A fun place to spend a day or evening once in a while, a bit spendy but I've seen far worse.
A fun place to spend a day or evening once in a while, a bit spendy but I've seen far worse.
My husband and I love this Casino! So nice to have the hotel so close you can walk or if it's raining just take the shuttle.
We just had our wedding on 7/27 Lori the coordinator was great and she took care of everything.
there was never any worry and we had a great day she went full in-def with the details and being there to walk us through the ceremony
thank you again Lori sincerely Devin and Idalis Wood
well kept much nicer than Reno's casinos, and by far a better atmosphere on the floor, but the seafood buffet... there's NON BETTER.....
Lost $20 in 30 seconds, cause it's a casino. Buffett is ok, but quiche was rubbery with a mild old seafood taste to it...at least the mass made bacon was nice and crispy.
No smoking, has bingo, appropriate spacing, like their chowder, comp room
Very nice on the inside, there is smoking so please be aware. The non smoking area is not closed-in so you will still smell it. Fountain soda stations available for guests. Feel safe with the security around and dont make you feel uncomfortable.
The buffet was really good. Wide variety of food, everything tasted good. It wasn't too crowded for breakfast/brunch, but dinner was a little packed.
Out of all the casinos I have visited their machines are the tightest.
This is just about the casino I have not stayed at the hotel. The casino is fine it seems a little dirtier than most Native American casinos, but not terrible. Didn't love the dining options even though there were a few, they seemed overpriced and cheap. Lots of slot and table options and there have been some musical acts that they have got that were pretty good and entertaining. Over all not the best hotel not the best casino at the coast but a decent spot if you're staying nearby or coming to see entertainment.
I visited the buffet a little after 10am. I walk up, and I get three employees giving me the deer in the headlights look. I thought maybe breakfast was over, and they were closed.
I asked if I could still get breakfast, and they said yes. Most of the food looked old, and dried out. It was pretty empty in the place. My chicken fried steak was so dried out I thought it was jerky. My french toast was literally toast. It was just crunchy, and dry.
On the bright side the omelette was the only food that was good, and fresh.
I thought it was a bit rude to pull all the utensils from the buffet about 10 minutes before 11. No one came around warning last call on the buffet. If the food was actually good I paid my money for the buffet without a chance to make a second trip.
The little deli downstairs impressed me. My bacon cheeseburger, and fish n chips were both very excellent on two separate visits.
Friendly staff, nice environment to gamble in and some of the best apple juice. I have ever drank.
Chinook Winds Casino & Resort Hotel is right on the coast, with beautiful beach access! Amenities are great and reasonably priced. The buffet is a family favorite! Top entertainment venues! We visited about 3-weeks ago.
We had a great time , they gave us an early check in yesterday before noon a beautiful suite upgrade with my players card . Mike and Robin spent the day with us watching some football and had a great time with them this weekend at Depoe Bay the first few nights . WEATHER IS AWESOME !!!!!
Decent variety and number of slot machines and table games. A nice restaurant, separate buffet, and separate quick food spot. RV camping possible in parking lot. Child care available. Hotel has a pool, fitness center, and two hot tubs in separate locations. Right next to the beach.
Nice size casino with a variety of games to choose from. They have table games, and a good selection of slot machines. The casino itself sits right on the ocean front and is right in the town of Lincoln city. That is a nice change from some of the other Native American casinos in Oregon that are located on the outskirts where there isn't other amenities close by.
Really smokey. Smell made me sick. Won't be back. People smoke on the hotel balconies. If you dont mind the smoke our friends won some good money.
Re casino reply. Should have made it clearer. It was the casino that smelled so badly of smoke. The room was fine until our neighbors smoked on the balcony the last day. My wife did call and expressed her concerns.
Lied to Me about what comes in VIP CONCERT PACKAGES. DIDN'T GET TO MEET PAULA ABDUL AS TOLD I WOULD FOR THE $300 TICKETS (2) WORST PART, I INVITED MY EX BOSS!! HOW EMBARRESSED I WAS WHEN WE WERE TURNED AWAY FROM GETTING TO MEET HER AFTER BEING TOLD OUR TICKETS WOULD INCLUDE MEET AND GREET!!!!!!!!
Great fun! I enjoyed the smoke free area and the staff are really friendly. Drinks were good wish they didn't use plastic cups.
Outstanding casino and resort. Very friendly employees. Big supporters of pool tournaments, and as the vice president of the Pacific ACS I would like to personally thank you for the many years of quality tournaments and hope for many more. It's always better at the beach !!
Now no smoking anywhere in the casino
GREAT.
Chinook Winds casino is in Lincoln City it is so nice at the casino it's right on the beach
Classic Indian casino. Good size not too dirty, right on the beach. Some of the cheaper rooms are very small with no view.
The casino is small , the slot machines pay well and the employee's do the best customer service skills I have ever seen in a casino. My wife and I are planning to go back in the near future. The hotel is hard to get into and needs to expand and update. The restaurant in the hotel is fantastic, but the deli has a limited menu. Overall, a great little casino. If you are a gambler, this casino is a must.
I personally didn't gamble but my friend did. They can do better on the machines. We did eat upstairs at the restaurant while waiting for the concert. The drinks and service was good. The food left us both hungry and not in a good way. The best thing we ate was the bread and butter.
Steakhouse in the casino has delicious food! The inn's rooms overlook the ocean. Open your room windows to hear the surf. Restaurant at the inn has good breakfast selection and is tasty. Casino is very smokey (word of warning for those with asthma).
Clean and friendly and right on the beach. Free motorhome parking if you get there early and there's no concert or pool tournament. Great hotel with Ocean views.
Being at the coast in one of the better little towns to visit I have to give it a better than average place to have fun relax and enoy the casino the food and the service. The buffet a bit overpriced but the service makes up for that. The casino is a bit tight but that is to be expected. Everything is run professionally and the hotel is clean and comfortable. It's worth a stop it's memorable
Totally love it was well worth the time.and wearing the vivid mask isn't to bad wish I could smoke inside tho lol
Poorly lit and bad floor plan. Saw a few other guests get out of control and nithing was done. I do not recomend it.
They were really friendly. However NO drink service in the casino! Called for a cocktail server several times. Ended up going to the bar to get my own drinks.
Chowder was good in the deli. Kind of awkward walking paths though.
Chinook Winds Casino was a great time! We ate at the steakhouse and played the slots. The food was priced appropriately and the casino is quite clean.
It is now non-smoking indoors and masks are required for entry.
Nice room overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Relaxing views with the sounds of the surf. What a great place to rejuvenate from the harried life we all live!
Had the best time there for my husband's birthday.
I even won some money. The staff is so nice there.
The security guy there was so so nice.
I had no clue where to get my players card and he was so helpful.
He seen me later that evening and stopped to see how I was doing.
Compared to Spirit Mountain this casino has a smaller gaming area, the staff and the customers are bit more rough looking and not too personable. But I would still recommend it to a friend.
Everyone was very nice and they kept each machine clean when someone was done.
I loved it! Great place to unwind and have fun! It didn't hurt that I won 100.00!! Thnx
I love this casino better than others because they have better bonus opportunities on your players cards and a real nice atmosphere. Plus great staff as well.
For being a casino Chinook Winds is very kid friendly and family-oriented considering it's a Casino. Impressively so. Being that is located right on the beach it doesn't really get much better. Considering I used to work there I might be a little bit biased however I'm not sure which direction that sways me because as impressive as the place might be it was an awful place to work! They do not treat their pregnant employees very well to say the least that being said they have wonderful food, and wonderful guest service in all departments.
Amazing staff, perfect views, great events and really good food, made this the best anniversary get away. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Casino on the Oregon Coast! Went to a recognition dinner in one of several event rooms. Food was good and the service excellent! Didn't gamble as the cigarette smoke is pervasive in most areas of the casino.
Buffet delicious! Casino busy. Bingo open and we all had a great time.
Fun although ended up losing a bunch of money maybe next time
Went to the Phil Vassar and Lonestar concert. What a wonderful venue they have. Didn't feel all closed in because the seating had ample leg room. I like the theater type seating so if you're in the back row you're able to see as opposed to the mill casino it's a flat floor seating. I'm very impressed. By the way the concert was fantastic!! I love the idea that it was a holiday show.
Well, I started my stay by being given the entry to a dirty room. I went back to the office and they apologized and gave me a new room key. The new room was clean. When they say ocean front they arent kidding. Our ground level room had a door right on the beach. The closest a hotel has been to the beach to this day. Beautiful! The casino was cool, many new machines and the older but fun machines as well. The concert venue is outdated and feels like a 1970s lounge. Not impressed, especially since you have to leave the venue just to get a drink! The buffet was killer. $25 and you have a choice of a huge spread of foods including expensive seafood dishes. I was really pleased with that, by far the best thing about this casino/hotel besides the beach access. At the end when I went to pay they asked about my stay and I mentioned the room mix up and the clerk gave me a $50 credit for my room. That was nice of her especially since the original desk clerk, that messed up, didnt really seem to care. All in all we really enjoyed ourselves.
Yeah Us! We had a blast! We even lost our debit cars and the Helpfull Staff Members were there in Jiffy and found and returned it safely! Night Manager Luanne was wonderful along with her team made for a pleasant worry free Goof Time! Thanks Heather and Moe!
Pretty cool casino. I like spirit mountain a little better
Great customer service. Average rooms, spacious though. Nice view of beach.
For over $200 a night this place is not worth the view. Pool rooms were dirty sauna has graffiti all over the in side. The rooms carpets were old and dirty. No comforter on the bed just two sets of sheets with a thin blanket. Room Pretty was small as well. Cheap coffee in the room. You would be better off staying at other places in Lincoln City save your money.
Friendly staff, Except one nasty lady at the center one of the member services counter. What a B.
we didnt stay at the hotel as online it looked dumpy we were across the street at liberty inn. wish we would of stayed at casino as when we checked into liberty they were under massive Reno changing to holiday inn no breakfast no pool no hot tub. so we went to casino for something to eat we just ate at a cafe style we had burgers fries and onion rings it was very good and at a great price. only down side there was a lady sitting next to us that was high on drugs we got a casino card and they gave us $5 on the card so we played with that. guy at desk was very very friendly. I quite liked it there I would visit again
Won enough at 21 today to pay for smoked salmon.
Only bummer is due to the Rona their buffet has switched over to a deli style restaurant where you can order sandwiches, Mexican food, and Asian noodles.
A beautiful view, elegant decor with great food and service, that's what we had when we were here. Hubby loved the steamers and the fish tacos were crispy and filling. We will return and hope you give them a try too.
The best place to gamble on the coast. Staff is super friendly. Steakhouse is tasty and affordable. Cafe has a huge menu for late night snacks. Many many Pai Gows.
I'm sorry to say not as much traditional type food representing our people. It was mostly quick fried baked stuff. I could have gone to Izzy's on got the same food. Indigenous Casino with the buffet should we represent indigenous meals as an option. I go to the casinos for the buffets, and a native represented Casino such as Chinook Winds Casino I feel needs to represent.
I stayed, And had fun fun fun fun and have a good day...
Chinook Winds stole hundreds of dollars from my account. A fraudulent tab wad bill to my Visa and they told me to take it up with my bank. Extremely disappointed in this resort. They could have corrected chose not to. I'm done.
The hospitality is so amazing! Great food, very clean rooms. I will be back next year!
Great place for the family and they offer daycare for children 3 and older while you play
Went here to go to the Surf City sound off car show. The show has grown, and become a must see event for those into car audio. Decided to go in and have lunch at the steakhouse upstairs inside the casino. Absolutely enjoyed the experience! Good food, great service, with a beautiful view of the ocean.
Was a great view we had. Got me and my wife in right away.
The room we stayed in was clean and we had a fun time gambling at the casino. The casino floor had that cigarette smoke + perfume + alcohol smell that is an absolute necessity when gambling. Despite spending an evening on the floor, we never saw drink service once. The next morning we went to the breakfast buffet, which was the perfect cure for a hangover. All in all, if you like gambling you'll probably have a fun night or two by staying here.
It was the noisest place I ever stayed couldn't get any sleep and I was disappointed that restaurant didn't serve breakfast
The staff was helpful and the location perfect. The room was perfect size and the view amazing.
Very friendly staff and helpful. We always stop here when we go to the coast and usually have a great time
Basically we just wanted to play bingo people were very very friendly and helpful in the bingo hall
Twice a year a great poker tournament takes front stage. It is ran better than most wsop events with fantastic people behind the scenes
Not the worst casino I've ever been to. I never seem to have any luck here though. I do way better at Spirit Mountain. The hotel rooms were nothing fancy, not all that clean either.
Taking safety measures and following guidelines..well organized. Glad they reopened .. we so needed the break.
I had a great time....as always. Customer service is off the hook and the atmosphere was just right!
We had booked a suite for a romantic getaway and had a great time at the casino. .However, the power went partially out in our room and it was incredibly cold. When my husband asked if we could be moved or compensated for our room, he was told to just move all appliances to the other side of the room. Sounds awesome, if I were to be travelling with my tools to take down a television! Not the best answer from the customer service side, and I don't think we will be returning because of it.
I always love going to Lincoln City for the casino. It's always a bit quieter than Spirit Mountain. Don't always win but the environment is much more pleasant.
Just took a day to fool around at the casino with my wife. Lots of slots
I really had a good time here, did some gambling, ate in the steak house upstairs. Good steak, a little pricy at $55 for the t-bone, but healthy portions and good. Try to go for dinner during sunset, beautiful views!
Always a pleasure at Chinook Winds. They feel like family, so very giving. Today, I learned that they have been giving out masks, gratis, for visitors' use. They're just classy is all.
The casino is cool. I just wish I could win sometimes. Machines are tight and refuse to give out bonuses unless your at minimum bet. I know they say they cant set machines... but we all know they can. They make billions annually.. least they could do is make it worth your money sometimes to be there. And not be based on using a club card and loyalty for wins.
Great location. Wonderful staff and services. They are patient with your questions and the layout of the casino was well thought out!
The hotel has a portable rooms excellent customer service and great views of the Pacific ocean and the sandy beach. The dining room upstairs of forwards exceptional steaks cooked to order or for a more casual dining experience check out the buffet with all you can eat everything.
Went for breakfast and the food was good, then they served lunch and the food was just as good. Service was great, staff was funny
We had a blast at this place! Always a great experience. The people who work there always have a smile. Shirley Temples were delicious.
I not gamble. The buffet went up on price.. food was ok at best.. do have good shows.
Less crowded than normal with covid precautions in place. I like it better than before. I do miss the buffet restaurant.
I love stopping and donating money to the needy machines, I'm hoping one day they pay me back.
