Great family glamping weekend. Children loved the site and animals and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the extra luxuries included in the glamping package. Staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Went to the cafe for having lunch. But it took ages even for a cup of coffee to be served. It actually took like 20-30mins for our coffee/drinks to come to the table. For the meals took further 15-20 mins or so. I ordered full english breakfast, but after 45 mins waiting it came with already cold toast and tomato, only beans were warm. I just realized now that no mushrooms were on it although the menu on the webpage says so. My wife ordered hot sandwitch, but it came up as a cold sandwich (no toasted). But i didn't ask to change to the hot one as it surely will take another half an hour or so! I also so the other family with only a dad's meal not been served and left alone with mum and kids finishing all their meals... It was a disaster.

We've ordered our Xmas food 2 years in a row from this farm, wonderful food. This year the delivery company failed and the farm drove a replacement out to us directly on Xmas eve - fantastic service, thank you so much!!

The best place in the area to stop for a cup of tea and a cake in the sun. I regularly stop there when I'm passing on a bike ride. The savoury food is also excellent, with much of it sourced from the farm itself.

Been to the cafe here a fair few times whilst out cycling. Great homemade food although the service can be a little slow at peak times when the place is full of cyclists. Also, often the food arrives long before the drinks which is a downside. Still, the quality of the food makes it worth it.

I called in to camp for one night while passing on my way north and was made to feel very welcome by all of the staff, especially the lovely Carly. A gorgeous site with a farm shop, cafe, and pub just across the road. I can't wait to go back.

Great place for kids and camping, loads to do for kids and pub, shop and cafe pretty much on site for those that can't be bothered cooking.. Camping is basic, with no allocated pitches and compost toilets, though you can have open fires. Would be five stars but for the camping cost, which is expensive for the facilities. A tenner to feed the chickens and collect some eggs felt a bit excessive too.

Went for a Sunday morning breakfast with my 2 youngest. Our first visit and were very impressed. I had the full English, which was cooked to perfection including my scrambled eggs which unlike most cafes didn't arrive like a solid overcooked mass. Even my 6 and 7 year olds mentioned how nice their meals were and they are fussy. Service was impeccable, giving us enough time to choose without taking too long and even bothered to come over a couple of times to make sure everything was ok.
If I had to make any criticism it would be to improve their coffee brand, which I found to be only average. That might only be my personal taste though.
Unfortunately a phone call arrived and stopped us going on the farm walk, so I guess that's for next time.
Very recommended.

Pleasant place, Superlative sausages on sale. Somewhat under-sized scones (order 2 in the cafe), and bring your own decaff ground coffee as they don't sell proper decaff, only instant decaff. otherwise lovely.

I really enjoyed my time at this campsite. The shop and cafe and tractors are great as was the barbecue and big haybales to play on. I have quite high standards for camping so for what this is its great. A proper shower and toilet block with washing facilities would improve things a lot. Maybe there was this up at the reception but that was a long walk from our field.

Stopped here after a long walk and whilst we've been numerous times before this was our first visit since February and their new regime. The cafe was only doing cake, sandwiches and drinks. The pub across the road was where you went for hot food.
To be expected there was a reduced choice and outside seating with table service. The food we had was very good and all served in 100% recyclable or biodegradable containers. The staff were efficient and friendly. However, we fully understand the need to minimise cross contamination at this time but if we'd been asked, we didn't need sugar (brown and white) or eight sachets of sauce (brown and red) or plastic cutlery (not sure if this is recyclable). Hopefully these will be re-used and not just discarded for fear of 'contamination'. We only saw one black waste bin and perhaps some identifiable bins so customers can sift their own recyclable and non recyclable items before leaving.
Yes we'd go again

Had lunch there yesterday and it was awful, mushrooms burnt overcooked and tomatoes and bacon had all the burnt bits from the pan on them it was totally inedible so returned it to the kitchen and was very surprised to see the cook/chef had headphones on clearly not that into taking pride in his cooking and I don't think he could speak English anyway a nice young waited was very understanding and so we got it replaced but I wish we hadn't as what we got back wasn't much better I would have brought this up again but quite frankly we were starving by that point....and had to eat some.So its a shame as its a lovely place just wish they could do justice to the won

I only went in the farm shop and was disappointed. Most of the meat is pre packed and frozen...very little fresh. The same bread that you could buy from the supermarket but more expensive. A few jams and pickles and not much else....not impressed

This place is amazing. We spent a whole day here and still didn't see it all. They have a lot of farm animals, farm machines that the little ones are usually amazed by, a big park for the little ones can play around, all sorts of little tractors and playhouses they can get busy by for hours, a very good shop, with farm producrs, a nice and cozy cafe, inside and outside sitting areas for all the weather, a toy barn and many many more. They even have a camping site and little lodges you can hire fir an overnight stay. Great great place!!!

We visited in October 2019, for the Halloween trail and pumpkin carving.
Last year we had gone to Marsh Farm in Essex (that review is here) so it was nice to go somewhere near to home.
Church Farm has many animals:- cows, pigs, chickens, goat's etc. The boys liked it.
We had a tractor ride around the farm.
We carved our pumpkins and the boys visited the hayfields.
There is a cafe there too and a pub nearby as well.
It's well worth a visit.

Had a lovely cream tea in the cafe which was very reasonable. Great farm trail for the kids and a longer circular walk. Dogs have to be kept on a lead. There is a small charge for the farm trail but you do get to meet lots of animals. Feed available to buy at the farm shop which also sells locally grown fruit and vegetables and meats. Not really suitable for wheelchairs unless it is an off roader. Great way to spend some time in the countryside. Glamping also available on site

Brilliant place for a ramble around the animals with the kids, really beautiful walk under hazel trees, surrounded by butterflies and wildflowers. The less said about lunch the better though, just go with plenty of patience!

Lovely farm shop. Great for camping also and very pleased the loos are mostly compostable rather than horrid plastic things.
Pub service was a bit slow (very busy and it was Covid time so I m sure they were all trying hard).

A really good little farm and definitely worth a visit. They have all the traditional farmyard animals that you'd expect to see and really enjoyed the food in the cafe although the portions were small and expensive. The staff were all great and our little boy had a nice day out.

We are going for a third weekend stay with the grandchildren, they really enjoy playing with other children on the hay bales, playing games with footballs, swing balls etc amd walking around feeding the animals. We take our own small bbq, and toast marshmallows around a little campfire which you buy from the farm shop. Nice food in the pub just outside the camp. The egg collecting was fun but expensive so we only did it once. Relaxing good old fashioned fun.

What a nice place for a family day out! A well designed farm which allow us especially with children to learn everything and meet all the animals in a farm. We visited the cafe too and had the full English breakfast there. The food is supreme! Highly recommend it.

We stayed for the weekend, expensive Camping for what you get, no proper facilities, portaloos for toilets and then they have a drinking water tap between a compost toilet and a portaloo. Disgusting. No security so you get randoms coming along for meetings . The farm is a bit of a joke, hardly any real animals, children s play area is dangerous. No real signage for Camping so you end up wondering if your actually in the right place!

I ll never return. There is so much better camping out there.

Very good place to get some fresh air and stay in direct contact with the nature.

Just a bit disappointed as now you have to pay for the entrance on top of the animal seeds. But still worth, especially during spring or summer.
