Love the atmosphere and the service was charming. This is a staple restaurant in Woodinville and was excited to dine here once covid regulations allowed. I know keeping staffing has been hard throughout this past year but regardless I think Barking Frog has been able to keep to their reputation of fine dining.
When you walk into the Barking Frog, there is the massive trunk of a tree standing in the middle of the driveway. It's beautiful.
I'm beginning to think that tree was actually a guest many centuries ago who was told it would be 'just a few more minutes' so many times that they took root, lived, died, and were hollowed out by centuries passing.
Is the restaurant beautiful? Yes. Is the wine list nice? Yes. Is the service at best slow, and better characterized as grossly negligent? Yes.
Were the pancakes any better than the diner the day before? No. Was the cheese on the order of huevos rancheros melted? No. Was it possible that it was solid again because it took an hour from ordering our food to food delivery? Yes.
I feel -bad, I guess?- for the staff, because it cannot all possibly be their fault. But at the same time there is no sense of urgency on their part for you, no checking in to see how you're doing.
I'll never eat here again, because I don't want to die waiting for a meal.
This is the best place to come to for a special occasion. I came here for my birthday and the manager Tyler really out did himself on making sure I got a birthday dessert. The ravioli was one of the best meals I ve ever had and I savored every bite. I cannot wait to come back!

Gem of a place. We got burgers for takeout, which were amazing, packaged well for takeout food, and ate brunch in the restaurant which was delicious. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming and so helpful. Great restaurant all around!
On a bit expensive side but huge portion and tastes good.

We made a reservation for a birthday and ordered a dessert in advance for the celebration. After an excellent dinner and service, we unfortunately didn t receive the dessert and were about to leave disappointed. However, Tyler checked in on us and asked us about our visit. We confessed our disappointment and Tyler was quick to our frowns upside down! We received an excellent dessert and wine pairing and left happy.

We stopped by the Fireside Lounge for a cocktail and some apps. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. We will revisit to try Barking Frog for sure.
This place was truly special! My wife and I stayed at the hotel next door (Willow's Lodge) and the host and chef's were amazing! We went to get massages and they accommodated our time in between lunch and dinner which was so above and beyond. Then when we ate our food, we were BLOWN away! The Chicken Sandwich was spiced and breaded so blissfully. After that, we topped off the meal with Mac & Cheese and it was incredible! It was definitely made with homemade cheese sauce and braided noodles. We will definitely be back!!! Thanks so much and keep up the awesome work!
Stayed at willows lodge for a night, for my anniversary with my lady, we went here for dinner, food was amazing, shout out to the chefs here, taste was amazing, and also we went for breakfast, and same outcome, breakfast here was also amazing! 10/10 recommended for amazing service and most importantly, the food is just perfecto !
