Excellent starter of crispy plantain chips with guacamole. My entree of a simple grilled Atlantic salmon with steamed cauliflower and a grilled lemon was delicious and super tasty and healthy to boot.

It was not remotely the same quality as it is in DC, mediocre at best. Brussels were strange - stems on, weird breading, wasabi tasting didnt work, and mushy on the inside. Sandwiches and burgers were ...eh. not great. Spicy was not even close to spicy. We were left wanting and went to get some more palatable food. Sorry. At least the service wasnt bad so thats the 2nd star.

My experience here was great! My wife and I care for Valentine s Day yesterday and everything from the food, to the drinks, to the waitress.. everything was great The calamari was to die to for, I wanted 2 orders.. the crab cakes was yummy!! I will be back for happy hour

We had a daytime flight to London, and unless you are traveling first class, the food on domestic carriers is pretty bad, so I wanted to board the plane not hungry. There was not a premium lounge to which we had access at this terminal so we went to Chef Geoff s. The hangover burger without the bun was perfect for my low carb regimen, and they even cooked it rare for me. I never trust a restaurant that does not trust their ground beef dough to make it rare. The service was friendly and exceptional.

Food is alright not not great. It shouldn't take 15 minutes to pay for your food especially at an airport when you have a flight to catch!

I almost walked out because the server would not pick up my check fast enough. Two stars due to really slow service.

My partner and I suffered major food poisoning from eating here roughly two weeks ago. The salmon burgers seemed a bit fishy but I decided to trust it anyway. Boy was I wrong. The next two days I was unable to leave the bathroom, and didn't feel myself for a full week after. Food prep is definitely a concern here. I have visited cheff Geoff's on many occasions but I think that is the last time I will ever eat here. Eat at your own plight, it wouldn't surprise me if there were other cases of this that night.

Asked the bar tender if she could ask people to remove their brief cases and duffel bags from seats so we could sit at the bar and her reply was I can t ask people to do that or move?! Really!? Chef Geoff for real that s your policy!? Obviously, he needs to hire people who are not stupid. Have been to many of Chef Geoff s airport facilities and have seen them ask people to do so. As well as other establishments.?Very poor bar tender and unconcerned about seating people.

Overrated and overpriced food that is only successful because it is the only restaurant within walking distance from American University. They could use some competition so they are more responsive to customer demands.

The ambiance is busy, and crowded. Definitely not conducive to a phone call or relaxing while waiting for your flight.

The food, unfortunately, leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and it was just barely edible. It arrived cold. The bun was dry, the cheese was plasticky, and the lack of flavor was surprising. there was a dry jalapeno on top, but it looked as if it had it not been intentionally dried, just sat under a heat lamp for too long. Obviously, it wasn't under a heat lamp recently. Ha ha.

A side salad that came with it was lettuce with a bit of thousand island dressing placed in dabs. Not a single other vegetable.

The service was good, and everyone was friendly. However, the priority pass system makes it just too crowded. if you are a priority pass member, there are no other options in the c&d terminal, so you're stuck. they seem to have a corner on that market. The $28 that they give you for priority pass membership can go a long way if you don't drink anything. My diet coke and spicy chicken burger came out to $20 even.

Overall, it will do in a pinch, but I would prefer a lounge for good ambience. Or a real restaurant with decent food if I'm after food.

It was an average burger cafe as airport cafes go. The burger was cooked to order and the fries were well done with a firm core and not too greasy. The order was delivered last enough to enjoy a little rest period between flights. The staff was very eager to wait on you and provide anything that may have been missed. Overall, a pleasant experience.

The food and drinks etc. are good. I have noticed the head bartender is discriminatory. He needs some diversity and inclusion training asap as does one of the female maitre de. Also a friend of mine who is wholly American, just not 100%white, noticed the negative 'attitude". This place caters to the bourgeois uptight DC types who do not like to mingle with non-white people. Boo...racists....good place for Trump supporters. Need a meme of the restaurant with a sign "For White DC denizens only" ...that needs to go viral and the current management needs to be shown das boot...along with the lousy head bartender who works weekends

For 60 dollars including tip... the Turkey was dried out,, the potatoes cold, the soup over sugared and the chocolate sauce on dessert tasted like cheap hearshey from the plastic bottle. Not good for that price. The coffee was good.

Super slow, not friendly and incompetent service. The dining room was half empty. Prices are high for this type of bar food. Be prepared to be ignored and wait half an hour. The server lady missed half of our order and we only got one appetizer. After all that.

Was not a huge fan of the avocado toast. Brunch was fine overall, bit great. But... I could have just eaten the homemade donuts with dipping sauce all day and been good. They were the best donuts I've had in a long time.

Food and service are outstanding. NY Strip Steak and Pecan Crusted Salmon were the meals ordered, the desserts Skillet Cookie and Carmel Apple Crumble , and the wine Cabernet Sauvignon, Chef Geoff s . Everything was delicious. All staff was polite and caring. The ambience is cozy, and all safety measures related to Covid have been followed. I highly recommend this place.

Ok here's the deal. Most of the food is...fine. the burger is good - get an extra side of the chipotle aioli. Use Priority Pass to get a discount. Sweet potato fries are nice and crunchy. It'll do in a pinch.

Pricey, deep fried bacon chef Geoff would not be happy.

The service of Lady Tigest was very kind focused, quiet and gentle. I very much liked the delirious Big Super Kaile salad and the Chardonnay that went along with. It has its price like on every airport in the world but it was worth it.

Typical airport food. Everything was ok but not great. Unfortunately their system had been down since yesterday and they weren't accepting credit cards, which they neglected to tell you when they sat you and took your order. Significant inconvenience for corporate travellers and the ATM fee in the airport is a bit excessive. I'm sure they aren't happy about not accepting cards but I feel they should at least inform customers when taking orders or minimally put a sign up.

Great food, came after American University's Law School graduation with a large party. My main issue was the horrible Bloody Mary they made. Their "house mix" had an absurd amount of horseradish in it; their mix tasted like straight cocktail sauce. It was impossible to drink & I had to give it back. The bartenders need this replaced immediately. I'm shocked that this hasn't been brought up by others...please fix this for future patrons, asap.

Very slow and confused staff. Ordered a chicked sandwich with a small bottle of water and orange juice. But ended up only with the drinks. They took forever to prepare the food that never came and I boarded my flight 45 minutes later without my food.
Maybe it was the people working that day. But It was horrible service from start to finish.
I ended up buying breakfast at the pretzel shop where they provided excellent service.
So if you dont have a few hours for brakfast or lunch, I would recommend you got to a different restaurant.

This Chef Geoff's is very much like the others: family friendly, serving blah food, and mobbed for no apparent reason. Pizza and salmon came out cold and had to be remade, snapper was tough, fishy, and clearly frozen, desserts were over baked and disappointing. The space is jammed with too many tables, guaranteeing you'll be jostled by others while seated. The saving grace was our service, which was delightful and accommodating throughout.

Speed of service was decent and coffee was good but the food was not good. My French toast was really hard like I hit it with my knife and it made a sound like I had hit the table. It had almost no whip cream and lacked flavor. The apples feel canned are just under the toast. No real thought put into the dishes. For $18 I really want a decent breakfast. Dont go here unless you just want coffee and eggs.

Conveniently located near terminals. Good selection of food and ~6 different draft beers representing different beer type. Severs seems very nice and well attentive. With a limited selection of beer and food price, review can be 4, but considering being in airport, 5 would be appropriate.

Great service! I received the wrong order, but the manager and server both came out to apologize and offered my correct order on the house. One of my favorite happy hour spots hands down.

Unbelievably bad service staff! Took forever to take our order and bring the food. Never actually gave us menus - we had to go and get some from the waiter's stand. Never even brought us cutlery at all and I had to ask for the bill multiple times.

Food was expensive and really not very good at all. Avoid!

Doesn't want to honor Priority Pass. Prepare to wait a long time to sir, to order, to talk to a manager about using your Priority Pass. Go to A or B and actually take advantage of your benefit. Basically like a Groupon place that got way too busy and now doesn't want to honor their coupon. Also, wouldn't accept my airline voucher (essentially cash) with Priority Pass.

I have food sensitivities and I have previously eaten at this restaurant and had good experiences. This past time I ate there the waiter was clearly not knowledgeable about food sensitivities/allergies and made multiple mistakes that caused me to eat foods that I am intolerant to and have not consumed in years. Although I stated that I could not eat gluten or dairy before each item that I ordered on the menu, his negligence caused me to accidentally consume dairy and lead to me feeling tired, depressed, inflamed, and experience brain fog. When I ordered the steak and fries, the waiter failed to inform me that the fries were cross contaminated because of their fryer. Thankfully, one of their managers named Maria caught this mistake shortly before we were served and helped me choose a safe substitution. Second I ordered coconut sorbet for dessert after confirming that it was both gluten and dairy-free. The waiter then brought me the "sorbet" with a sugar cookie that contains gluten. After eating a few bites of the sorbet it became clear that they had substituted coconut ice cream that contains dairy. He did not inform me of this and it was only after I questioned the waiter that he admitted the mistake. The manager Maria came over to apologize and comped our meal. They have communication issues and lack of knowledge about food allergies that is alarming considering they specifically label many items on their menu as gluten free. The manager David also called me the next day and left a message asking me to email him, however he has not responded to the email and was unable to be reached when I called the restaurant. This was a disappointing experience.

Overall this place is a good spot for dinner and drinks. It is usually very crowded but still relaxed enough that you can have a conversation. The beer specials are great, and the salmon bacon burger is always tasty. Has the pretzel as a appetizer and it was not bad.

Went to Cheff George's for the first time as friends were incredulous that we had not. Maybe it was a bad day ! Our drinks did not come for a long time ! The food was tasteless . Fish tacos can be described as a piece of fried fish on tacos with lots and lots of shredded cabbage and liberally splashed with mayonnaise ! Tasteless ! Prices were ok but not worth it for this particular dish. This place is hyped up ! A very ordinary place ! Never again . Glad there are many other good places to eat in DC
