It was fun, but it sucks that they close down for 8 hours from 2am to 10am. Casinos should be open 24/7.

Completely barbaric to have to walk my 7 year old daughter through tons of cigarette smoke in order to get to our breakfast buffet! Shame on you!

Love the view, the ocean, the shows, the gaming. Not a fan of all the bleach in the rooms they use to "clean up" the cigarette smell, was over-kill and made my eyes water and gave me a headache, even after airing it out all afternoon. The buffet is a little over-priced, $25/person, and the food isn't the best at the buffet. The bar had good food though, spent $50 and fed 4 people.

Always a delight! The service is wonderful, the rooms are well appointed and the views are breathtaking.

Upon check in front desk Nicholas awesome guy!!! Fast service got us checked in right away. Any questions we had he answered right away! We enjoyed our stay!!! We will back again !!! Thank you

I did NOT go there 2 days ago, it was yesterday, 10/21/2019..Haven't been there for a couple of years, my church going friend who doesn't gamble, talked me into it. Glad she did, we both played on their "dime"...

I enjoyed the live music ...Good entertainment comedy show, Motel bar & restaurant , nice atmospherer waterfall inside the Casino and lots of different crouds of people , machines have good pay outs, great customer service, will be back next time I'm traveling to the coast...

Euchre Creek Deli, Chinook Buffet, Rogue River Steak House, Chinook's Seafood Grill, and the floor bar on the gaming floor; Chonook winds and their friendly servers and bartenders have you covered for food and drink. Playing the slots and its hot? The cocktail waitresses and slot team have you covered if you need a beverage or a potty break. Shake your groove thang in the Rogue River Room with the DJ on Friday and Saturday nights from 10:30pm-2am. If it's a concert night you might just get lucky and get to dance with someone famous!

Slot machines galore. Excellent theater for popular bands. All you can eat diner upstairs. Set a limit and stick to it! I.M.O.

Slots for tight the personnel could have a little more smile and a little more attitude of happiness the place is dirty needs to be cleaned

The smoke was so thick I couldn't see across the room and came out smelling like I'd been smoking fit years even though I was only in the resort a few minutes. We went to go to dinner at the buffet, but the smoke was even bad in the restaurant and we decided to go elsewhere because we value our health. It was busy though, parking was challenging. It looked like people were enjoying gambling though, and despite the intense smoke it appeared to be a clean decent resort. The view from the resort is amazing, gorgeous area to watch the sunset over the ocean.

I have not gambled. However, the choice in food is awesome. The view is breathtaking. I recommend the suites. Very comfortable and private. Lots of shopping nearby. We stay here every time we visit Lincoln City.

Went there for very first time after long trip from tenino washington great views in upstairs Resteraunt .lots of slot games to play husband won first jackpot there on 50 cent bet.Made for great trip!

Loved it very loose machines. I won $1364.00 on a 50cent bet. My wife won over $600.00 and she doesn't know many machines. We then went to spirit mountain casino on the way home and hit for over $1000.00. So casino 1 day total approximately $2600.00. That not a lot but it was way more than the $500.00 we went with. Check both out.

I don't really gamble but the buffet here is delicious and you can take a walk on the beach after and it's beautiful.

We did the Friday lunch buffet. First it's a casino you can breathe in. So our food experience was better. Lots of great food, servers are nice. And for me (senior) it was 11$. Good value. And we won (and lost) 3$.. yay!

Fun day I believe I was winning and then I lost it all back. You know what they say quit while your a head.

Let me start by saying I haven't been to a casino outside of Vegas before. The staff was nice and the drinks were not too expensive (but there 10 of us and no one got a free one). There were not very many tables compared to the huge number of slots and there was a lot of cigarette smoke. Overall we had fun but I probably wouldn't go back.

If you like to play this is the place to do it!! Table games or slot machines. Also grab a fast bite to eat or have a nice relaxing dinner. Child care is available on site.

This place is awesome, especially the seafood buffet on Friday, and they honor Vet's with a discount.Also you can drink and smoke indoors and gamble.

It's a casino. Rows and rows of zombie-like people staring at machines wasting money. Forget this place and get out on the beach guys!!

Awesome experience

I will explain my experience. I was driving to Tillamook with my wife and kids after a great afternoon at the beach. As I passed the golf course I was struck by a golf ball. I maintained control of my vehicle and went to the casino golf course where they explained to me that it s not their responsibility. After hours of trying to find a responsible party. The staff was great but the manager was horrible. My poor review wasn t that I didn t like the manager it s because this casino finds it acceptable to not put up any netting or fencing along the highway where their golf course meets the road. This negligence almost cost me and my family our lives the ball almost penetrated the driver side windshield and caused me to swerve into oncoming traffic, and they refuse to accept that it s their responsibility to ensure that their golf course does not interfere with traffic and risk the lives of the general public. The road was busy and there was no where to maneuver to safely avoid projectiles. The golf course refuses to take responsibility for this but instead finds it acceptable to place blame on their paying patrons that simply are there to enjoy a game of golf. Now the gentleman who hit the ball has to replace my windshield when this simply can be avoided by adding netting to the tree line. Stop risking public lives for simple entertainment. It s disgusting and if I had flinched even a little when the ball struck my windshield as I saw it flying toward my face many people would have been injured or worse. Put up protection. Show you actually care and do something about this instead of deflecting blame on the people who pay to play. Don t play here or your simple sign in fee could be much worse if you make a mistake.

The blackjack tables and sports book were the only positive aspects of my visit. Avoid the Rogue River Steakhouse. My husband and I ate dinner at the Rogue River Steakhouse on Saturday, November 30th, and we were very unhappy with the service we received as well as the subpar food. I ordered the baked brie as an appetizer and a salad for dinner. They brought my dinner salad out with his appetizer salad. I then had nothing to eat while my husband ate dinner until they brought out the brie. It was extremely sour and the outside was too tough. Our server was wonderful and said she would get it taken off the check. She then came back and said her supervisor Marie would only take $5 off the bill even though I only took one bite. I spoke to Marie and she explained that the restaurant could not afford to compensate patrons just for matters of taste. She refused to honor what our server had told us. This is a shocking way to treat patrons especially at a restaurant that is supposedly of a decent caliber. Definitely not a great business model to ensure customers will return.

Chill little place. People and staff are nice, the hotel wasn't as clean as I'd like but the casino is very clean.
Smaller casino. All in all nice place, will be back

Really enjoyed my time gambling. Staff spent extensive time cleaning equipment. Dealers were very friendly and happy to be dealing cards!!!

Nice and clean. We also had dinner in the restaurant. The food was good and service was efficient and fast.

Tight slots machines, tight bingo, very few small wins. Playing here is like giving a donation to offset the cost of its being closed during covid for months.

Unfortunately i was not staying there for the enjoyment of the casino, i had a "compact queen rm" it was just that "compact" didnt even have room for my suitcase to open. I could hear everything from the rooms around me. The door did not seal properly and cold air was an issue. I would not stay there again. The rooms were clean and why they received a 3 star.

This place is the worst in oregon. Rude staff!!! There comments to complaints bassicly say we don't give a F

Over all was good. Do not question the staff as to why you have to ask for drinks or food in the lounge if your not at the bar. Clearly they think your in the restaurant if your at the counter behind the bar..

Fun weekend with my wife. We played the slots and had a nice meal. She had a great steak and I had some moist and delicious salmon.

I came by because we were on our way to Newport from Astoria. The place looks great and the guests and staff were all very nice. Parking is a nightmare (pay for valet if available) great casino.

We have eaten at both the buffet and the main restaurant(Rogue River Steakhouse) and the buffet is what you would expect...good, but the main restaurant is out of control with portion size. The portions are huge! The price is huge! We just started splitting a meal they are so huge! You only have a view with the main restaurant. The buffet doesn't have a view of the ocean. We like the gambling as well. Nice.

We always love Chinook winds casino, they have great gaming, food, lodging,concerts and special events. Almost every weekend there is something going on and they even have a huge arcade and child care.if you sign up for the players club you get great package deals on lodging and dining as well.

My husband and I took our 3 kids to brunch at the buffet. Food was delicious and loved our options. Price was good too. Wonderful staff/waitress.

Terrible experience... lol. Dealers were slow. Food was just 'OK'... definitely a waste.

Nice casino buffet. Poker tournaments, but no live game action on a Sunday of spring break. Very disappointed. Casino was very clean, well staffed. The valet was very professional.

It was nice being in the casino and not coming away smelling like an old nasty ash tray. They are doing a decent job of dealing with COVID. I think they could be better with making sure the machines are getting wiped down more frequently. The machine tells you to push the service light when you leave a machine and they will come wipe it down. I did not see many people following that. I did see attendants walking around with cloth rags doing some wiping of the machines but they were not changing the rag out very often. They are closed right now for 2 weeks doing some deep cleaning so it would be great if when they open back up if they could be a bit better with that. Ultimately we had a very enjoyable time. Much better than in the past.

Won enough money to buy a Coach Purse at the outlet mall

I love the atmosphere, the staff are friendly and appear to be treated well. The slots are fun and they change them up adding variety. We won big there too...love going back every time.

Fun casino to play at, good selection of new and older video slots. Nice bar that gets quite busy on the weekends. Love playing bingo here. I highly recommend staying in the onsite hotel. Ocean front views from every room and no matter what time of year the rates are reasonable. Go for a couple days and have some fun

The room was cozy and clean, but we were on the ground level with a patio which was not picked up or cleaned. I walked outside and immediately tripped over a pair of shoes and sharp soda can that was cut in half to be an ash tray. Enjoyed the casino, which had lots of options for slot and table play. The restaurant had decent food with reasonable pricing.

Went to the casino for brunch. The service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and took very good care of us. The food was another story. The fried shrimp, eggs, and chicken were all cold. Cold enough I didn't eat them. The other stuff was fine. I was full when I left, but the food was nothing special. The positive was there was such a massive selection of food to choose from.

Also noted was a discount for Veterans.

Buffet not so good. Gambling is semi OK. Service and view are great.

Love this place! The gaming is fun and we love the buffet and the ocean view Rouge Lounge for food and drinks.

It was my first time at Chinook Winds and I really enjoyed myself. The only complained was it took 45 minutes just to get my chili cheese tots. The tots where cold but the chili was fresh

A favorite and it doesnt hurt I hit a Royal Flush on a poker machine for a grand last trip!
Love the hotel especially with my dog. Door opens out to the beach, nice views, clean comfortable rooms. Overpriced for the area but convienent.
The buffet is decent, Spirit Mountain is better but enjoyable. My only real beef here is $25 for Seafood Buffett and they can't spring for real butter for the crab. Was some kind of blend not up to the standards for Dungeness crab.
The casino is nice roomy, lot of choices if you like slots good selection I personally don't though I do enjoy sitting at the bar playing the poker machines
All in all fun place to stay play and eat!
