Saw Mamma Mia with family and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Food was alright, wine was great.

it my 1st time there. the place was beautiful, the food was very very good, the staff was amazing, the play was awesome!!! I hope I get to go again!!!

We brought grandchildren ages 8 & 11. They enjoyed the meal and performance. It has a feeling of such a special evening. The wait staff was efficient and courteous. The food was served with hot food hot and cold food cold.
It is an amazing place, sufficient parking, good traffic flow with 2 or 3 performances happening the same day.

We went to see a showing of Disney's Newsies. I honestly had a bit of low expectations for such a small theater. But it was thuroughly impressive. All the actors we're spot on with the roles and the stage technicians really immersed you in the play. The food was 4/5 good but the real draw here is the fact that you eat dinner while in the theatre area. I am looking forward to my next one!

We saw "Newsies" Fabulous production. Chanhassen has out done themselves. Exceptional voices and dancers. Do not miss.

Great food,great talent,but as it got closer to show time, the theatre got colder and colder. I looked around and people were starting to put their jackets on and hold themselves trying to get warm. Also it's super crowded in there. They tell you to keep the aisles clear,but depending on your table location you may not be able to get out of your seat or even stand without everyone on your side of the table getting out of theirs.

Quaint little place. Loved their latest production of Holiday Inn. Will definitely come back. My only wish is that they would stop nickle and diming you with their dinner 'upgrades'.

I haven't been there in years, but it was better than I remember. The show was spectacular and the food was amazing.

Love to see the musical it's a little tight inside but it's nice.

Saw Holiday Inn. Entire evening was wonderful - food, service, and the play.

Food was very good and came out quickly. Even though the staff was rushed they were friendly and helpful.

Great experience. Directors suite is great for groups.

I was actually quite impressed as I had never been here before. We saw Beauty and the Beast and it was so fun. I was amazed at the production quality. The food was pretty good and the service top notch. I will definitely be looking to return. I would love them to accept digital tickets though.

First off, Mama Mia was FANTASTIC!! BETTER THAN THE MOVIE with Meryl Streep.
The disappointment came with the atmosphere....in seriously needs a make over, very tired and worn, uncomfortable booths and chairs.
Ticket prices, drink and dessert prices continue to rise $$$ while meal selection has taken a step backwards. (Cheaper pasta, salad, meatloaf choices). Disappointed....not the Chanhassen of the 80's, 90's.

Wonderful evening out. Food was delicious and not a bad seat in the theater.

My friend was married here. I was in the wedding! Everyone was so accommodating and helpful! Very professional.

Watch Mamma Mia and had an amazing time. Food is great, cute little shops to browse while you wait. Has a bar and lounge area too but didn't check those out.

This was the first time my husband and I went to the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, we saw Grease and had their Chicken Special, both were very good. Would go again

We went and saw Beauty and the Beast amazing performance and we enjoyed the food as well. Try to go with 4 people and get a booth or a two person table if you are a couple sharing a table with others try to get the seats up against the wall/ ledge, they are on the inside of the table so you have to get past other people to sit but the view is good!

Mamma Mia was amazing food was good and service was excellent

Stevie Ray's Comedy Cabaret is fin and the food is delicious!

Just saw Mamma Mia ~ what a treat! Our food was delicious, Matt our server was so professional and attentive, and the play was outstanding. Bravo! Highly recommend.

I have been here 5 or so times and I have never been disappointed till now. Show was amazing, staff was great but the appetizers and food were pretty much all dissapointing... hopefully it was a new kitchen staff and it will go back to being really great the next time.

Great performance only drawback were tablemates on cell phones.

Atmosphere was very nice and the food was very good as well.

Always a fun time. I have been coming here since I was five years old. The first show I saw here was I DO! I DO! way back in the early days of that production. I have seen show here a few times a year since then. I can not remember how many times I have been here. BUT YOU can Remember to tip your waiter or waitress well.

What a wonderful dinner theater. Great entertainment and food. We always have a wonderful time there. We saw Mama Mia and the singing, music and humor was outstanding. It is especially fun to go as a group of friends as you are seated at a table for 6 or booth. The atmosphere is Soo comfortable.

Wonderful staff and great food. Fun for the whole family! I saw Mamma Mia and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food and show was. Highly recommend at least one visit. I will return soon for another!

I didn't take advantage of this theater even though I was staying at a nearby hotel. But you can buy tickets at Chanhassen Transit Station just a very short walk away from the sign.

"...if you ain't got elegance, you can never ever carry it off." And Chanhassen carries it off!!! "Dolly" was even better the second time!

CDT is like a home away from home. Entering into the uniquely designed building is synonymous with walking through a portal into a different world. Everything the staff does at CDT creates an environment of hospitality and creativity that I've never seen replicated. Easily one of my favorite places in the world!

Beautiful lights and music, and delicious food! Our waiter was very good with my younger brother, and made him laugh! I had the prime rib and it was delicious. I LOVED the show, it was my first time seeing Mamma Mia and I wish we went sooner! That way I could have seen it again before the show closed. I cant wait to visit again!

Had a wonderful time at Chanhassen to see "Wild Angels" in the Concert Series! Food & service was very good. Concert was excellent!

Service was top notch, food was great, seating in booth....perfect.

NOT CELIAC SAFE: The staff tried so so hard and were so sweet but by the second half I was not feeling well. Had the Impossible Meatloaf and it was probably the best thing I ve eaten in a very long time! On top of that: show was amazing! Staff was awesome, so sweet and tried very hard to make me feel safe. However I recommend eating before you go!

We've seen shows here multiple times, and we've never left disappointed. The dinners are high quality and so are the performances. Try to get a table or booth closer to the center of the theater if you can, to avoid having to twist and turn too much to watch the show. But go without hesitation... it's a great time!

Lots of fun. Dress up and have a good meal and watch a great show. The servers are very polite and quick.

Fiddler on the Roof was a fantastic performance. The food was also decent, maybe not amazing, but definitely better than some other dinner theatres I've been to.

Great place to see a theater show. Fun atmosphere, dinner included, and most seats have good sight lines. Not Broadway, but prices are good for the caliber of show you will see. Great for date night or go with family and friends.

Couldn't have been happier with the production at the Chanhassen. Perfect birthday present for my mom as we enjoyed a great night out!

Been here for mainstage shows, concerts, and smaller shows - food is good by dinner theater standards, shows are really good quality, and everyone seems to have a blast.

Dinner, Service and the Show (Sister Act) were all fabulous. Highly recommend.

Great experience at matinee for Newsies. Food was good, appetizer shrimp was even better. Did not order desert but looked very good too. Service was very quick and professional. Again, the show was fantastic, music dance, etc. Understudy as the lead was excellent. Congrats on 50 years of theater.

Overall, a great experience!! The entire evening was a success. Parking was good, we had a drink at the onsite pub before going to dinner and prices and service we better than average. We went in and had dinner. I had the walleye and my wife had the sirloin steak. Bothe we very good and the staff was courteous and efficient. We saw the 100 uears of Frank Sinatra shiw and both the singer and the orchestra we exceptional. I highlt recommend the entire package.

We saw Mama Mia! The show was very good and the actors looked like they were enjoying the show and the audience enjoyed the show. The food was good and tasty. The wait staff were very efficient and attentive. Hopefully we will get back and see more shows soon. There is also a comedy stage as well as other stuff going on all the time. Definitely worth checking out to see what is going on.

Good food and clean comedy. The cast knows their craft well enough to stay away from the rabbit hole even when some audience members push them there. So not like a TV special!

I ate at one of the restaurants. I enjoyed prime rib, for under $16. The service was slower, than usual.
