We went around 10 o'clock on a Saturday morning and waited about 5 minutes in line to order and 10 more for our food. The prices were completely reasonable and the flavor and presentation of our crepes cannot be overstated. A nice little Parisian-flair made us feel a bit fancy and important, without breaking the bank. (We got 2 crepes - 1 pictured and 2 iced chais for ~$28.)

Not only is the food amazing, but the ambience is so relaxing. It's a great place to unwind and recharge your internal batteries. The crepes are incredible with rich flavor and inventive combinations. They also have the best lobster bisque you'll find anywhere in KC. This is a bucket list kind of place. THE BEST!

I love the idea of a creperie anywhere. It's fun and light but pairs well with being a cafe. I ordered the citron crepe and although it was good the strawberries were definitely frozen. I'd still recommend stopping by if you're looking for a cute french cafe in the area.

Sorry, this was just awful. The staff was surly and did not understand the names of their own crepes. I ordered the Eiffel - it was like a plate of dried papier-mache'. My husband took 2 bites of his and said no more. We actually went to IHOP after that for crepes, that's how desperate we were for crepes. I cannot recommend this place, just an overall disappointment and waste of money.

Amazing place to get really good quality food. The crepes are very fresh and unique, and the daily soups are delicious as well. My favorite crepes are the Fromage (Brie, bacon, pesto, and creme fresh), and the Citron (Lemon Curd). The Lobster Bisque is also tasty!

Lobster Bisque was the best... ever. The cashier was really attentive and good we forgot the wallet and she was really nice about it when we had to leave and come back... she was leaving when the food hit the table and the lunch rush was over. I would say service became pretty non-existent after that. Food was pretty good I would go back just to have a bowl of the bisque.

Had the Tour Eiffel and it was delicious! Ordering was fast and easy, coffee was great. Atmosphere is lovely and our food arrived quickly. There was no wait on a Saturday morning and finding a table was not problematic. All the crepes I saw at other tables looked divine; I don't think you can possibly go wrong here.

Owner is not kid friendly. While having breakfast with my family, my daughters were innocently looking at the flowers, that apparently are way more expensive than the four meals we just paid for, and drinks we had, and they picked two of them, as any kid would. This apparently was unacceptable behavior for a 2 and 5 year old. So unacceptable in fact that the owner felt the need to come tell us that she "would prefer if they didn't pick the flowers, I put a lot into them, I am owner ". That would be no problem if my child wasn't startled by her and lost her grip on the handle bar and causing her to fall over into the railing. Not only did this cheap-flower-loving "owner" cause her to fall, she continued to tell us about her precious two dollar flowers after she saw my daughter fall and hit her head extremely hard, didn't help her up, didn't ask if she was ok, but continued to tell us about her hard work she put in her dollar store flowers. Thanks for the great experience. Your hard work has apparently not paid off since you can't afford decent flowers. Good day, I said good day.

I used to come here often for quick meetings and catch up dates with some co workers. I enjoyed the food until one day I came in and ordered crepes and found a hair on my plate and my coffee was cold! The service was a 1/10 and employees were just standing around. This was my go to spot but I don t plan on returning ever again!

Funky atmosphere with Parisian decor. The cheese blintzes are my favorite. The dessert crepes are beyond amazing! Reasonable prices and the crepes are all made fresh. This is one of our favorite places for breakfast or lunch. (They close at 3:00 pm.)

This is a very high class establishment with a working class price. You can enjoy the finer side of brunch with a wide variety of crepes and coffee all in a unique mood and setting. Would recommend on a weekend outing.

With brunch being the big craze nowadays, there's so many options to choose from and Chez Elle is one of my go-to places. They're never too busy to where you can't enjoy your meal because it's too loud or no table and the food never takes long. I've tried many if the crepes on the menu and have yet to be disappointed by one. Definitely a place worthy of checking out if you're looking for a lowkey brunch restaurant or just want some good crepes.

Whether you are craving sweet or savory, this is the crepe place for you. Ice cream, fresh fruit, chocolate upon chocolate. Their signature crepe is the Chez Elle with mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, cheese and a tasty red sauce. If you're not in the mood for crepes, they have a delicious lobster bisque. The hot chocolate and cookies are also amazing. The line is usually long, but it is definitely worth the wait.

I enjoy finding local places. Unique inside seating. Love that they have french press for coffee. Food is good. Coffee is good and serves real cream. Ordering was a interesting experience as its all on a big board above the door. My expectation was a table sevice type restaurant. This is more coffee shoppe with crepes as food.

Family of two ate here for brunch today. We split the ham, egg & cheese crepe and the strawberry, banana & blueberry crepe. Once you order at the window you find a place to sit. Tables were spaced out well and there are several outside too. Two crepes and two bottled waters were $23. It took about 20 minutes for our food to arrive. Their crepe recipe is really good. We definitely will be back.

My sister, mother and I went to brunch here. The building is quaint and it had a pleasant atmosphere. We split 3 crepes, and, while we all had our favorite, they were all delicious! I look forward to going back to try others. The selection was impressive!

We love this place. Every time we visit KC it is at the top of our list to stop and eat. Good is awesome. We always try different crepes one sweet and one savory and enjoy. Would highly recommend.

This place is great. They don't only have sweet Crepes but they also have Savory Crepes. We've made a New Year tradition out of going here on the 1st of January every year. I've tried a new crepe every time and they are all good. The lobster bisque is divine.

An Amazing Kansas City Creperie

An Amazing Kansas City Creperie
This morning, we ate brunch at Chez Elle Creperie Coffeehouse. Not only was it amazing, but it was also located in the up and coming Westside neighborhood at 17th and Summit. Chez Elle is located in the renovated Summit Theater building, location of the first movie theater in Kansas City that showed movies with sound. I highly recommend the Bonjour crepe filled with bacon and cheese, and topped with scrambled eggs. Chez Elle has wonderful French decor, an interesting history, an urban neighborhood, wonderful food and coffee that just makes me happy!

My family loves eating here. They have excellent quality crepes, both sweet and savory. My go-to is the La Franco, which is technically a savory crepe because of the brie, but it crosses over into sweet with apple pie filling and fig jam. This crepe somehow made fig jam eatable, which is a minor miracle. They do not have decaf coffee, but they have decaf espresso. Overall, highly recommended.

I've been coming here for years and I'm delighted to bring first-timers to experience the Crepes and outdoor seating. I dare say it is a institution at this point one I've enjoyed many times throughout the years.

Really good crepes. Have not had any bad ones so far. Large selection. Have to try them all. Can be crowded at times, but not anything crazy. Lots of seating inside and out, but can get full.
