting. Food and drinks are moderately expensive. A good place for a small gathering and outing with friends.

The different staff at different outlet s are quite courteous, and response time is quite appreciable. The ambience is really really good and I sincerely loved the experience. Surely, I'll go there again, over and over.

This place looks like an open Street with different shops , cafes and casino inspired from streets in Italy

Monte was awesome, as usual. Effects of Covid clearly visible by the many vacant spaces but I'm sure they'll make a full recovery soon!!!

Clean, Upper-Class, not too crowded, fresh food, cheap movies, ample parking, in it's a class by itself, set apart from the rest, my grandson enjoying himself at Montecasino

Still an awesome place to be. Place has changed alot with nice new restaurants being added. Its always evolving and no matter how often you come here it never gets boring.

Went to Donatello for lunch with the family it was absolutely love. We all enjoyed our food and I tried something different and was also really impressed by their pasta. Yummie want it right now!

Amazing place to hang out with friends and family. The Italian-style decor is magnificent. There is also a lovely fountain area, bowling alley, massage parlor, restaurants and cinemas.

Nice "Date Day or Date Night" place for couples or simple friends outing. The pizza place directly across from MeatCo is PHENOMENAL. Please stop by and try out!!!

Good casino experience and well maintained. Biggest downside is that it is extremely crowed everywhere you go. Maybe Friday nights is not the best time to go!

Great place to eat out. Loads of restaurant choices from steak houses to seafood, Chinese food and everything in between. If you like gambling the casino will be just right for you and there's a Theater for Shows. Some shopping opportunities too, a bowling alley etc etc. Great for a afternoon or evening out.

Montecasino is beautiful! I would highly recommend at least stopping by and take a walk around the inside. There are many restaurants with outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. The architecture was incredible! Indoors, they had half the building as a "night scene" and there other half had "day scene" where the ceilings were painted with either dark skies or light skies that give a different atmosphere in both areas. Also indoors, the buildings give a very Italian feel. Definitely a must visit if you visit Johannesburg! (Very kid friendly)

Good food options, happy vibe, safe parking. Just to stroll around is enjoyable as there's so much to see.

There's everything for a casino and I luv that Boeing jet parked for kids to get up close

While some of the restaurants are really very good, the atmosphere is a typical Vegas style phoney casino in which you can only tell the time of day in one spot. I don't like environments like this at all. So I ate well, but fundamentally disapprove of venues like this. But then, what choice do you have in Johannesburg? Don't come to this city. It feels unsafe, people tell me I can't walk anywhere and it's too large and unequal for its own good.

Wonderful experience, Christmas lights are so beautiful and it feels like another world to enjoy.

Monte casino was absolutely gorgeous, a place that has been beautifully conceptualized. It made me feel as though I was trapped/transported into a completely different time zone. I was literally blown away, I loved every minute of it and I even lost track of time.

I find it a place to suck in the beauty of architecture, sight seeing, food, play games, have fun and any other thing.

I had fun it's my team. You have finger-licking KFC there and several other shops to eat.

If you want to shop for just anything, you have a range of things rknchoose from.

When you go there, be prepared not to leave in 30-90 minutes, it isn't huge place and it will take you some time to explore all the beauty.

Just popped in for a walk around. Always fun, interesting shops and of course loads of restaurants.

A very beautiful and amazing place. The place captures the Italian environment quite well. There's a lot of activities that also accommodate kids. We went to a couple of restaurants there, the service is impeccably and the food is delicious.

Monte is a vibe. Danny's Curry is just about the best curry ever. Lima bar is my favourite place to chill on a Friday evening.

I had lots of fun at the magic company even though some of the things were not open due to Covid, it was still fun

It's got everything and more, safari tours, water parks for the kids golf if that's your thing 3 courses to choose from. Great service great food.
