Best brunch in the city!! They have amazing food and it s always a fun time!
We love Chief O'Neill's! Great food, atmosphere, and hospitality. Feels like home.
A wonderful brunch buffet for $24.00 and sizable mimosas for $10.00! Beautiful outdoor dining area. A hidden gem on the northwest side. I'll definitely be back!!
Awesome brunch with an amazing selection all in a cool place with great service
Delightful Irish pub and restaurant. We enjoyed a1/2 price bottle of Italian wine with a fresh, crisp side salad and very tasty Chicken pot pie. "Cabaret" the musical was mesmerizing, funny and at times brought tears to our eyes. This was performed in the intimate "attic" room. We will return to enjoy more food and other productions, like Banjo night.
Friday fish fry is great. Large pieces of fish, soup, fries, and slaw. Better than other fish fries in the area. Menu looks good that I want to try other items, especially the shepherds pie or other meat pies.
Some good brunch they got there. Not the best poured Guinness, though. Sorry guys, Six penny, is the place for that.
Excellent holiday decorating. Will be back when in the area for sure!
Best place to have dinner and a nice cold drink. It also has a outside patio to hang out in the summertime.
Chef o Neil's is a more upscale dining restaurant with quality food.
The atmosphere and service are phenomenal here. The food is delicious albeit maybe a little pricey, but totally worth it. Huge portions and a wonderful whiskey selection make this place worth the stop. If the weather is nice I would suggest dining in their outdoor section. It's beautiful at night and it a great mood setter.
Great atmosphere and enjoyable food with family and friends.
Great restaurant with nice summer garden. Good food and nice decoration.
One of my favorite neeighborhood pubs, with an outside beer garden complimented by ice cold beer selections it draws in swarms of people.. Never had the weekend buffet but my police officer friends say its a bargan at 20... Personally I love the lamb burger in a medium rare... Its sso good I cannot savir it and find myself consuming it in under 5 minutes... Fries are battered and are so good that they achieve a new upper limit to awesome... I love McDonald fries, but once you try oniels you will realize everything else tastes like cardboard... They must change there deep fryer oil ever day or something... Cannot say enough grwat things... I also notticed that the owner and his family work here and that is probably why everything about this place appeals to me.
One of our favorite Chicago restaurants. Good food, good service and great Irish atmosphere.
I went to Chief O'Neill's once for the St. Pat's Day festivities. It was your typical large Chicago Irish bar with a decent outdoor area and a small stage for a band. I didn't try any of the food (everything smelled like corned beef though), but the bar was fine. It was cool for the day, but I doubt I'd go back on a regular occasion.
Hands down best Irish bar in the city imo, also possibly my favorite patio/backyard area.
An absolute classic Irish bar/restaurant. I think everyone already knows this.
Summer is here enjoy great food and the amazing open air seating.
Cozy old country Irish pub, excellent food, good Guinness tap beer and on occasion a session by the fire place.
In Chicago for the Rugby tripleheader weekend and so happy I made it to Chief O Niell s! Wonderful Irish music! Great food! Great staff! Great atmosphere! Will definitely be heading back!
The food is consistently fresh and delicious, employees hands out excellent customer service. I really like how clean it is and vibes. I highly recommend this spot.
Best of everything. Absolutely loved this place. Going again soon and any chance I get!
Delicious brunch. Make sure to get an Irish Coffee.
Good food, excellent service. We sat in outdoor area with a lovely view of their garden. Their fish and chips were the best I"d had since I was in England 3 years ago. We will definitely return.
Amazing, your favorite home town Irish pub you never realized you had. Delicious Irish good with a homely atmosphere. The mushroom soup is the best I have had anywhere and staff are very great. Wonderful place.
Love coming here for the atmosphere, music and food. Good time!
Food is usually great, staff can be hit or miss, prices warrant the food quality, and the ambiance is fantastic.
Very well made, tasty, and large portion menu. Selected items include corned beef, steak salad, shepherd's pie. Comfy by the fireplace. Cozy feeling through out. Very attentive servers.
No one took care of us as we walked in. Had to find our own table.
Amazing food huge drink menu year round great place to come staff and location is fantastic
they claimed a family members $100 gift card was "expired" which among other things is illegal in the city limits. then when an officer (who is most likely in their back pocket) showed up, he just put the $100 gift card in his pocket and slowly walked away. beware of cheap skate thieves. Shanny Irish bugs.
they chose to not honor their own $ 100 gift card claiming that it had "expired". even though they were still paid $100 for the gift card. which is also illegal. beware.
Excellent selection with a wide variety of high quality food. Today I particularly enjoyed the eggs Benedict and the fried fish and chips with malt vinegar!!
Had the gut busting Sunday brunch. Legendary and reasonable. Great bloody marys and terrific service.
Food was excellent and it was a great variety. Definitely worth the money!
Great setup for a large crowd of 50. Having access to the outdoor was a huge plus.
Warm beautiful bar and restaurant, frequent live music sessions. The food is average, beer is good as are the patrons.
Amazing spread and wonderful staff. The best Saturday and Sunday brunch.
