Have not been here in awhile, but it's real relaxing here. At night it's even better just go when it's Open to avoid issues.
I can't remember I believe you can fish here BUT you will be asked if you have a license the police are on it with fishing!

This park is beautiful and clean. Usually go there to walk my dog when the weather allows. Everyone around is friendly and attentive to all the pets and there are nice shady benches to sit by and watch.

Great place to have an evening outside gathering. Fire pits available. Don't worry if you don't get your own fire pit for you and your group. People are really friendly and willing to share their big bonfires with everyone. Bring some wood, food, and libations. Don't forget your ingredients for s'mores! Bring your own sticks, there are none available at the park, also, wrap your food in foil and cook on the open fire!

Locally known as The Promontory Point, or simply "The Point", it is a gem of the city. One of the best kept secrets of the South Side lakefront. A beautiful Vista of the city from the south along with great areas for swimming, lounging, barbecuing, and playing.

Douglas tomb is located inside the park. Worth the trip to check that out inside the park. Very scenic area. It is next to the new 35th Street pedestrian bridge. Gateway into the Bronzeville neighborhood. Great for strolling and taking pictures lots of historic architecture

This park is like walking through a dream with all of its many quirks and fun spaces with sculptures and oddities. This park also holds special meaning for me as it is one of the 1st places my future husband and I fell in love. Love this place and they also recently made some renovations that include a new bridge to the beach and walk path. Can't wait to go back and make more memories.

Fabulous hidden treasure! The tiled Moraga steps are beautiful enough, but climb them and another couple hundred to the top. The summit of Grand View Park is tiny, but offers spectacular views completely across the SF peninsula. Often bathed in fog, but get there on a clear day and wow!

Being outdoors gives us opportunity to focus on the wonderful creation of nature, we often take for granted. The rat race of survival and the pursuit of success often causes us to ignore the God given natural environment around us. This lockdown does cause us to slow down and absorb more experiences we otherwise bypass. Going to the park is a simple inexpensive valuable experience
