The awsomest Sunday lunch buffet I've ever seen. We just recently discovered this pub and went in to grab something for lunch on a Sunday. We had no idea they offer such a luxurious selection of things from eggs Benedict to waffle galore, do-yourself-tacos and eggs cooked to order. The salad bar, the fruits and the desserts are were all beyond expectations. Everything is fresh and delicious. It is not cheap but now we know where to go to celebrate big events.

I have to come back when there is a band and all is in full swing... but this particular lovely afternoon was perfect for appetizers and drinks with friends in the garden. I can barely think of a more lovely outside area to eat than chief o'neill's!! and the staff was was soo accommodating and friendly!

I was invited out to have brunch with my friend and her family for Sunday brunch here. We got seated around 11am just before the rush. The buffet selection was great and everything was presented and arranged so nicely on the first floor. Reservations are not required, but you will probably be seated on the second floor. They have a lot of seating available and when it is warm outside the have an entire back patio for people to inhabit.

The waitstaff are friendly and attentive and this is a really good place to bring kids and families and groups of friends. The buffet is only 20 dollars. But drunks are extra and they will bring up your bill. I'm only giving four stars the food was good and there were a lot of.options but none of the dishes completely blew me away.

tldr: totally reccomend, great value, good for kids, awesome buffet. No reservations needed.

Nice traditional Irish Pub. Heard it won an award for best Guinness Draught in Chicago. But the beer garden and the buffet are the prize here. ( Better have a reservation for eating tho, always busy,)

Great burgers. And the outside seating area fit our rather large group no problem. The downside was when the rain came but even that didnt bother us too bad, they just moved us inside and we picked up where we left off. Great place

I was apprehensive when I arrived on st pats - Chief Oneills seemed like a typical packed irish bar charging a cover to cram yourself into a tight space while fighting for a drink. Wow was I wrong. The space was packed, and it was tough getting a drink, but I was so impressed with the live entertainment and the food, it was easy to over look the flaws. The layout could be refined, so lines for the buffet, performance areas, and the bar are not intersecring. Definitely looking forward to spending my st pat's here next year!

Excellent brunch buffet, excellent service, excellent coffee. Great for groups, families, and even date night. It s casual fare, not pretentious, and cozy. It s not an obnoxious sports bar full of frat boys and drunks on a Saturday afternoon.

Hands down one of my favorite neighborhood joints. The cocktails are great, the beer list impressive, there is plenty of goof wine to go around ... but the food... I don't know where to start. The poutine is simply amazing - the fries are cut into thick spirals like curly stake fries, covered with amazing gravy and cheese curds. Then there was the crab dip with crunchy pita that is soft on the inside. And the burger came with more of those ridiculous fries. The steak crostini also deserves a mention even though I didn't order them this time around. Top that with the super polite and charming wait staff - some of which are in from actual Ireland for the summer, and a charming atmosphere inside and a spacious sunny patio on the outside, and you will wonder why you ever went to any other bar.

Very good buffet brunch, good drinks and a wonderful outdoor eating area! The outdoor garden eating area is so nice and secluded, that you'd never think that you were in the midst of a large city.

My husband's surprise 40th was at Chief's, and we could not have chosen a more perfect venue for our large crowd of friends and family! The event coordinator and staff were super friendly, food was amazing, and we would totally recommend the attic for a party!

Wonderful food, great live music and nice service. Had a large group and they did a great job taking care of us. We ordered a large variety from Rubens, to bacon wrapped meatloaf to salmon. It all tasted great. Live music every Monday night featured the Windy City Jammers. These old timers did a fantastic job on the banjo, mandolin, harmonica and more.

A lot of options for the brunch buffet. It's exciting! Lots of desserts! Omelette station. Sat at the bar since tables were full on Saturday morning. I asked if the orange juice was freshly squeezed and they said yes but it certainly didn't taste that way and it costed $6.

My friends and I came here one night cuz it was the closest place for all of us. It's an Irish bar with basically always Irish music at least on a Tuesday night. It was pretty empty that night which was good. I would have hoped for more specials on a Tuesday but they only had Black and Tans for $5. Either way they were good, but not good enough to warrant a return.

We had a cheerful waiter who paid us prompt attention, was nice to us, though we wanted to have cheese left off of things, and one of us just had soda, which he filled again. So nice. We loved our salad a flat bread, Reuben bites and drinks. Thanks

This place transports you back to a real pub in Ireland. They have an amazing group of musicians who post up on Sundays and play traditional Irish music for hours and hours. The bar is off the beaten path but totally worth it!

Best buffet brunch around.

Something for everyone.
Wonderful waitstaff.
Adult drink costs are reasonable.
It the weather permits, I suggest eating outside in the courtyard.

My fiance and I visited Chief O'Neils for a couple friends renewing their wedding vows and it was so beautiful how they had the outdoor space set up. Drinks and food were good, but he customer service from the staff was really great. I would recommend having any kind of event, corp event or even just a gathering at Chiefs.

Jennifer was our bartender and she was fantastic! We were both feeling rather down, and Jennifer s positive energy and friendly personality made for a great night! Food was delicious, drinks were fantastic, and service was above par! Thank you for a wonderful evening Chief Oneills!

Their brunch buffet is pretty impressive; however, a lot of the options were dry or over cooked. This place is beautiful and has a gorgeous outdoor patio, but I would try something other than the weekend brunch buffet.
