Best creperie in town! The crepes are all good with a variety of sweet and savory choices available. French wine and espresso for the adults and hot chocolate for the kids. Board games are at hand in the room off to the left when you come in. Ordering at he counter is not my favorite way to dine, but the staff is friendly and efficient. Marvelous former theater space on the west side in Kansas city.. close to downtown and the crossroads areas.

Their breakfast crepe was pretty good, but what I liked best was the staff. There is a young Mexican lady in there that is one of the friendliest people I've ever met. We had conversations about adventures, where we're from, me being new to KC, & biking/busing from Blue Springs that day. She also recommended some points of interest in downtown to me.

I gave 4 stars b/c the crepe had a bit too much cheese on it & the eggs tasted cheap. The sauce was BOMB, though. Overall, pleasant experience, but please fix those eggs.

Pictured are the vegan crepes, which were decent but not mad decent. I appreciate that they have vegan crepes, though I wish they were easier to order. Like, if they had a couple of vegan choices on the menu rather than a side note indicating vegan batter was available.

The crepes here are amazing! Must try if you like crepes. My three year old daughter even enjoyed the savory crepes. They have patio seating and plenty of seats indoors. Drinks are great too- this spicy Bloody Mary will burn your lips! Parking can be tough- look for street parking in the surrounding area. Located in an historic building in the Westside in KC, it s worth a trip!

Wonderful breakfast. My wife got a breakfast crepe with bacon and egg. I had the breakfast crepe with chorizo, potatoes, and scrambled eggs. Our two children got sweet crepes, the tropical (I can't remember the other). It was all delicious. We sat outside and really enjoyed the ambiance.

Chez Elle called me on the day my large group was supposed to come in to tell me they could not accommodate my group. I had called ahead (not out of necessity, just courtesy) to warn them that a large group would be coming. I had to call 4 times and ask for a manager, each time being told the manager would arrive later until finally she told me the manager wasn't coming. The girl on the phone told me they could accommodate me and that they would have tables set up for my group. Then, the day of, she called me back to tell me that they couldn't accommodate my group. This was a field trip of low-income students that had poured over the menu and were very excited to go. When I called back to express my disappointment and tell her we would be going elsewhere for all future field trips, the same girl then called me "unreasonable" and said "fine. Go somewhere else!" very angrily. I never raised my voice. I was just stating the facts, but she got very emotional. I've been going to Chez Elle for years and I'm so disappointed that I now have to leave this bad review. Fortunately, Andre's Confiserie Suisse was able to accommodate my group on the same day, reserve us tables, and give us a special menu in order to make it more affordable for my students. Thanks, Andre's and shame on you, Chez Elle.

Every kind of crepe you could imagine. This is a great brunch place but is very busy on the weekends. There is a wait and you order and pay before you sit. You seat yourself and get your own water at different stations. But they make your crepes to order and bring them to your table. It is a small place, so I don't recommend going in a large group unless you are ok with sitting at separate tables. There is outside seating and the atmosphere is fun. The food is amazing. This is one of my favorite brunch places in Kansas City.

The Latte Miel is my favorite coffee ever and I can never find it on another coffee shop's menu so ordering one at Chez Elle is a must when I'm in KC! The crepes are never a letdown and there's one for whatever you're craving - breakfast, lunch, or dessert (try the Tour Eiffel).

Parking can be a bit tricky during peak times b/c you're limited to streetside in a residential area, but it's worth the hassle.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Thank God there were no unruly children picking flowers, or incompetent parents allowing their children to hang all over the railing. Everyone here appears to know how to act in public, and takes responsibility for raising their children properly. Don't let some irresponsible inconsiderate ignorant woman scare you away from a great place.

It has been a while since I last visited and honestly it has only gotten better. Savory or sweet they have it all and it's sooooooo delicious. The west side wouldn't be the same without this charming place.

Got here about 30 minutes after they opened and sadly they were having some late staff issues so we weren't sure if we could get food before needing to leave. Luckily, the cook staff was on their way in right as this was explained to us. Both our order taker and chef made sure we had exactly what we wanted and even let us get a sweet crepe on the house for our wait. Overall, worth the try! Can't wait to go back on my next visit.

We always have such a great experience here! The food is delicious. Be prepared to wait in line, because they're usually pretty busy on the weekend, but it's worth the wait. They have great coffee drinks to go with your crepes as well.

If you're looking for a hotel in the Bellevue area, this one is great on your wallet with all of the comfort of some more expensive hotels in the area. The king size room I stayed in was a great size and came with a balcony area which was great (although not quite needed for the time of year). The...

I'm never disappointed here. Before coming to Chez Elle, I had only had one type of crepe. Now I feel confident I could try anything on their menu and would love it. Plus I always love to grab a couple macarons to bring home for later!

Very cute place with excellent french press coffee. So many good menu options, it was really though to decide which crepe I wanted to try. Ended up with a breakfast style one and have no regrets. Definitely recommend, specially to coffee lovers.

Food was good. The menu from their website and the menu inside are different. Because of that and the noise there was miscommunication in our order. But, the staff and service were friendly, food was good.

I am not a fuzzy person, I have eaten unimaginable places and been quite satisfied with it. I called to see if they needed reservations, the person answering said I had to talk to the (absent) manager, because she did not know. Really? When stepping in this place, it is clear that clients are an afterthought and charging is not. It is the mighty dollar God being adored here. Not a single welcome word, only a, "You may order here". Not even, "Please help yourself for some water while I will bring your order at your table." The crepes did not reach the expected result, even in the simplest cup of beans, of reuniting the ingredients into a nice, I am not even going for fabulous here, palatal experience. Both our crepes were just a bunch of ingredients wrapped in dough, covered in sour cream (like Tex-Mex, where everything is swimming in melted cheese). No idea about dealing with wine (cold, enhancing tastelessness). My daughter does a better job at washing glasses for water and wine than whomever does such job at this place. The service and food do not justify the prompt and high price that we were made to pay upfront. I recommend this place for walking by it (looks nice on the outside), but not for entering it.

Came to Kansas City for restaurant week, was recommended this place by a friend for breakfast. Cozy little place on the West Side. Delicious food. Ideal for spring and Summer. I will be back.

Best crepes in KC. I love this place. They have authentic french crepes of different flavors. Savory, sweet and breakfast option. Specialty coffees: hot and iced, smoothies and soft drinks. They use fresh ingredients and food had good flavor. Beautiful french like decoration and ambiental french music. Also the building where they are at its and old historical place, it has a unique vibe. Perfect to hang out with girl friends or to have a cute informal date.

Such delicious crepes. You can have fruity crepes or savory breakfast crepes. But it can get very busy on weekends so be prepared for a 20 minute wait or so! The inside is decorated with unique adornments. A must visit restaurant!!
