What a fantastic place! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Mike and tasting some fantastic pinots. This is the oldest vineyard in the area. It is as rich in history as it is in taste. The cab franc is truly something else. Careful, if you taste it you will buy it!

Known for Pinot Noir (they make several, from different vineyards), they also have a very nice un-oaked Chardonnay, and a killer estate Zin. Many different picnic spots around the property to choose from. Crowded on weekends, but worth a visit!

Such a lively place! Celebrated a birthday this Sunday. Very sunny, cozy, beautiful. Wine testing was amazing! There is a special atmosphere far away from the gustle of the city, in the mountains...

Loved the rustic barn feel of the tasting room. Even when it was busy, we were tended to consistently. A beautiful little spot not too far into the mountains. The selection we had was flavorful and different, a true tasting!

They're known for their Pinot Noir I believe, but their Chardonnay is also fantastic. Don't overlook the other distinctives, though! The location is great, nustled in beautiful, tree-covered hills. And the concerts they host in the summer are a blast! What's better than sitting outside, listening to music, and drinking wine?

Beautiful location, with live music. Uninformed and untrained server however, and didn't understand the offerings. The server we had also used rude hand motions. Giving two stars because the scenery was awesome, but the service sucked.

Had a lovely time tasting here on the MLK holiday. We drove in a handicap van. They have 2 handicap spots next to each other. We double parked because we needed room for the ramp to come out of the van. Getting into and navigating the winery in a wheelchair was easy, and we could go all the way up to the house.

I live in the Bay Area and have been searching for a nearby winery to join. This one seemed to be the best fit for our family. The staff is friendly, the wine is nice, and the atmosphere is relaxing. The tasting room is very nice, but not pretentious. The grounds are perfect for relaxing or socializing with friends. There's a small view of the valley on one side and the rest you're surrounded by the hills with redwoods and other trees. My one tiny disappointment is that it isn't dog-friendly, but it can be hard to find a place with everything.

Savannah-Chanelle is a gem almost hidden away in the Saratoga Hills. I couldn't believe I had missed it all these years. This is a wonderful place to bring a picnic, enjoy the views and enjoy a bottle of their outstanding wines after a lovely experience in their charming tasting room. The grounds and house are quaint. The peacefulness of the setting cannot be matched. You will want to make this your destination stop when touring wineries in the Santa Cruz mountains. Their FREE summer concerts on the patio are almost too good to be true. Incredible musicians to listen to, dance to and savor, with a backdrop of vines, mountains and blue skies. Just doesn't get any better than this.

Came here on a beautiful Sunday to try their wine and have a picnic on their beautiful grounds. Turns out they have live music every weekend during the spring and summer. On this particular day it was jazz and blue. So there we were with our wine, food and music, and the day couldn't have been better. Okay, maybe a little sunscreen wouldn't have hurt. Lol... Go check them out, I think you will have a great time as well!

We went for the first time on Fathers Day after deciding to explore Saratoga wineries. Even though we mostly red wine drinkers we really enjoyed all the wines even the Chardonnay so much that we bought a bottle, joined the wine club and enjoyed a free concert. Looking forward to next club release and weekend concerts in a beautiful setting with a view of the bay. The pourer was very informative and friendly.

Sept 2014 - Came here with a group of 10 and we enjoyed the wine tasting thoroughly! We were told this place has a long history. We had a picnic on the grass and it was so lovely to sit under the sun. There are bees around so they will come to the food. There is also a harmless peacock.
