Chicago Park District at Lindblom Reviews

I love the parks in Chicago, but for Christ sake put in a mass transit system so people don't have to walk over a mile to get in and out of Solider Field.

The Shedd Aquarium is a nice place to take your children.

As part of the community service team I helped pick up garbage. Great place for boat watching and fishing!

At McKinley Park, we have the situation of not being able to use the picnic area, where the tables are, when soccer coaches train their teams, asking why they don't use another area?
they answer that it is the area designated by the park district !!!
is this true ???
Why don't they assign you another area where you can't hurt someone with your activities ???
Who is responsible for my vile medics if someone hits me with a ball and I need to be in the emergency room, ???

I am having such a great time here. Sitting on my chair looking at the water and enjoying people just have fun while others are fishing. Bad part about it! The parking is not free.

The lofts and the shopping area below make shopping accessible for everyday working people and nearby is a lovely beach on the 3900 block of Pershing & South Shore great for walking your pets, hanging out with family and friends.

Scary crowds partying, etc in the parking lot. Nice empty beach and lakefront.

Very well maintained ... great for jogging and walking .... but if you don't have much time to enjoy the good things in town, just buy a postcard, it's worth it.

Nice beach with lots of space. Diverse crowd. Good to go with kids. Had restrooms, play grounds and life guard.
