I really felt like I was in France in this wonderful little bistro. The crepes we're very large and filling. The decorations inside made it feel very homey and lovely. Enjoyed my breakfast here.

The chorizo crepe I ordered was way too salty but I've been before and I'll go again. The service is always pleasant and the atmosphere lovely. Their coffee is quality, with raw sugar & half'n'half available. I recommend their sweet crepes over their savory crepes. Go early to avoid a line!

Cozy Parisian style creperie with a modern and varied menu of crepe dishes. Delicious for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Amazing cafe as well, coffees and teas are all delicious, and the smoothies are great too. Modern menu options with plenty for vegetarians or vegans. Try the lobster bisque! Great for dates :)

Crepes were a great change of pace! Lobster Bisque, salad and an outdoor table on a beautiful spring day, priceless... Worth every penny and more! Small neighborhood joint that caters to those willing to venture off the beaten path.

Really good crepes and coffee. They have a good gluten free crepe.
My wife has fallen in love with this place and can't get enough of the ham, egg and cheese in a gluten free crepe. I've tried a couple of crepes and enjoy the savory crepes more, but that is a personal preference.
I like the husky mug my coffee comes in and have learned to ask for a to-go cup for that second cup.
If you don't like crepes, you won't care for this place since there is very little else to pick from (i.e. soup, and a few desert options like macaroons, etc).
Be aware that they do a maple bacon that is really sweet. Not sure if they offer regular bacon, but we go enough that I'll find out soon.

Best cafe in town. I just wish they were open longer. The business hour is very short. They close at 3 PM on weekdays. Sometimes I want to go there and do homework and have their great coffee and amazing crepes but they close so soon. They also close at 2PM on Sundays. Definitely check the time before heading this place.

to be honest. i m really disappointed in chez elle because of what happened, all my friends were very excited to go to your place and eat, but since you guys cancelled on us, means that we had a chance to go to Andre s! all of us really wanted to try your savory and sweet crepes, but now that we re kind of mad at this place, my french teacher won t be bringing her next year students to come to Chez Elle! they would be going to Andre s. from now on, she would not be taking her students to your cafe. we could ve made you guys had great customers and we have A LOT of people so it would help the business but you decided to cancel on us! won t ever be going here :) also, Andre s was so delicious and had good service.

Front desk was slow and inattentive. The kids loved their ice-cream crepes, but that's a low hurdle to get over. My crepe was straight up not good. The bacon was beyond over cooked and tasted of oil. There was a lot of pesto. I had maybe one bite that tasted of brie.

This is an honest review. The place isnt bad but it needs some major overhauling. There is an extremely long wait to order your food on the weekend with only one ordering location like a fast-food restaurant. During busy time the line goes out the door. When you pay the give you a receipt with a place to add your tip. But, you havent been served yet. You have to go find your own seat.

The food is decent but there isn't much crepe competition in Kansas City. I think it is just a trendy place for hipsters. They put on the illusion of gourmet and healthy cooking. My wife ordered orange juice and it was poured right from some cheap plastic gallon. It wasn't even a named brand.

The crepes were thick and overdone.

If they would implement a traditional restaurant set up with servers I think it would streamline the experience more. It would also help with tipping. The can still have the order at the bar location for to go meals or people who just want a drink. I think a lot of people walk right past this place because the line. I would concentrate on getting people sat so the line appears shorter. I am sure this will streamline the process and reflect in better tips because of the increased one on one time with the customer.

Personally, we tried it once. We won't be coming back. I am an honest reviewer. I post tons of reviews. If anyone has a question about this review I would love to enlighten them on my opinion. Have a good day.

Today was my first visit to Chez Elle. The crepes were delicious but the customer service could have been better. The worker who took my order, of 2 crepes (1 savory, 1 sweet), at the counter put it in wrong. When my order came out I was given 2 sweet crepes, the one I had ordered and another one that I hadn't, and no savory crepe. I talked to another worker who simply went and found the ticket with my order on it and said that I had ordered what I got but didn't offer to correct it to what I actually ordered. The mishap could've easily been avoided had the worker at the counter repeated my order to me to make sure it was right but she seemed too distracted by her phone to say anything else to me other than my total. I thoroughly enjoyed the crepe that I had ordered, but left a little disappointed because of the mishap. I look forward to visiting again, and I'm hopeful that my next experience at Chez Elle will be better than my first.

We ate here this morning for brunch. The food was wonderful. The crepes were large and very tasty. The photos my daughter shared were enough to get friends to ask if we could make trip back here tomorrow.

Lovely French restaurant with a cafe type feel. They have loads of crepes you can choose from- savory and sweet! I also ordered a mocha which was wonderful! During rush hours it might be hard to find seating.

The ambience is fantastic and I liked the idea of the place. There is a wide variety of crepes. The crepes are on the eggy-y end of the spectrum, depending on what your texture preference is, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. There are also board game available to play with. It's a nice light and very pretty place that adds a lot of character to its community

We tried the Au Chocolat and the Patriote which were each very awesome in their own way. This is a quick service type of place where you order and they will bring your food out. Service is very quick and efficient. Very relaxing atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Would love to try every item on their menu.

Loved the ambiance. Seriously cute place. The two dessert crepes we tried were both delicious. My favorite was the lemon curd. They are pricey, but worth it. They have board games and it's a cozy atmosphere where you can sit and stay awhile.
