Great food but extremelly loud. Hard to hear the people next to you. Dont like this last fact at all so I would not go back soon. Also, not having valet parking for such a high level place does not make sense. Bring a bag of quarters and spend 10 to 15 minutes looking to park. Not worth it for me since I am in my seventies.

We had been planning this very special valentines day dinner for weeks. I do understand it was a busy night. My filet was very undercooked, i ordered medium well. They happily took it back but it still came back not done properly. Only one out of the two the lobster tail was perfect, the other one was extremely over. The mac and cheese was dry and just not good. Our calamari appetizer was extremely salty. We were coming her to have an amazing dinner and our expectations were absolutely not met. We did let the manager know and he was very nice about everything. The waitress was very lovely. Unfortunately we will not be coming back to Christy s restaurant. I have been told how amazing it was, and that was not what we got.

Worst place. I was here on my anniversary and I was not impressed. Also needs a good cleaning. I'll bet they will be out of business in a few years.

The service was great and thr atmosphere was epic! If only the food could be Better, it would be a five start restaurant....my stake was burnt and dry.....if you want have a glass of wine, it is great...but do not recommend the food.....

Grat drinks, food and ambiance but it is expensive.

The food was okay but our waiter was terrible. We were a party of six and gratuity was added to the bill but this guy never came to check on us, failed to list the specials because he "forgot" and when we wanted to place our order or get the bill he had to be flagged down.

I wish I could give 10 stars!! The food was amazing! Tasty, full of flavor, and service was impeccable!

If you re going to bring out the top hat and the lavender gloves Wodehouse-style, by all means do so at this timeless eatery. If not, our family will gladly do it for you. Oysters Rockefeller, salmon, and baked Alaska are something to write home about. Toodle pip!

Spectacular service and delicious food! Love coming here. It s a perfect atmosphere for a more private dinner like an anniversary. Classic piano music , mouthwatering food, great service....worth spending every penny. Absolutely Love it.

Nice and classic Gables steakhouse. Decor a bit dated but Prime Rib makes up for.

Sad to see a community staple fall so far from grace or in this case restaraunt lore. First the servers are not very friendly or even happy. Secondly, we were told throughout the ordering process of all the special and items they no longer had available on a day where only four tables were in use. So 28 minutes for a drink to arrive. Food took so long our party of 9 actually forgot what we ordered; only two tables had patrons by the time we started to eat at 8:45pm. Now I understand why after so many years the location is empty and it s sort of sad. Not an employee in sight for so long we joked about serving ourselves and definitely no leadership/management around. Best wishes to the absent management on turning it around since it would make me sad to see the history end. I issued two stars because I can t bring myself to give it a one star as compared to a fast food establishment. The food was still good but it s just not worth the wait or frustrating service level.

I had Filet mignon ,caesar salad awesome and the service was great

Went here for the 1st time three weeks ago. The ribeye was the best I've ever had & service was 1st class....Am going again tonight to celebrate my 81st birthday.

We return and return and return. Both their fish and meat dishes are outstanding. They never overcook their vegetables. They go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and happy with the service. They have a great wine list and you can actually carry on a conversation with your dinner companions without yelling at the top of your lungs. And the environment is low key, pleasant, and relaxing. Go and you too will go again and again.

Awesome place. It has been a long time since I have been to such a classic and great restaurant. The lamb I had and everything everyone else had was spot on. I will definitely be going back again, I hope.

I love the entire EXPERIENCE of eating at Christy's; from the most delicious filet mignon I've ever eaten in Miami/Coral Gables, to the exemplary service, the atmosphere and there wine list. Just SUPERB, absolutely worth the trip and expense

Terrible service, located at an unattractive location. Food was ok but not worth the price.

Great place with food and services was awesome. Manager from the start greeted us an was very detail to every thing.

I am reluctant to write review but maybe some good will come of it. I will be the first to agree that Christy's has a long and time honored reputation as a fine dining establishment. I also have my own fond memories of dining at Christy's But my experience this past Friday evening was far from the Christy's I remember. The result was that after waiting for over 20 minutes for the waiter to just visit our table, we got up and left the restaurant. Oddly enough during our wait the busboy removed the two additional place settings from the table and our water glasses were filled at least three times. There was a table of guests at the end of the room, possibly one or two more tables behind me and a party of three at a table directly across the aisle from me. However, for some reason we were just invisible to the waiter as he passed by our table numerous during our wait...while drinking lots of Miami-Dade Spring Water. So, in the end we left Christy's and visited another restaurant located nearby on Ponce where we met a sympathetic host, given two attentive waiters and had a wonderful dinner.

Christy's has been in Coral Gables as long as I have -- which is now 4 decades. I only went in college when someone richer than I paid, but since I've acquired a few dollars, I am able to go frequently. Recently, we hosted friends who had not been in 20 years -- and it was the same as they remembered it! The prime rib is tops, as are the Caesar salads. Martinis are well poured. Don't go for culinary adventure -- go for great food and fine service. Also, the "new" bar (since '08, I think) is terrific for a happy hour.

Christys is a well known restaurant and I have to say it lives up to its name. The moment you walk in you are greeted in such a kind manner. The menu has a variety of steak cuts and their side dishes are shareable. I have been here several times and have not had a bad experience. I recommend dining here, even if it s for a special occasion.

Been to christys before with a great experience however, we went yesterday for fathers day and the service had degraded considerably such as , we have to ask for the bread , once the salad was served the waiter did not ask us for the salt and pepper will not return

Best dinner! The food was wonderful, I had the filet it was very tender and cooked to perfection. The salad was very good. The bread that is brought to the table was excellent. Had baked Alaska for dessert. Excellent dinner!

We went on a Friday evening for dinner we were a party of 11. We went had chose to eat from the Miami Spice menu. Our food was good but we had such horrible service that I had to give this restaurant a 2 star review. Realistically speaking I will never go back to this restaurant I called the manager and still to this date a Week and a half later they have not called me back instead they called someone else in the party because it was who the reservations were under. Really Disappointed.

I adore this spot! They provide sensational food, their menu is decent, The chief cook in that place is a real pro, I love very much trying all their dishes. The dishes are consistently of high qualtity, the attitude towards the visitors is nice. I frequently visit this place and I was never discontended. I recommend this place.

Best steakhouse in Miami, possibly Florida. Caesar salad is out of this world.

I just left the restaurant now on valentine's night and I really can't believe my experience. I've been coming to eat here for special occasions for years now but tonight was really not good. 1st of all what I used to brag was the best calamari in town was now completely over salted. 2nd my girlfriend's steak was undercooked sent back and again returned undercooked. I ordered the tomahawk special with two lobster tails and the steak was over. Not that good honestly. One of the lobster tails was fine and the other was completely over cooked. I told the manager and even had him poke the rock hard lobster tail. All in all they took a couple of dollars off the check for all that and I spent 250 on food I didn't like. Never again. If management would like to double check my story we were the vallerio party of 2 at 7pm. The nice waitress with the braces was our server which was the best part of the night. Btw we were at Fleming's the night of January 1st and it was amazing. There are other options in town.

Five stars! The home brewed micro beer is amazing and the wine is even better and the food is better than the fancy hotel across the street. Really great food and atmosphere! Upstairs balcony is great for groups and private dinners. Excellent food! Great company.

Christy's offers an increasingly rare upper-class, old world, elegant dining experience. It's expensive, no doubt - not the kind of place I'd go regularly. But the ambiance is unique in it's mid-century refinement.

Christy's Restaurant is an amazing place for steak. I have had some of the best filet mignon I have ever had. This restaurant is a Miami classic and it is totally worth the money and the waits. I recommend this restaurant to steak lovers.

Not Good. We had a family celebration and the food was not what we expected.

I really enjoyed my lunch there. I had the prime rib sandwich with au jus for lunch and it did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is very nice and elegant. The staff is friendly and provides great service. I can't wait to go back to try their dinner selections.

Excellent steak and sides selection. They cooked our meal to perfection but the dessert was just ok. The atmosphere could use a little updating. It feels like your granpa's favorite steak place. Although it's not as good as other places in the Gables, it's still very much worth a visit.

Christy's is still Christy's. We came for Miami Spice and it was very very good. The Caesar salad, rack of lamb, key lime pie and the brownie were all delicious. Service was elegant and attentive, ambiance was exactly as it has always been, very men's club and old style, but so comfortable to be there. Just a very nice, very satisfying dining experience. Of course we'll go back. We always do.

This place in the middle of Coral Gables doesn't have parking so after got there I had to look for a parking on the street finally a was able to get one and walked to the restaurant once there I was told you are late for your reservation, I walked away from this place and won't come back, this happened a Saturday at night. They don't have an idea of something called SERVICE.

Best Cesar salad in the world

in miami there are all the chains, and thy're all good. but there is only one christy's, and it is great, and that's why it is my favorite steakhouse.

I liked their staff's attitude; they're very polite and welcoming. This restaurant serves delicious and reasonably priced food. This was a great experience for us. I'll be back really soon!

Horrible service
They didn t want to give us a table because we had are son with us .

This is my friend's favorite restaurant and my first time. I took him there for his birthday. Everything was wonderful the food, the atmosphere, the server until they sat a family with two children behind us. One little girl talked so loudly I could hear everything she was saying and I couldn't even hear my friend from across the table. You could hear her banging on the table and singing. I didn't think Christy's was this type of restaurant. So I found the atmosphere uncomfortable thus the three stars. I didn't know what the protocol was but it seemed like any server or manager walking by would have realized that this child was being too loud. A birthday party all the way in the corner kept turning around looking at the child. That's how loud she was. Should I ever go there again I'll make a point of saying put me someplace where you are going to put children.

Tomahawk cut Ribeye was phenomenal and good appetizers as well.

Wonderful atmosphere and attentive waiters and waitresses. Just left here for my anniversary weekend. My new go to place whenever I decide to come to Miami again.

Beautiful restaurant, amazing food, good service. For appetizers: shrimp cocktail and ahi tuna were both a win! For entree: The miso salmon was delicious!

Everything was wonderful. The only improvement would have been to trim a little more of the fat off of my prime N.Y.Strip which was excellent once you got past the fat on the edges.
