Great place to go for a relaxing bite to eat or just to sit and enjoy some good coffee!
Big fan of the coffee and crepes! Cant wait to go back. Neat location as well
This is a lovely little place. Delicious crepes and fun atmosphere. Go early in the morning on the weekends--the line goes out the door by 10:00 or 10:30!
Everything we've had here is awesome. The lobster bisque is a highlight.
Every crepe is simply to die for here.I was practically gorging myself. They have a huge menu of all sorts of sweet and savory crepes and various other delicacies. I recommend the Rose smoothie for something different
Chez Elle is one of a kind in Kansas City. They offer beautiful crepes and coffee in a quaint Westside neighborhood. I lean towards their savory dishes and really enjoy Fromage and Le Franco. My fiance likes the breakfast crepes such as Monsieur, which is a bit more hearty with spicy chorizo and potatoes. If you're looking for a nice place for breakfast or brunch, this is a great one to try.
Really cool environment, very interesting food. Blend of flavors in both the crepes we ordered had something a little off. Definitely a place to try once at least for the experience.
Delicious! Only downside is that it is pretty expensive for small portions, and our service took a while. We had a group that arrived about 10 minutes apart in total, and our food was out at very different times. But overall, a positive experience.
I love this place for breakfast. The combinations of flavors that they have created in their crepes are amazing. It's a bit pricey but worth every bit.
Great selection of different crepes to choose from, friendly staff
Excellent ambiance! Upon approach you're sure to get in the mood of being in the heart of Paris. For me personally, the food was horrible and bland. It had absolutely no taste. I'm a really huge egg lover and my eggs were just so tasteless. It's so very hard to go wrong with eggs. Another thing that annoyed me (besides having to stand in the long line to order as if you're at a truck stop) was when I seen her get a gallon of Roberts orange juice to poor me a glass. Here I am paying $2+ for a small french glass of orange juice and she pulls out a $3+ gallon of Roberts. Oh'boy! Also, the owners and staff appear to all be Hispanic, which is fine. It's just... well it's a french themed restaurant. I just think it's something strange about it is all.
A boyfriend introduced me to this place about a year ago, and though it's pretty out of the way from where I live (south Olathe), it's still a favorite when I'm going to be near downtown or the Plaza throughout the day.
Ah, Sunday mornings with the wonderful staff and some crepes!! Makes my weekend!
Im not much for crepes, but they make some good ones!
Has the best customer service out of 95% of the places I go to. The food is amazing and comes out at a fast pace. I couldnt be more satisfied with anywhere else!
My wife and I love this place! the staff is so friendly and always satisfied with our meal.
I will be back next time I'm in town! Love this place. The right amount of choices for crepes and great service.
Awesome crepes! Savory, sweet, breakfast, gluten and dairy free options, fresh bakery, rockstar coffee! Omgsh, just try this place
Great people and great food in a fun setting. My wife and I split a Tour Eiffel (#2) and a Fromage (#10). They were both fantastic!
One of my favorite spots in KC, especially when the weather is nice enough to sit outside. It is a little taste of Europe amidst the eclectic Westside neighborhood. There are over 20 crepe options to choose from, including savory, sweet, and breakfast crepes. A good variety of alcoholic brunch beverages, as well as coffee and teas.
A walk-in, place your order kind of place. They have a huge board with dozens of crepe offerings. The Eiffle with smoked salmon and the Citron with lemon and strawberries were both absolutely stellar. The monsieur with chorizo was less exciting but still solid. Lovely seating inside and out as well.
Family dropped by for Sunday brunch and shared the Citron, Pomme Tarte, and Monsier crepes which all was fantastic. The Monsier was a great breakfast meal, very savory and filling. The Pomme Tarte was the tasty, sweet with apple. The Citron was good but would have liked it to be more lemon.
Fresh food and great laid back atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Delicious crepes in a quaint setting and SO thankful for vegetarian options!!
This french restaurant is amazing. The food is amazing and its a very peaceful area. There are local shopping stores around as well.
Great service.! A small tip get there early and you could find a table to seat a handful of people. Recommend the nutella and banana crepe a classic.!
Very good cappuccino and delicious food. Service was great
I never knew u loved crepes until I went here get the #23 or 24 with both cheeses delicious topped with an Americano
This is a fantastic and quaint little cafe! The crepes are amazing, both the savory and the sweets. A cozy experience. The service has always been great. The coffee is average, but they are bottomless cups!
Super busy but the wait was reasonable. I tried one of the breakfast crepes. It was tasty. My daughter had the apple tart and it looked amazing. I'm going to try that one next time. Will definitely be back.
Crepes in any way imaginable all so good worth a try it's a cute little bit of Paris in Kansas City Missouri
Delicious Crepes! Huge selection of different types.
A unique interior with fun places to sit. I really enjoyed it and will be returning.
I'm not a huge crepe fan, but now that I have been to an actual creperie I realize that it was that I just hadn't found the type of crepe that I really enjoy. Chez Elle has quite a large selection of crepes, large enough that I'm sure there's one for everyone. Good lattes and decent coffee. Nice atmosphere also.
I went into this dining experience with somewhat low expectations. But by the end I was more than content. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff were fun and vibrant. We ordered the #24 The Monsieur and the #1 Chez Elle and the #15 Citron. And honestly they were all amazing. So I was pleasantly surprised at how well everything tasted. I will definitely return for another meal. All the more reason I cannot believe Ricky Bobby didn't say "I Like Really Fin (Thin) Pancakes" Because I believe this to be amongst the top breakfasts I have had as of late.
NO HANDICAPPED ACCESS. Staff was great, food was great and gluten menu...yay, pricey for the neighborhood, but still a wonderful time and we are glad we came here
Really enjoyed the crepes. We had both savory and sweet. They are priced well and taste great. There was enough room at noon on a Saturday that there were not a lot of issues with space. Service was helpful and prompt but it is counter service and they bring the food to you. Had the cheese blintz, Jampon, pomme tart, and bonjour for 3 of us. It was more than we could finish but we worked our way through them because they were that good. My wife is planning her next trip there.
Crepes were really good and tasty. Could've done with more seasoning but other than that it was delightful.
We loved this place, the variety of crepes is amazing. They have a gluten free option for any of the crepes and I ordered a chocolate gluten free crepe. It was delicious for a gluten free option I was very pleased.
We have celiac family members, the Chez is celiac friendly. The food was delicious, we had breakfast I can't remember what mine was called but it was the best thing I eat all day, we shared our plates they were all great. Highly anticipate returning next time were in KC next.
Almost every detail is ornate, rich in character, and transports you to another place and time. Food is fresh and well made, with an open kitchen concept you get to see them making it! Only giving 4 stars because the coffee was only ok, but I would go back often for the food!
This is OUR place. We love it. The Acropolis is awesome! The pumpkin spice latte is to die for!
Spell bound to even describe how amazing this place and the food here is.
Outstanding crepes. Have never been disappointed. Cute environment.
Bring your own drink , because it's all toddler size... the salt shaker is about the same size as my apple juice. Literally..... it's like 6oz...
Came here for the breakfast Crepes, and it was great. I also had a latte and it was pretty tasty too.
Love crepes? This is the place for you. Savory and sweet crepes, something for everyone. We will definitely go back the next time we're in KC.
The service was less than desired. The food was not my cup of tea
Waited over an hour for a crepe. Slowest service ever. Food not worth the wait.
I have been looking for a place like this in KC for so long and finally found it. Amazing crepes (both sweet and savory) in a lovely atmosphere. Also has great coffee... And there is wine.
I like here lobster bisque soup and bonjur crepes with ham and swiss cheese.
Great food, great prices. One crepe is enough to fill you up. Order at the bar and then seat yourself
We went on a whim and were not disappointed! Go with a group for a shared expierence! The prices are perfect. Great staff. Super comfy environment. Will definitely return to try the savory crepes next!
I love this restaurant! I have been eating here for 7 years and the crepes are really good! The lobster bisque is delicious! I feel like I am back in Paris every time I go!
So good! Best crepes in town, amazing flavor combos, and very vegetarian friendly. Thanks Chez Elle for our yummy breakfast today!
Good selection of crepes :) Fast service and nice atmosphere!
Small place that serves lots of choices of savory or sweet crepes. Has coffee and smoothies. Nice staff and good crepes
One of my favorite breakfast/brunch/lunch places. So many wonderful crepes to choose from!
Really cozy place to eat, especially on the Sunday morning. They have some nice outdoor seating and a large indoor area too. There is a shelf of board games to entertain yourself while you wait.
The crepes were good. The Monsieur was a lot of food and was very filling. The Glace was a sweet, straightforward crepe. It was "some assembly required", not put together like the Monsieur.
Overall, the food was tasty and seemed like a popular place and it was a good experience.
Amazing crepes, excellent service, good atmosphere. I'm vegan, and they have tons of options for me! They can easily modify most crepes.
One of our favorite places to go for breakfast or brunch or to meet someone. Great food and great atmosphere. The building used to be the Summit Theater.
Totally cute and delicious unique place to eat for breakfast / brunch / & lunch. I adore the savory crepes served here. The chorizo one is my fave! Worth trying if you re in town. Pics will come soon.
Delicious crepes and cheese blintzes! A favorite spot for brunch with both outdoor and indoor seating.
The crepes are delicious and the atmosphere is nice.
The food and service are fabulous! Great place to eat and talk with friends!
We went there by gps guide. And gps took us at a parking spot from where you can t find the restaurant as it is not exactly opposite but you have to walk along the road after turning left and there is a store with graffiti and again a small housing road then you will find your restaurant. This was our first time in French crepe. My husband ordered salmon crepe savory one. He said it was good. I ordered tropical one. Fruits was not tastings good. Kiwi was horrible, mango taste funny but coconut was okay. I enjoyed this crepe though without fruits. And yes when we were ordering, the girl who took order was talking with other employees in another language and They were talking too much disregarding that customer were standing. I felt it offensive. Though she apologized for her behavior. I would go sometimes here again and hope they will maintain professional etiquette.
They have the BEST lobster bisque!!! Highly recommend
