Picked up my daughter today and she hasn't stopped talking about it. Going on ten hours now. She had the best time.

My daughter got home from camp a little while ago & is still telling me about the great time she had. I hope to be able to take a family trip here eventually.
Great food! For a campground the accommodations were very good. Fellowship was top notch
Beautiful conference and camp venue and a great staff! We checked this out for doing a youth camp at. It is a very spacious, wooded and beautiful location with plenty of recreation options and unique housing areas. I would definitely recommend it for a youth camp.
i have went to this camp more than 8 times in my life we would always be at the RV pavilion ,and put up tents it would be so fun kayaking, staying up by the fireplace , playing volleyball , and other fun stuff
i really enjoy this place you should 100 percent go here
the staff sucks tho
Great place to work! The community and the people here are awesome! Not to mention that it is a beautiful place where God's creation is clearly seen!
I thought it was fun you learn things you didn't k ow
Michendoh is great. Great service, great people- the food isn't crappy, like at most places (though I would advise people to stay away from the eggs) - all in all, a great way to spend time with your group. The water slide still tops any other slide I've ever been on!
I went to the 5th grade camp and it was in the cold winter but it was amazing anyway I loved the camp so much I m going to the summer camp tomorrow and I m super excited the food was great even for picky eaters the staff was amazing and friendly and they helped with what we needed if your scared to go I highly recommended this camp
Best places for business meetings and conferences. The cafeteria is the best around best healthy food options. Even for the picky eaters
I have gone to michindoh alot of times at it was the best time of my life.
Today is a good day for me because I have been trying to find the name of this camp for years. I learned at lot at this camp and some of my best childhood memories were here. My favorite part is when all of the students were outside and the instructors taught us all how to make rainforest sounds together. I went to this camp when I was in the 6th grade and I am now 24. It was a great experience for me and I now can attach a name to a pleasant memory. And also save it to my maps so I never lose it again.
I worked as a Work Crew member at this camp for WyldLife campers and loved it. The experience is one in a lifetime.
Wonderful camp, clean facilities and courteous staff!
I LOVE THIS PLACE I'M GOING IN THREE MONTHS FOR SUMMER CAMP
This camp is so fun I went last week and it was that memory from your child hood that you never forget give it 5 stars even know it deserves 100!!
I have held two retreats at Michindoh this year and have been very impressed each time! The staff is always very professional, helpful, and accommodating, doing their best to ensure our group has a good stay. The campus is gorgeous and we loved canoeing and kayaking, as well as hiking around the lake. One of the most talked about features is the food! All the meals were excellent...and all-you-can-eat. I highly recommend Michindoh!
been there twice going soon its awesome you should go its the best in summer camp
It was clean and comfortable facility. They have a friendly staff as well.
I always go to the summer fusion camp through my church and I ALWAYS have a blast!!!
Food has improved over the years but still not as good as some camps I've been to. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Some of the main buildings and lodgings are getting a bit old and could use an upgrade.
it was awesome! I loved it! bring lots of clothes! and have some fun!
My fam went to this camp and hated it .... if you want a more high quality experience go to camp nissakone they have not 1 1star rating
Just 1-2 4 stars it may be more expensive but. There are scholarships and they actually have cabins with bathrooms in it search up camp nissakone on Google they have been working this camp for more than 100 years hope you enjoy your cano experience at nissakone
Yes it is great and you should be there the staff is nice and adapts to your needs and nice worn place to sleep with a bathroom in cabin and that way your food that you don't eat to tech you about how much is wasted a day to tech you about how much you take and eat now thay have first class safety officers on duty 24/7 cans good food.just leave your phone and bring lots of close and have fun
I heard they are loaded with money and I was just there and everything on the cabin sucked and it was just not fun very boring to me
my daughter attended summer camp and loved it so much
attended a women retreat there the grounds and coherence center are beautiful.
Very clean and peaceful. The cafeteria ladies are very friendly. Our youth enjoys this place every time we go. There's also a lot of activities like hi-ropes, kayaking, zip line etc..
Oh i love this place. Great for anyone. All inclusive camp with all kinds of activities.Christian atmosphere. This is how camp should be.
It was a blast I just wish the staff treated you more like adults
I attended this camp in the 6th grade. That was back around 2004. Time sure does fly. The good old days. :)
While we have never been part of their summer camping program, my wife and I have attended the marriage enrichment retreat held here for many years! All of the staff have a primary responsibility to see that you have everything you need for you to have the best possible experience. Literally, it is their ministry!
Great facility! Friendly staff! The buildings were great for my college group that was there.
My Son attended their summer camp and loved it. He will definitely be returning!
This place could be something great but sadly it NOT trustworthy. The management here is dishonest, greedy, and shady. They mistreat guests and staff and promote poor values (including nepotism). Big changes are very much needed here.
pretty dang fun. would recommend getting a lot of clothes as place is outside practically the whole time. also like how they don't make you feel bored even without your phone by finding activities for you to do.
My church men's group holds a men's retreat at Michindoh every year. It does me well to spend the weekend with like-minded men who believe in Jesus Christ, who are willing to openly discuss issues that we face day to day and who want to learn more about Jesus.
I picked my daughter up friday and she had the worst week here. She said the same evening she arrived ( Sunday) her ear started hurting. Her camp counselor never let her call me the whole week. She was sent to the nurse several times only to be given an ibuprofen and sent away. The nurse didn t even look at her ear. The entire week she was in pain and they didn t let her call me to come home and be treated. When I picked her up Friday morning her ear had blood and pus coming out of it. I had to drive her straight to an ER and she is still in lots of pain today. The doctor said her ear drum had ruptured. Don t understand why she was denied a phone call to a parent to receive earlier treatment. She cannot hear out of her left ear at all as of right now. I only hope and pray it heals and everything will be ok. She will never go back.
For the past few years, I have had the time of my life there! Not only the summer, but also camp in the school years! The food is awesome and everyone is so kind. The rules are important for everyones safety, and the staff is so wonderful. The biggest mistake I have ever made in my life was deciding not to go 4 years ago and I quickly learned from it!! I can't wait to go again!
all these people writing 5 stars are the summer camp kids. if your one of the kids that is going for 5th grade camp its a whole different story. first of all the camp is infested with wasp's and i was stung multiple times. they also weigh your food that you dont eat which is pretty crazy. but the worst part was when they sent us canoeing in the middle of a storm with strong winds. 3 boats got stuck going out the lake because the wind. all the photos are of the summer camp not the 5th grade camp.
If your idea of sending your kids off to camp include tents, port a potty ( the only allowed bathroom facility and for changing clothes), disgusting shower facilities, lots of hot dogs and sketchy councellors then this is for you. This was the worst camp experience ever!
I came there with Riverside Iron Man Group and it totally changed my life!!!!!!
Great place for all size groups, plenty of activities for all ages. I take my three grandsons & our godson every year.
Attentive staff provide a wide variety of activities, training opportunities, and spiritual care. The campus is in a beautiful, rural setting. It is a great location for sabbaticals for individuals, couples, or groups large and small. Our high school students appreciate the wide variety of activities such as the water slide, indoor archery attack, boating, "the blob", and ultimate Frisbee (and so much more).
It was amazing and I got to see many things and the counselors were great!
I had a really great time there and everything was just really good.
Beautiful surroundings and accommodations for conferences or camps.
I went there this summer for camp, and wow was it amazing. At first I was pretty skeptical, because I had multiple panic attacks on the first day. Although they continued during the nights there, I still had a great time. My favorite day was definitely the first day ( we stayed for 5 ). It felt so real and up-close with nature. And during that last night, right when the swusrs dance ended and Dre gave a speech, I cried a bit, knowing that this was probably my only chance to be there. I constantly am thinking " when can I go back? " Or " what would my friends think of going back with me? ". Being here was truly a pleasure, and one of the best experiences I've ever had. So please, if you get the chance, definitely go here.
It is so fun to be there!! The staff keep it very clean and well organized.
Love this place! Awesome grounds, many amenities, great staff!
What an incredible place. Having worked with hundreds of camps across the country, these folks are incredibly adept at providing an experience that will impact children for a lifetime. The staff here love what they are doing, and the depth of knowledge provided to campers is unrivaled. Thank you for all you do Camp Michindoh!
Went here for a weekend Leadership Retreat. Facilities were awesome. Food wasn't all that great though. Not many vegetarian options.
This place is great. They even have full size beds with bedding and towels in case you forget yours at home
Absolutely awesome. In summer camps, I had fun. Kayaking was very fun. I would normally give it 4 stars, as it has its cons, but since its 4.5 at the moment I want to give it a positive rating. I had fun and I know others did too.
My Wife and I attend the Marriage retreat each year. It is a great opportunity to get away from the business of life and enjoy ourselves. The food is delicious. We play volleyball, make new friends, and have a lot of fun. It is like a weekend long date.
Our kids also love the summer camps. They can't wait to meet the new counselors and spend a week hanging out with their camp friends.
