I don t think they have enough staff for the clients, or maybe we just aren t a priority to them. Wait listed for 10 months, had our first appointment and that was great and Dr Elibol was very nice and seemed so knowledgeable... but everytime I ve had to reach out to the nurse it takes days to hear back. I am going to start looking at new places now. I don t recommend them, they just seem too busy.

No communication whatsoever. They don t verify insurance coverage. They have horrible customer service, and are very rude. The ladies at the front office, are no help. We need a form signed from the school for my child to take their medicine and their answer is, it will take at least 48 hours for the doctor (who prescribed the medicine), to decide if she will sign the form or not.

We're both of my sons were diagnosed with autism for the very first time. I absolutely love the doctor and I'm so glad that I went to this particular facility. Anyone who is wondering about whether or not their child has any sort of disorder, this is definitely the place to come.

I will only give this place 2 stars because they don t deserve more... literally. When u come in no one will smile or talk to the patients or parents. Everyone seems to be so upset and unhappy. I love my son s doctor here and the front office check out clerk. Everyone else might need to find another line of work. So sad

The Child Study Center has been a very helpful and informative center so far. The staff is nice and friendly. My son was offered a snack and something to drink after waiting about 5 minutes in the waiting room.

My son just completed the 2 week ABA program through BDC. It was a great experience. We saw lots of changes . His problematic behavior decreased dramatically and we begin to see him do skills that we have not seen for awhile. The RBTs were great. Very personal and quick to give you answers to questions. Kristina was excellent. She trained me and when she didn't know the answers she went to Melinda. Melinda was excellent. Very hands on. We had access to her throughout the day and she changed our son's plan immediately if she saw that it was not effective. We had an overall positive experience. The only thing that was not so good is that we cannot continue to take advantage of the other services that CSC has available due to insurance. Hoping to still get my son to the developmental Pediatrician there if not then I am just grateful that we got the 2 weeks. I was really hoping that I can get more help from them but now its in our hands to find whatever resources we can for our son. It does seem like that get a lot of application so waiting may take awhile but take full advantage of it if they do call you. It is worth it. I would advise parents to keep pushing and researching the programs that are out there....its tough and sometimes you run into a lot of road blocks....I felt that way when we left CSC on Friday....I felt like what now???? but I spent the weekend researching other options and I am hoping that something comes around for us...until then i will work hard to continue doing what I was trained to do in the program. Keep the faith parents

I am very disappointed with Cook s Child Study Center. I took my son here and was very happy with the consult. He was referred to a Behavioral Psychologist, in the same office, for further testing. When they called to schedule the appointment, I was told they do not take my insurance and the visits would total approximately $2000. When I asked if they could refer him to another doctor, they told me no, they only refer to Dr. Dempsey. What a waste of time and gas! I drove 90 miles round trip and filled out a mountain of paperwork for nothing! FYI, I have a PPO insurance.
