This is a busy park Always humming with work out enthusiastic folks! Great for those who need motivation.

Take a lazy summer day at the park, swim in the lake, soak up the sun. Or perfect for a run (with mile markers) all the way to downtown Chicago.

There is a large green area, beach and a magnificent view of the lake and the city.

Spectacular park in Chicago on the banks of the great lakes. Put on your slippers and walk it on a sunny day. Unmissable like everything that city has in the open air

We went to go see Circ de Soleil here, it was amazing, it was in a tent, it was really hot out, but they had it well air conditioned.

Great place for amazing views of the city and lake shore drive! Couple beaches and miles of walking in lakeshore.

Awesome place not to be missed when you are in Chicago

We visited here last weekend and I must say that this is one of my favourite parks in Chicago. The air is fresh and the area is big.

Very pretty smaller sized beaches that seem less hectic than Oak St. Beach and would be great in the morning for the younger set. Use public transportation or the Navy Pier garages as this small strip of beach runs along the north side of the pier just east of Lake Shore Drive.

Burnham Park is a large park in Chicago linking Grant Park to Jackson Park. I would say that this park is great for sports or to take beautiful pictures of nature and the sea.

Great waterfront park. Parking is stupid, 1 place which is close is 8 per every 2 hours. There is a really nice beach, playground and skate park all in the area

I enjoy the beautiful sight of the lake and downtown while running!!!

With zero and double zero only the casino wins. Also you are not allowed to play on two tables simultaneously while in Europe it is allowed.

Nice not packed beautiful scenery and you can run and excercise.

Even with all the craziness going on here in the city still it was nice and relaxing walk families were out walking with your children in their animals bike riding and jogging water fall was off behind McCormick Place little disappointed but understandable I don't know what a great afternoon

Awesome recreational park with breathtaking views of the lake and South Loop! Overlooks Burnham Harbor and Soldier's Field directly. Nice bike path that meanders through with spacious parks for relaxing. Especially majestic during the Fall! Right in the heart of all the famous landmarks like the Museum, Adler Planitarium and Shedd aquarium!

First ever boating on Lake Michigan and the view was amazing.

Nice early morning walk, peaceful setting,, beautiful sunrise, open fire pits, must bring your on wood for fire pit. I counted 12 pit. One pit can seat about 9 couples.
Or you can just set at lake bay and listen to the water wave hitting against the rocks

They need to take better care of this park. It s beautiful and historic, but the fire pits are not maintained properly and can be a dangerous.

I didn't explore the park fully when I visited from San Diego, but I did go to the Field Museum. Being spoiled by San Diego museums plus having a love for natural history and nature educational venues, I was in absolute awe of this one museum. It was like a combination of our Natural History Museum, our Museum of Man, and our Museum of Art all put into one museum to amazing results! If you like natural history type museums and other similar educational facilities, expect to spend the full day there. The Field Museum is THAT amazing! That place alone makes me want to visit Chicago again!

Beautiful spot - playgrounds, bike trails, picnic areas - close to 57th Street beach and wonderful views of the Chicago skyline and Lake

Healthy salads and delicious soups. The sandwich are very large.

Beautiful open space to just let your feet get a break on the way from or to the Soldiers Field. Great space to relax or to get more active. Take a break, enjoy, relax on the lakefront. Safe spot it seemed.

Peace & serenity with unparalleled view of the magnificent skyline

A great view of the Skyline. It's simply serene . The salsa music playing in the distance accents the sounds of the waves. Calm winds, close friends, good music, toast 10.

63rd Street Beach(Monday). Why aren't there any women's washrooms opened after 7:45pm?
All three were locked! Leaving the public to use it outside. REALLY!!! That's Ludracris, Insensitive and Unfair!!
Clearly there is a difference;( Administration should start caring for others.

Enjoyed the clean, and safe environment, peaceful and breath taking views.

The field museum was awesome!! I can't wait to go back!!! On a other note, it is not listed but there is basic admission for $22. It is a great deal and there is plenty to see just having the basic admission. The other great way to save is the city pass if you have 3 or more days to do everything. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes because there will be alot of walking :)
