Stopped here after a long walk and whilst we've been numerous times before this was our first visit since February and their new regime. The cafe was only doing cake, sandwiches and drinks. The pub across the road was where you went for hot food.
To be expected there was a reduced choice and outside seating with table service. The food we had was very good and all served in 100% recyclable or biodegradable containers. The staff were efficient and friendly. However, we fully understand the need to minimise cross contamination at this time but if we'd been asked, we didn't need sugar (brown and white) or eight sachets of sauce (brown and red) or plastic cutlery (not sure if this is recyclable). Hopefully these will be re-used and not just discarded for fear of 'contamination'. We only saw one black waste bin and perhaps some identifiable bins so customers can sift their own recyclable and non recyclable items before leaving.
