They have a wide variety of crepe. But they don't make a good coffee at all. If you want to get a good crepe this the place you want to go.

Just love this place, the vibe and people. For a perfect Saturday afternoon coffee, crepe and
Interesting menu options. Friendly staff. Fast service. Yummy coffee.
Delicious crepes and great coffee in a warm atmosphere. This is one of my favorite KC restaurants.
Cute place, delicious food, and a charming atmosphere makes it a great place for breakfast/brunch to start a day in a relaxed, energized mood.
Yummmm!!!! So so so good, they have sweet, savory, lunch, and breakfast crepes! So delicious no matter what you order. I always get a coffee as well! I seriously cannot say enough kind and nice things. I also really enjoy their coffee! (They have pastries too )
I've been here three times with coworkers now. The atmosphere is cozy. The food is satisfying, and the coffee drinks are decent (though I'm partial to the French cream soda). Their sweet crepes are definitely better than savory.
My only hesitation is the service. Every time we've gone, they've gotten about 1/3 of the orders wrong and had to be sent back. By the time the new orders arrive, either everything else is cold or everyone is finished. This is true for small groups of three as well as larger groups. And sometimes the servers aren't around but the cooks don't call out the counter so everything just sits up there for 15+ minutes, again arriving to the table cold. If they could tighten up service, it would be a much better place.
Looooveee this place! Savory or sweet crepes. Can t go wrong.
Visited early in the morning... not a very friendly staff.
Never disappointed when I come here! Fantastic food and atmosphere!
If you like crepes you will love this place. Sweet or savory, it's all delicious.
Great place for a lazy weekend morning breakfast on the patio.
Cozy, comforting.... Transports you to a work you wanna be in
Chez Elle pretty much blew my mind my first visit there (of many more to come.) I ordered the Tour Eiffel for my savory crepe--smoked salmon, onions, artichokes and capers with creme fraiche--one of the best things I've ever put into my mouth. For my sweet crepe I chose the Citron--lemon curd and strawberries with whipped cream. Again, ridiculously amazing. And the fact that they offer gluten free crepes for those of us who still want to enjoy the finer things just makes them all the more attractive in my opinion. We went with a larger group on a busy Saturday morning, yet service was quick and food was out faster than I would've expected considering the crowd. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
Great food and atmosphere. Not a place to bring your brats.
Excellent as always! My guests also loved it! Yummy.
The service is awesome. The guys working here are Hella cool and the food is so tasty. This is the first place I'll keep coming to since I moved to the midwest.
Really excellent creperie with gluten free and buckwheat crepes! Savory and sweet, well-made traditional French crepes.
Food is delicious.
Food is good quality and portion
Priced cheap fairly.
Not a fan of the find a seat and put up your number type of service. However, the wait wasn't that bad
Sweet crepes, I've seen that before...but savory crepes, breakfast crepes?! I had the Monsieur breakfast crepe and it was delicious. Great combination of chorizo, egg, and cheese gravy. And for dessert, the Citron crepe with strawberries and lemon curd. I highly recommend this place and will for sure be back.
both the savory and the sweet crepes are amazing! employees are super friendly and helpful! if you go here try a french soda and a macaroon.(:
The best crepes in Kansas City. We go for the crepes but always get a bowl of the Lobster Bisque to share. Awesome!
Best crepes, great selections, fast and friendly service!
This place simply knows how to treat their customers. Regularly with a very kind mindset. The food is fairly priced, constantly flavorful and neat.
Went here for some macarons because it has really good reviews but my macarons are old and stale, quite small, and only so so flavor wise. I can't speak on anything else but youre better off going to another bakery if you want macarons
the tour eiffel is their best on the menu. very charming place
Good food, nice place. I'd eat here again. You should check it out, good place to take a date, for breakfast ;) Seriously, the food is awesome.
They have great crepes here, the gluten free crepes are amazing as well, and let my partner eat here without getting sick, definitely a win-win.
Crepes, yummy crepes! Sweet ones, savory ones, pure deliciousness. Had a nice Bailey's coffee too. Mmmmm. Really cool old theatre building, I shuffled around slowly as I was looking up, down, taking it all in. Will definitely return.
Quick service. Cute location. Too bad the food was not enjoyable.
Omg. This place was delightful. Great atmosphere, delicious crepes. I got the citron and my wife got the patriot. We thoroughly enjoyed the morning in the outdoor seating.
I ordered Breakfast Crepes. They did not look or taste like crepes. They looked and tastex like thin pancakes drenched on syrup. I was not pleased. It was too sweet and spongelike. I did not eat it.
The best feature of this restaurant was the French themed decor. The menu did not feature much variety. The service was very tepid. I left to walk up to the restaurant I had originally planned to dine at!
This place is delicious! A good place to take a family or a date.
Super delicious food, service was great! Prices are so affordable! This will be in my list of favorite restaurants
If its nice outside and youre not at chez elle enjoying a crepe on the patio.. I really dont know what to say..
Chez charlie would be a good secondary stop.
Delicious food and great coffee/tea. Don't try to go in a hurry though. Even on a weekday, before lunch rush or anything, super long lines and food takes even longer. Best for just relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere.
We tried the Chez Elle and Paris crepes and both were good.. Coffee was great as well. Small little place with cozy interiors! Definite check out place.
Good quality crepes and rich quality traditional peasant soups. Both the savory and sweet crepes are worth trying.
Delicious food and drinks not to be said., The coffee is richer than that of the most recognized brands and everything is 100% homemade!
Wonderful food and atmosphere. I think they need to update their drink menu online.
OMG! I had the world's best crepe - and it was gluten free! The Tour Eiffel. Salmon, capers, herb cream cheese and artichoke hearts. Delish! The place is small. You pay up front and then find a table. It got busy right after we got there so the line to order stretched into the dining room. There are two sides to the dining room. The side we sat on faces the open kitchen so it was kind of loud.
Delicious, but a little slow to serve. Great for a leisurely meet up. Highly recommend their crepes- ridiculously good.
The building, location, decor is fantastic.....but it is all about the Crepes of course. Banana and Nutella to be exact. Flavors were all there and a generous portion too. A truly decedent treat. Java juice was good too.
They do a very good job. It gets busy and bustling, however they handle it. Clearly a place to see and be seen. Again, the building is fantastic, with ginormous penthouses on top I was told.
My friend and I went here for lunch yesterday. We were looking for something new. WE FOUND IT. We both found it to be a great place to go with friends or family. It is casual and the food was wonderful. I definitely plan to go again.
A friend suggested trying this cafe on an out-of-town trip while visiting family. I'm a fairly accomplished cook myself and make good crepes. Found no fault in the menu, ingredients or dishes. Customer service was exceptional! The decor and music selections were pleasant. Hope to visit again.
Coffee stuff:good
Potato soup: near the best I ever had
Crepe: very plain
Overall a good experience, but for being a crepe place they were very average.
The best crepes in Kansas City! Super friendly staff and a nice atmosphere!
Fantastic crepes, great atmosphere, beautiful neighborhood. Try the lobster bisque!
Delicious crepes in an adorable place. On the weekends the line can be quite long and seating is limited. It's hard to choose between the sweet or savory crepes as they are all wonderful. One tiny thing I don't care for: you have to go up to the counter to get a coffee refill. It's a minor thing but on the weekend when it's crowded, it can be a nuisance.
Good variety of crepes, but the crepes themselves seemed more like pancakes than crepes. Still worth a try, and quite a nice atmosphere.
Very nice atmosphere. My food was amazing and reasonobly priced. Give this place a visit the next time you're thinking dessert.
Very interesting plane for Kansas City. Built in an older home anyone with walking issues might have trouble with the limited seating outside. I don't think there is any access to the building. Specialty crepes from savory too sweet. The crepe was a bit pancake like in texture but because I had a breakfast crepe it aligned well. Staff is working their takes off at this busy place but are professional and polite. A great experience of you come to Kansas City MO.
Delicious food for a good price. An excellent spot for brunch.
Allergen friendly and a cute atmosphere but a long line for lunch. The food was great!
Very yummy crepes. We have got Patriote and Pollo Verde
My French class was planning on going to chez Elle today as a field trip. Today my teacher called then and they informed her that we would not be able to come. This field trip had been planned for weeks now and my teacher out of courtesy has kept them notified. Today they called her unreasonable for simply explaining the situation. I was very excited for the crepes and excited to try something new. I do not know if I ll visit it now because of this bad experience.
I LOVE CREPES and this place knows how to do it right. I love this place. The crepes are FANTASTIC!
Fantastic crepes! Its a great little atmosphere to bring a laptop, do some work, and enjoy a wonderful staff and great food.
I can't wait to go back. The first time experience was fabulous!
Outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. Yummy crepes.
The crepes were good, my family and I tried the chocolate and banana one (the Paris) and the strawberry and banana (the patriot). the strawberries were not the best, they were still too green, this bitter. The pumpkin coffee was bland. The staff was nice and the service was fast.
Very friendly! But get ready to wait a long long time... loved the food! I d come again.
Chez Elle called my teacher the day of our field trip and cancelled on our large group. We were all super excited on purchasing their crepes and taking part of the tradition of going to get crepes for our French field trips. There were many more options than just cancelling on us. I have no clue what their food is like nor will I ever go and try it due to this poor experience. We are not being unreasonable. You are.
It's gems like these are why the girlfriend and I are always trying new places...
I have no words for their salmon crepe dish... just no words... also the coffee was delicious (which was the only reason we came at first.)
The Paris theme is present, but not overwhelming, (think 54th street where they have the walls covered in decorations. So it's not that.)
The lady who took our order said the line can be out the door, so keep that in mind. If you're coming for the first time (like we did) come at an off peak time. You'll have pretty quick service.
Places like these are the gems you search for looking for new places to try, they also make it really hard to keep to want to keep trying new things... As my lady said, "this good was an experience..."
Definitely recommend trying.
Nice little place. Great atmosphere. They forgot a few things on our order, but then quickly corrected the mistake. Being a fan of chorizo that particular crepe was fantastic. Will be back again!
Went on a Saturday afternoon. No line. Stood at the counter listening to staff argue about tips for a good 5 minutes before acknowledging us and taking our order. Cups set out for water were dirty. Waitress bumped into my friend and caused her to spill some water; waitress walked off and my friend cleaned up bc she didn't want anyone to slip. French onion soup was good; crepes were o.k. The "roasted chicken" in the savory crepes had the consistency of the chicken that comes in a can, it was not good. Went to the counter to ask for a to go box, was met with a sigh and an eye roll. My friend received the same treatment. The only nice staff member we encountered was the girl who brought our food and bussed our table. If you enjoy being treated like your presence is an utter annoyance, this place is for you! My friend actually asked "is this maybe one of those restaurants where they are rude to you on purpose??"
Won't be back. I'd rather spend my money on good food, clean glassware, and kind staff.
This place is AMAZING. I ordered a savory crepe and a dessert crepe. They were both absolutely delicious. The line was a little long and the seating was limited but that's what happens when you have exceptional food. Overall I was very impressed. Great food, reasonably fast service especially for how busy they were. If you have a chance to go, I would highly recommend it.
If you're craving that perfect crepe, this is definitely the place to go! The crepes are made to perfection. The right balance of savory or sweetness depending on which crepe you order. Yum!
I came and left a satisfied customer. I can't articulate the flavors without expletives. The Tour Eiffel is a great choice for a salmon lover like myself. The music played is a 'French-hip' mix. France isn't on my bucket list but I got the feel here.
