I really like this school the level of education is very good. I liked the environment that professors used in class. For those who are complaining should pay more and go in another place. This is school is very nice and clean.

Andrea at student services is the most sweet and kind lady I have met. She helped me through a difficult time and answered all of my questions and concerns. I also met Chrissy and Jeff who were wonderful and helpful too. You can tell that they really care about their students. Such a great experience with Chinook Learning - I am so happy that I found them!

Have heard nothing but great things about Chinook Learning Services from the employees we send here for training. Great instructors, professional and helpful admin staff, and a central location (with free parking). Would recommend for sure!

My friend needed to upgrade a grade ten course, he emailed chinook learning center to ask if they teach grade ten courses. Chinook emailed him back saying that they do have grade ten courses available and they do teach it at the chinook services locations. When he went in for his appointment they instantly shut him down because they didn't have grade ten courses.

Personally for me, on their course chart information it said if you completed English 30-2 you can upgrade to 30-1. Although on their website it also said you must take English 20-1 to upgrade to English 30-1. I emailed them to confirm which one is correct, however they emailed me back saying that I have to call chinook student services after August 15th to ask the question. I did so only to get left with a voicemail saying how their registry is closed for the rest of the summer and in order to ask questions you must book an appointment. Pathetic.
Also, I went to find their course chart again to back me up for the day I have my appointment and now it's nowhere to be found.

It is and will still be a place I can never forget. The teachers are wholesome and they always try to put you through and also the students. Peaceful environment. I sincerely recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade.

It's a good school. But my chemistry class is very long from 1 pm to 4:30 pm. You can get tired easily and won't be able to concentrate on the teacher later on. So it can affect your grade.

I upgraded courses here (Math 30-1 and 31, Chem 30, Phys 30, Eng 30-1) and all my instructors were highly experienced. They knew how to teach and how to do it well with care and genuineness - something you don't consistently see in regular high schools. Resources and post-secondary information are bountiful. Student services and the principal (Mary Ellen Dewar) are very helpful and kind; they listen to your needs and concerns. It's safe and there is an air of respect with a post-secondary like environment. Advice: Work hard, put in the effort and you will definitely see results; the teachers there will absolutely help you get to where you want to be if they see that you're working for it.

This is a great place to go. My teachers were friendly and great. It feels like a school mixed with a post secondary. As you are responsible for your own self in applying yourself and they won't care if you don't work hard or don't show up for class but I liked it and I would recommend coming here to upgrade specially if your under 20 as it's only $65 per course not $545.
