Love going here! The staff is amazing, the food is great and the shows are always amazing.

The show sounded great couldn't see very poor seating arrangement needs serious improvement.
Worst food no flavor, mushy, chicken had fat and skin it was slimey. Was supposed to be stuffed chicken breast it was not! The supposed filling mushy rice was just under slimey chicken...

Watched an outstanding performance of Mama Mia with the family. Dinner was excellent too. Very enjoyable evening!

Momma Mia was fantastic!! The food was fabulous and it was so much fun! Fun for family and friends to go to together!

Great staff and fabulous singers, actress's and actors.

Shows here are always fun to see. Food is always good to eat. Prices are a little high for what is provided. Serving staff tends to be a little disappointing as they always take forever to show up to take your order and then even longer to receive food. I don't entirely fault the staff as I believe they are understaffed for the size of the venue. The venue attire is ok, but feels a little dated and unwelcoming. If you ignore the rest and watch the show the shows are usually really good.

The Eagles tribute band was fabulous the dinner was excellent. It was a beautiful Saturday night. Nice job Chanhassen Dinner Theater.

We attended the play Holiday inn at the chanhassen dinner theater. It was an early Christmas present. We arrived about 30 mins early before lunch service. I suggest making time to look thru the boutiques in the back but if you do bring money! Some things are expensive but everything was so cool. The food was great at the lunch service, pay more and get the refillable cup or you will have to make due with water. The menu is full of really cool dishes but if you are a picky eater like me there is chicken strips and French fries, the waiter was very sweet too. The show starts about 2 hours after lunch. If you did not buy out the table STRANGERS WILL SIT WITH YOU.
I can not say how wonderful the show was, it was amazing. I want to go back asap. It was the best time I have had in years.

Fantastic. Can't say much else. Great food, drinks, the staff are friendly, and the shows that are performed are stellar. The best place for dinner and a show.

I went to see Ariel with my daughter, granddaughters and a friend. We sat down front. It was super. We ate there too and the food was delicious. I bought my son and daughter-in-law tickets for any show they wanted to see last year for Christmas and they enjoyed every minute. I am going to do so again this year.

I love going here. I got to take my 5 grandchild here to see her first play. The little mermaid. It's a memory vi will never forget. All the plays I seen here have been awesome

I've never experienced something so unbelievably cool. Before the show we had dinner which was the most delicious pasta dish I've ever had, i would go back just for that but then the show was amazing and then during intermission dessert came out a d I had the turtle cheesecake, this cheesecake was fantastic and delicious, I also had some amazing coffee. The staff was also really amazing and helpful. 20/10 would recommend.

It is so cool I saw THE LITTLE MERMAID AND I LOVED IT SO COOL! (going again tonight to see mary poppins)

My family and I just went to see Mamma Mia. The Chanhassen Dinner Theater is always one of our favorites and I am so impressed with the quality of actors on the stage and the service we get every time we go there. We just love everything about your place and want to thank you for providing such a good entertainment.

The production of Beauty and the Beast was very true to the familiar story and the actors were fantastic. Food wasn't memorable, but who cares?

They could class up the room we were in. Not as nice as the theater. Food and show were good, server was kind of a putz.

We went here tonight for a work function and this place is so awesome. The food is fantastic, try the red snapper and the sweet potato cheesecake. Wow. The wait staff was quick and eager to serve. And we saw Camelot, equally great. With a live band playing the music and a superb cast, the entire show delivered. Great experience, we can't wait to do it again.

This is such a tradition. I remember coming to CDT when I was in high school over 30 years ago. Love the service and the variety of the entertainment. I love bringing my family for an evening out and special occasions. Let them know and the host will announce the birthday. Anniversary or other occasion. Enjoy!

The shows here are amazing! Never a disappointment. Not only are the musicals a hit, but the Christmas shows in the other theaters are wonderful, too. There is also a lovely Christian book and gift shop and women's apparel shop in the building that is always a joy to visit before or after the show. My only complaint is their menu really needs an upgrade. It is always the same and pretty boring.

Attended a wedding party here - the food was good. Access was easy in and out - nice covered walkway along the store fronts.

We saw Mamma Mia really good show great actors and actresses hadn't been in a long time but the singing and acting was impressive. The food was good too.

Always a great time! A terrific dinner and yummy desserts during intermission! The plays are very professional and super entertainment!

Just saw Newsies and it's one of the best shows I've seen there in a while.

This was my 3rd time to Chanhassen. We saw "Holiday Inn". Phenomenal performance as usual! The food was great, the staff were wonderful and the venue was clean. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

The experience was very nice and social distancing was in full effect. I didn't feel like my risk factor was up at all. We enjoyed A Night of Wonder, the music of Stevie Wonder and it was a great performance. The band was top notch and Jessie Larson's vocals and guitar were amazing! Seriously, Jessie is a powerful vocalist, but when he picks up his guitar it's like the power company suddenly diverted all electricity into his body and it comes out through his guitar!!!!! He's a musical tsunami and when the waves hit me I am overtaken with joy!! Have you heard his single Woman from The Voice? Download it now! You won't regret it!!

Ok. This theater hasn't changed much since I was a young cocktail waitress there earning money for college. (Longgggg time ago.) But that makes the atmosphere full of character. I love that. It feels special. I also think the music there is there strong suit, and that the food is quite good.

Everything was top-notch: The food, the service, the presented play, etc. My first experience at CDT, and am looking forward to the next visit.

Performance was great. Not as pleased with the meal. Should have known better & ordered something else as I don't like that sauce that was poured over my chicken. I will be back but order something else.

We saw Mama Mia, 02/07/2020! We have the pit front row seats. Dinner was fabulous and relatively inexpensive. My husband had prime rib for $17! He said it was delicious. We laughed our butts off at the performance of Therese Walth (Rosie) and Jay Albright (Bill). I have to share that Michelle Barber is KILLIN IT!

Good good, great service, amazing show and the casting was fantastic! I recommend this place to all! The experience is so amazing and the cast really know how to put on a wonderful show!

We were utterly shocked at the dinner theatre experience. The food was very good (and of a good quality) and the entertainment uplifting.

I have been going to Chanhassen Dinner Theatre shows since I was about 10-years-old and I have never been disappointed! Great shows and delicious food. From the wait staff to the actors, and from the hosts to the announcer, everything and everyone is the highest quality! Worth every penny we pay to come!

Went to Sister Act. Good performance and good music. Unfortunately (I assume due to copyright) they couldn t use any of the songs from the movie.

Prime rib is $15 extra, but I thought it was worth it. All the food was pretty good.

The selection is food was good and the performance of Mamma Mia! was the best performance of the four I've seen so far at CDT. My daughter and I are planning to see it again!
