It was all you can eat fish-and-chips night but I found the chips are great but the fish was way over battered and just I found it unedible. The soup was great it was a seafood bisque
We were sat way out in the back room, probably because we had a toddler, which was OK Because we got a big table and he was able to play.
The only issue I had was our waiter was very unattentive he claimed it was because he got sat so many tables at 1 time but I too am a waitress and you deal with it you make sure you take care of all your people at all times!

They have absolutely one of the best and most serene patios in the city. The food is delicious including the bread they present as an appetizer. Service was fantastic and the prices are still reasonable. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

Went later in the evening. The server was a little confused and had to verify what we ordered 20 minutes after taking the order. There was an obviously drunk patron at the bar who was continually shouting and yelling obscenities throughout our time there. Management should have cut her off a long time before then. She was still having a grand 'ol time shrieking as we decided to leave along with the table next to us, who apparently had enough as well. I did enjoy the fish and chips though paired with a black & tan.

The food was great but the bartender and one of the servers are pretentious D***S... (the food is only as good as the service)... I gave it a second chance after my first experience, and the second time there was a dog at the bar who was begging and I was bumped into by customers and employees at least 10 times. Also the food is waaay over priced. Just because you put something on a pretzel bun and a square plate doesn't justify charging double. As I said, the food was good, but not worth putting up with the service or the bill. Go somewhere else... The bad apple is way better. (not Irish, but who cares?)

Oh my goodness, what a great place to host a party! The food was phenomenal and the service was out of this world! From the food setup to the table placements, everything was perfect. We loved it all and will definitely look to host with them again. Have your next part at Chief O'Neills!!

This is the best Sunday brunch buffet in town! Along with the usual lox, biscuits n gravy, corned beef hash etc, it features an made to order omelette station, chocolate fountain (!), chicken fajita tacos, and optional bloody mary and mimosa and great coffee.

Quite stylish and fancy taste you have there. Although there is only limited list of items you can choose in the Restaurant Week, I can still feel the innovation and delicacy in their foods.

Waited 2.5 hours for a few orders of fish and chips with the promise "they'll be right out". After asking to speak to a manager, we were asked why. They offered no solutions, no food, and no reason to come back again.

We stopped in just for drinks, and ordered a couple of cocktails, which were very good. Great ambiance, with old world charm, nice rich dark woods. Also, seems to be very family friendly, as we saw several families with young children there. Got to chatting with the very friendly server, and was given a copy of the menu to take home with us! They wanted us to look it over and come back for dinner some time soon. The menu offerings look good, so we probably will.

Have this place a try because I live in the neighborhood. We were seated outside on the patio. I was very disappointed with both the food and the service. We had to ask for silver wear and napkins. It took forever to get our check and once we got it our server never came back. I had to track down another server and ask her to take our bill and credit card to pay for our food. The food was bland and not very favlorful. The only thing I enjoyed were the chips. The fish was soggy and the burger had no flavor. We won t be back.

Hosted a small table to celebrate a 40th birthday tonight of a dear friend and everything was perfect. The tables were distanced properly, the food was excellent and the service was amazing. Gorgeous outdoor space, and they made the birthday extra special by having the bagpipes play Happy Birthday! So impressed.

I love the atmosphere, food, music, service, it's all great! Anderes was an excellent server. My family/friends and I have been here multiple times and ordered a good variety of the menu, everything has been delicious. I'd recommend ordering something from the "Emerald Isle favorites" if you don't know what to order. If you can caych them, the band that plays here is so talented and fun.

My family went to the Sunday buffet. This was one of the best buffets I've ever been to. The food was incredible and there was plenty of it! The staff was friendly and did a great job too. We'll definitely be back.

I randomly stumbled into this fine establishment for breakfast on a Sunday completely unaware of the weekend brunch buffet they serve. I normally shy away from brunch buffets as they are largely filled with stale mediocre fare at best. Chief O'Neill's Thankfully is the excoetion. For starters I was impressed with the variety of the selections ranging from their well known fish n chips to an endive caeser salad. The sweet selections are just as numerous and well made as well from the chocolate fondue options to cake bits and cannolis. I can't heap enough praise on the quality of the food and service for this unexpected brunch treat. My only regret was I had to catch a flight that morning so I wasn't able to spend more time there. I'm already planning on having a pint and a whiskey here next time I'm in Chicago.

This review is for the Thanksgiving buffet. The food and service was amazing. The food spread had everything you could possibly want and everything I had was delicious. I was surprised how many dishes they had and the quality. They had a carving station that had delicious prime rib that was especially good. Our server was efficient and took good care of us. This was our first visit for many of us and we we're quite pleased. I would definitely go back for another buffet or for their normal dinner service. If you are considering going out for your next Thanksgiving go here. $50 was a great value compared to other restaurants in the city.

The food is great! I have only one complaint we took our daughter for Valentine's day. I'm not sure if they were short on staff. We got out bread at the end of all the food we ordered , we had to ask for water. I felt a rushed. Felt somewhat uncomfortable. Our server was nice but something was not quite right. Not sure if we will be back again and I really like the food. We'll see
