Awesome place to stay in Alice Springs, beautiful restaurant and friendly staff

Room was nicely presented however the room door required slamming due to swelling, and the bathroom tap dripped. The staff were friendly always smiling but I think there was a limited amount of English spoken. There was a lack of communication between staff and patrons; hotel restaurant was over booked, so patrons were unable to dine at the restaurant connected to the hotel they were staying at, the catering crew suggested room service (if an evening meal was wanted ) the room service menu was limited to choice as well as a $3.00 service fee for room service (although you could come to the kitchen and pick up yourself, so, after a short discussion the room service fee was waivered.) If this didn't occur I probably would've given a 3.5 or 4.

Good clean rooms. Not much of a town. Usually just a stopping place on way to/from Uluru .

As all the Mercure hotel is flexible and reactive,the rooms are clean and large with all the modern services and friendly staff. Surely an example for other brands.

Staff are just lovely, place needs some maintenance

Great spot across the Todd river (actually river bed as it rarely flows).
Nice walk across to the town and nearby Botanic Gardens.
Large comfortable rooms at a good price.
Kids live the great swimming pool.

Room was nice and clean, room service on the other hand was atrocious. Waited over an hour for our food, none of the staff said the restaurant was busy at the time we ordered until we called up after waiting for 45 minutes. The staff said 'it should be on the way, the restaurant is very busy tonight'. Had we of known it was going to be such a long wait we would have ordered a pizza from domino's. When the food finally arrived 20 minutes after calling, our dinner was cold and my ice cream was fully melted. Do NOT order the room service if you stay here, this was on a Wednesday too so it wasn't like it was a weekend.

The rooms are big, shower and toilet OK. Breakfast is OK. In the restaurant you can eat well, the staff is very friendly. Swimming pool is available.

We had a conference here and used accommodation services as well. Food was amazing. Service was fantastic. The function room was perfect for our needs and I don't say that often. Sadly the shower in the room was terrible. No force and only like warm. Bed was comfy though.

A great place to relax by the pool have a coffee recharge yourself for the next part of your travels.

A great hotel, great friendly staff and you can also do the laundry and dry. Advantage, if you are traveling as long.

Was upgraded for free on arrival. Staff were friendly and on site restaurant Barra on Todd was fantastic. Nice pool too but didn't get a chance to use it.

Stayed here as the first part of our Red Centre trip with AAT Kings, in order to visit the highlights of Uluru etc, we then stayed a second night before travelled on the Ghan o/n train from Alice Springs to Adelaide.
Good location and services, very convenient for the local airport and the coach pick up/drop off and the railway station etc

First impressions pretty good, shame we had an infestation of annoying flies, due to a recent rainfall we are told. Just been out to the FLYING DOCTOR MUSEUM & REPTILE CENTRE both very interesting and informative, but very hot!!!!!

Getting a little old, but our room was great nice and big, comfortable bed. the restaurant served really good food. stayed 4 nights ate breakfast and dinner there for 2 days.then went to town.If I get back to the Alice I will return to this hotel

Neat and clean with friendly staff, the decor is a bit tired though. Food was good and it's definitely child friendly.
Shame the inward views are of the internal road system.

We've stayed here for a week, it's a nice place, we loved everything especially buffet breakfast before going on a day bus tour.

Excellent hotel. The room was large,the bed very comfortable. We had an extremely enjoyable dinner in the hotel with good service. Really looking forward to our return here in a week's time!!

Great place to be from a long drive. Has nice Arabic palm a rousing trees. Has excellent dinner orders. With Red wine served. Has wi-fi connection, B.b.q nights, concert's night, sit down. Enjoyed the night. Close to town center of Alice springs. Very friendly customers services. Arranged with planes Bus services. Taxis services. Washing facilities are provided. It's a place that offered the most delight scenes of the pool lighting at night.

Nice hotel, some of the rooms are a lot more modern than others.
Be very careful when paying your hotel bill by card, when you presume you have got to the part where you are supposed to enter your PIN it goes to a screen for leaving a tip!

A very nice resort, i throughly enjoyed my time here!

Comfy and clean rooms, great bar and restaurant. Only gripe was with slight odor from cigarette smoking present.

Friendly, helpful and polite staff. Great facilities, air conditioning and pool. Only a few minutes walk from the CBD.

Our stay at the Mercure was great, asides from the initial mix up with our rooms. However they were very quick in fixing the issue, solved in a matter of seconds. Room service was magnificent.

After contacting the hotel numerous times by phone and email I am still waiting for a response from the manager. Very poor customer service.

I spent the night in a room with no heating. Zero degrees and zero sleep. When I mentioned it at checkout it was basically just my bad luck. 130 dollars to lie in a freezer. They offered me a 10 dollar breakfast as compensation! Nothing else. The Mecure was always my go to hotel when travelling Australia, never again

Nice hotel set below the backdrop of the McDonnell Ranges. Quite a big place. Has a reasonable swimming pool. Need transport to get to it. The room was comfortable and pleasant. Located by the Todd River, which is always dry; lots of noise from river. Get a room closer to the main are, but a pleasant hotel.

Rooms to the main road can be a bit loud. Air condition above the beds is not ideal. Very good breakfast buffet.

Spacious room, very clean and well equipped. Good guests facilities (laundry). The pool is small but honestly not many people would used as it is simply too hot to stay outside. The restaurant is ok, decent but rather average.

Nice stay so far! The pool is quite enjoyable, and the attached restaurant, while not cheap, is better quality than expected. Buffet breakfast also pretty good! Couldn t have picked a better place to chill for Christmas!

Great place to chill for a bit. Five minute walk from Alice Springs town centre.

Booking for 1 night at the Mercure.
The room and the bathroom are perfectly ok and clean.
I used to open the bed to check the status .... I did it at 22h ... a little late to call a manager .... but that's how is done a bed at the Alice Springs Mercure. The sheet underneath is not even tense ... and to ask if the sheets have been changed because stained more! A shame

The rooms are very old and outdated. The pool looks beautiful, but is not heated so not usable during winter. The customer service is good and we were given a free drink card (valid for beer, wine and softdrinks). Cocktails and mocktails were well made. We did not eat at the restaurant so can't comment on that. The room we stayed at didn't have a good view. Sadly the rating would have been higher if they renovated the rooms. Although the water pressure was brilliant!

Great location close to town. Service is very good in the dining area. Food not great but okay and the rooms were clean and tidy. It is looking a little tired but it is in a very good location. The pool was amazingly cool on such a hot day we were there which amazed us. They really need to have service around the pool area as we needed to come inside to get a drink and glasses were blowing off tables when vacated.

Its situated on the fringes of the town, probly needs an update, but staff very nice, room jus above average but clean, would have given more stars if closer to amenities

I stayed here in December 2018 and had an overall pleasant experience. The room was tidy and relatively modern. All amenities were in working order and the pool was quite nice. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant, the burger I had wasn't great but most other aspects exceeded my expectations.

I was somewhat blown away by the quality of the service and services.

We had a quiet relaxed meal at Burra cafe. The fish was delicous & didnt disappoint. Restaurant patrons are permitted to use pool which is over looked by restaurant.

Certainly one of the best options for Alice Springs with modern rooms, nice pool with bar and proximity to the center. The very friendly receptionists and the restaurant complete the positive overall impression. There are small defects in the room cleaning, but efforts cannot be discussed with the responsible staff.

Has everything you need, only thing that could be improved was if the pool bar worked

Lovely place to stay and beautiful food. Very good place for functions and forums.

The hotel had large and clean rooms. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I even got a free drink when I showed my customer card. The breakfast included in our room price and booked was fine but not incredibly great. The hotel has a very large area with a grill and a large pool. There is enough parking space. I would visit the hotel again at any time if I was in Alice Springs.

It was a nice place for a holiday staff were excellent, but they charged us double on the weekend, which should never happen
